Legendary piece of commentary
I still remember that clip from way back when.
How time flies😢
I love that he scored his 200th Premier League goal for Everton, and that he scored a hat trick and a derby goal against Liverpool in his final appearances. He did it all. What a player.
Wyane Rooney the half way line specialist. He score from half way line at Man United, Everton and also DC United. What a legend. Deserve all the respect from fans. I really love Rooney he is pure class.
The technique to hit that ball first time from inside his own half, considering the pace of the ball, is really quite astounding.
He was in his 30s at that point
@sizeXLbargby that's a pretty piss poor joke. Nice try covering your own mistake.
What a career, hopefully he has a great one as a manager as well.
this aged well
@Bobby Has he died? Has he retired from management? No? Then, this comment is still relevant. He's only 37 years old. He may not have a great managerial career yet, but time is surely on his side.

At that age. He was beyond his time 🔥👏
Wayne Rooney exists:
Arsenal: ah shit here we go again!!!
Cr7 returns Arsenal not again
Rooney is so good from teenage years till after manu career. He has score some crazy goals and performance at MLS too.
There is one thing i can never figure out which is why was he released from manu despite they fact he is still playing at a world class level.
He couldnt stand the shitty management after Sir Alex.
*Arsenal exist
Rooney: aww that's my fav meal
Indeed. More goals than any other player against Arsenal.
Evertonians might not like what I say but it was the wisest decision to go and work for sir Alex, who kept him from becoming another gazza and kept him from destroying himself.
My favourite player all Time!!!❤
It's a shame about the financial situation at Everton at the time. If we never had to sell him, he'd have been possibly our greatest ever player
Absolutely united legend!
I remember his first goal was stopped arsenal's winstreak.
Physique 💯
Pure Class.
Greatest Striker In Premiere League So sad He Never Wins Golden Boot🙄😐😔
Get him back ffs miss seeing him in blue
That's hattrick goal is soooooo amazing
Whenever Rooney got the ball, and the ball straight boom!
First goal is awesome
Rooney is the best
A very good player
0:10 remember the name 🔥🔥
The golden boy❤️💙👍
Alex F forced him into a team player but before that we got to see the most dangerous forward in the world. He would pick a corner and hit it there a second before you’d anticipate any other player would, and what’s more he’d hit it so incredibly hard.
His first few England goals he strikes near post from crazy distances and the keepers can’t get down there.
He smelled weakness and would pounce on any inch given. I’ve never seen anyone that good, not even Messi etc.
Shame he decided to party hard too.
At least he still picked up a good number of goals, assists and silver wear.
Wazza ❤️
Legend
Everton made his goals compilation, man utd didn't even made one, only the top 10..
Rooney legend
Goal 22 was like he was on the golf course 🏌️
Why let go Rooney to US? He is a king of Everton
5:36 the referee assists the ball
Bring him home

...at Everton.
The Manchester United legend, didn't do much for Everton
One day
Should have gone to World Cup 2018.
Yeah, as the water supplier, LMFAO.
Should of beat Shearer's record
He still can
On the first 5 he hit them in the same spot
Wow, that's a great opservation... Actually now that I rewatched it, the first 10 went on the left side.
wazza💯💯💯💯💯

Hunger - he wanted it bad. Climbing the top of the mountain.
If you hadn't sold him what might have been....

And then he left....

This isnt even a slice of all his pl goals
Just the ones he scored for Everton
Well no shit. This is for Everton ON AN EVERTON football club channel.
Poor player
People forget how good he was for us before he left, teenager carrying the side. I don’t blame him for leaving, just wish he came back sooner.
True he was friggin 18 when he left, what more could you expect from his performances?
Yeah, I wish he had came back after Sir Alex left.
0:10 remember the name 🔥🔥
He was world class before he ever set foot in old trafford.
There was a time when rooney matched the level of Messi and cr7
Dude he was greater than them.
Peak rooney is no. 3 in the world
After ronaldo left in 2009 rooney really stepped up and definitely in the years 2010-12 he was on another level
Im a man united fan since 2000 and i can guarantee you that back in 2004-2006 we all thought wazza was superior player to ronaldo.
@@harukrentz435yes
At 16 he was playing like he was playing football at the top level for years
People say his second spell wasn’t good but I saw him on numerous times and he was pure class
Wtf flag is that?
It's funny cause no what his age, he brought experience creativity and goals. He'll be an example on the pitch. Something which is seriously lacking in this Everton team.
Jay L1471 ha wankers

if my ears don't deceive me, the whole of Goodison Park yelled "SHOOT" at 5:26
Maybe they were booing joe hart clearance 🤔🤔👏
Youre ears were right
haha, I think you're right!
Pity we only received 10% of his greatness.
James True. Even though I’m a Man Utd fan but Man Utd had him from 18-31, literally the peak years 😂
@@accountuser5588 His prime lastet until 27 but he already reached his peak in his peak when he was an U21 player.
Chris Don't Miss I disagree. His peak was between 23-28. It was in the 2014-15 season that he had a massive decline. He may have been faster at running at like age 19 but he was definatly a better player at like age 24, more complete.
@@accountuser5588 he may have been a more complete player in his mid twenties and but in terms of individual and game changer skills his peak was from 18-21. In season 2009/10 and 2010/11 he matured as an allrounded player because Ferguson wanted him to drop deeper and deeper but in 2014 he declined EXTREMELY.
@@PatoNani18 he was literally the 2 nd best player on earth in the 2009/10 season untill March when the germans injured him and targeted him in the return leg. He reached a great level already at 16 and peaked in 2010 and had a steady curve for 4 years afterwards aswell. Only in the 2015/16 season did the wear show clearly
I think the best modern player to compare Rooney to for any younger person who can't remember young Wayne Rooney is Mbappe. Unstoppable, unplayable as a 16-17 year old.
People might disagree with me when I said Rooney is the same level as mbappe, cr7 and zidane . Messi, pele , Maradona and Ron 9 is above of all football players.
Rooney never won anything with England nor was close to win any ballon d'or. Don't forget how many UCl and ballon d'or Zidane and CR7 got on their shelf.
Mbappe wtf
@@lapinetlievre Ballon d'or is not a serious price. Thats just popularity.
@@Alexander711absolutely 💯
Could have been so many more.
@@Niven355 Maybe so but never fully appreciated cos of where he was from
@@parkender1833 Nah he's loved by United fans. But definitely underappreciated outside United and Everton.
Man utd should sign up this lad.
I’ll still never forget the radio city commentary….
“Into Rooney… he’s left Bakke floundering… takes on Radebe…OHHHH THE BOYS MAGIC!”
He broke my heart but I’ll always treasure his goals in his first spell at Everton. Lucky enough to have seen the best player in the world in royal blue.
Perhaps Everton could of done with Rooney this season??..Just a thought ???
He’s well past it.
@Sukhdev Sohal Year 13 well it ain't working at the moment ,leave wazza in the box to get on to things ,I mean it might of worked for a season or 2 more and with the young powerful personel we have now but I guess we never know now!!!..COYB 👍
@Sukhdev Sohal Year 13 Yes and the calmness in which it's played!!!!...Need to play the ball quicker and not always out to the wings and back !!!..I'm more of a Benetiz fan over Jose as think Jose may well of had his best times ...Where as Rafa and his ex red shite days ???..well I'd think that could give him the motivation to win things ???...Just a thought !..
rooney was really nasty..but calmed down after he had children...also due to his build being really stocky caused a decline in his quickness...but a great legend
Makes me laugh when people say gerrard was a better player. Gerrard btw, was a great player and had some great moments, but Wayne could do things on a pitch that stevie could only dream about. He had so many more skills in his locker and scored all types of goals.
La euro del 2004 que tuvo a los 3 jovencitos maravillas torres, ronaldo y rooney.
The Legend
He retired
😭😭😘😘😘
Rooney will always be my favourite player ❤️💙
Everybody hates Chris 😂😂😂
A footballing genius. Born to play football.
PLEASE BUY ROONEY
My favourite Wayne Rooney goal is the first one against Arsenal!
Wazza, no world for it.
Rooney is a Man United Legend first, Everton was his stepping stone. So, thank you Everton.
His heart is blue though
Absolute legend for Manchester United GGMU
First spell at Evereton and Man U Debut against Fenerbache was Rooney at his best. Never seemed to play with the same ease after that
Dont forget the euros in 2004
Wayne ROONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would take prime rooney over mbappe/haaland any day. What a player.
The way the fans go crazy in the stands. They explode.
Wayne Rooney is an Everton legend. No doubt about it
It wasn’t every premiership goal, loads were missed out
Ref did well to get out the way of that long distance 3rd
My Rooney. Time flies 😢❤️
Legend
....... For Manchester United.
@@neilphillips1298 I wrote this comment a year ago. And no I mean in English football in general

Underrated legend,
Not a legend at Everton

The original “REMEMBER THE NAME “
The real Red Devils ( wayne rooney )
The name will always be remembered 💙
Wa could’ve been if he stayed
I distinctly remember in the early to mid 00s Rooney’s breakthrough was as devastating as Owens. In fact he was a more promising signing for Utd than CR7 because he was playing as if he was fully developed right from the off (Euro 04). He definitely could’ve been more selfish in the pursuit of stats but he was unselfish and always wanted the ball lol.
Brings tears to the eyes and i'm not even a Everton Fan !
Straker berbahaya jika sudah membawa bola
People clown on him because he looks old now and not banging in goals every weeks for United. I think some of these idiots would struggle even compared to current Rooney.
