My favorite sentence from the actual instructions is: "When (WHEN!) the camera crashes, the button is invalid, or cannot be used normally, you can press the button (which button?) with a sharp object (good lord - what shape of sharp object?) to reset the insertion point (insertion point? what is that? aren't these instructions on resetting the camera?)."

Please tell me: 1) How large in size and in time are the clips resulting from motion detection? 2) In motion detection mode, the battery should last more than continuous recording. How long does it last in motion detection mode? 3) Can I record while charging? I want to leave it always charging so that motion detection never fails due to low battery. Thank you for your video
it would be great if you could somehow check the camera is working before you leave it alone to record. The last thing you want is to return to find you didn't press the right buttons and recorded nothing
You made this so long ago I doubt you are still responding to comments, but how are you WATCHING the videos? I need to watch them on my laptop, and I don't have an SD card reader. Can I watch them directly from the camera on the laptop somehow? THANK YOU
@@azracing44 Is it trying to make room on the card? After I watch them I download them to my computer and save them there. The card seems to get full fairly quickly, that's why I do that. (I wanted to upgrade the card but the one it came with is completely stuck in there, so I can't take it out to put in a new one.) Not sure if this helps!
@@catsinq5726 it dont save anything on SD Card, its 8gb, and i tried recording in 720p, that SD card was mine from arapund the house, i formated it to FAT32, and nothing unfortunately….

Hey, wen you start a motion function is it working at night aswell ?
For autorecord via cable it seems to need 5.2Volts to start.
5.0 isnt enough.
Just works @ home with 220v-USB. Not with in-car 12v-USB.

If you connect the camera with the USB i think it becomes a removable disk and you can copy the files.
For some reason my SQ12 Dont save videos on SD card, dont know why, do you have answer maybe?
