I loved Bellatrix as a villain, but she's one of those characters in books and films that I wish I could burn out of existence for killing Sirius and Dobby
She killed Tonks too.
And for torturing Neville's mom and dad.
Dobby's death affected me the most but strangely enough, Bellatrix still remained one of my favourite characters by the end of the book. Second only to Snape

I was so upset from her torture. The description of pain Harry went through from maybe 5 or 10 seconds of it in the graveyard duel had him mentally wishing for death, and Bellatrix brutalised her with it repeatedly.
I think I shed the most tears at Dobby's death. He was such a faithful character.

Dobby: "Such a beautiful place to be with friends... Dobby is happy to be with his friend, Harry Potter." Dobby is easily the most selfless character in the whole series. His enormous heart is what makes him so incredibly loveable and it gives fans immense joy whenever he appears on-screen. He will do absolutely anything to provide for his friends, who he considers to be his family. It is so gut-wrenching to see his final moments, yet we know he has died doing what he loves most, which is defending Harry Potter. It is so beautiful when Harry wants to have a proper funeral for Dobby and, in the books, it is made clear that he wishes Dobby could have the kind of extravagant funeral that Dumbledore had. Harry believes Dobby deserved that amount of respect, and we certainly do too.
At least now Dobby is a free elf.

Honestly, Lucius only thinks he's Voldemort's top wizard. But he pales in comparison to Voldemort's other lieutenants like Snape and Bellatrix, who are far more dangerous. The whole series of movies from that point on shows just how out of depth the Malfoys in general are.

I like how Harry acknowledges that Draco didn’t sell him out when Bellatrix asked him to confirm if it was Harry or not and then Harry thanks him for it at 2:18 just shows that no matter how you feel about someone you still don’t want to see anything happen to them that they don’t deserve

While you are correct that Harry was thanking Draco for the wand when Harry took it from him , he was thanking him for not snitching at the same time . Also , Harry says thank you to Draco in a very appreciative manner before he even manages to grab the wand from Draco

Emily Bennington Yeah that confuses me. In Part 2 when Draco tracks Harry down the room of requirement & demands his wand back, Harry says, "What's wrong with the one you've got?" to which Draco replies, "It's my mothers..." So this is either a slip up or Narcissa has more than one wand. I suppose Dobby could have dropped it before leaving Malfoy Manor. I mean, they didn't give it to Ollivander to identify, so who knows?

I have always liked the fact that Harry realizes only afterwards how crucial moment it was when Harry took those wands from Draco. At that moment he became the true master of the elder wand which helped him a lot to defeat Voldemort at the end.
It's scary when you think about it because the defeat of Voldemort takes so little after all. If Ron and Hermione had not come to accompany Harry on his quest for Horcruxes, if Harry had not disarmed Draco, if he had not done this and that, if Hermione had not done this and that, if Ron did not do this and that, etc ... Who knows what it would have produce and I am sure that the outcome would not be happy, unfortunately.

Even if he hadn't disarmed Draco voldemort himself could never kill Harry due to that blood protection I guess that elder wand story is also important but secondary because the real reason voldemort died because the killing curse rebounded
@@rishavraj6973 It's also because he unintentionally gained lily's protection as well the moment harry's blood was used to re-create his old body. He could never actually kill Harry at all in the first place, but only the horcux side of him.
This is also the reason why during the Dumbledore vs voldy fight in the movies, Voldy's attempts to redirect the lightning(?) to a cowering harry never hit, even though Harry was incredibly close to the action.

If this chandelier fell on her, I mean it's so huge and heavy. They didn't make it that way because if she didn't die, she would have needed many weeks to recover. And she was not going to be able to be with Ron and Harry. The last time Harry couldn't wait a night and he wanted to find Horcruxes. I don't think that he had the time to wait for Hermione to recover. And don't forget that they sent her as Bellatrix some days after. @@Re3Ns When Draco disarmed Dumbledore, the former became the new master of the Elder Wand. When Harry disarmed Draco, the Elder Wand then transferred its allegiance to Harry. Since the wand then recognized Harry as its new master, it worked even worse than ever for Voldemort, since it wouldn't go against the will of its real master.

Incredible that she wasn’t even cast in the first place, her on-screen sister, Helen McCrory (R.I.P.), was initially cast as Bellatrix but her pregnancy caused her to drop out and Helena Bonham Carter replaced her. In the end though, it all worked out because both of them ended up being perfect fits for their respective characters.

Two moments I found funny was Pettigrew's 'ow' as he is knocked out, I also enjoyed how Lucius gets stunned twice in the clip, really bad night for those two. While the scene was powerful for Dobby and pivotal for the defeat for Voldemort I enjoy those two getting knocked around.
