I've used virtual dj for many years using laptop then i switched to serato with SB2 and its great fun to have serato lite bt it has limitation of fx so I can't use much effects with my set. Anyway you are doing great job helping me out with your videos, I hope to watch drop to drop mix tutorial

I'm curious about the headphones. Can you listen to your headphones and still hear the audio in the room? Or does the sound only go into the headphones once you plug it in. What does the splitter cable do? I'm a bit fuzzy on that. Can you help?
In this case, you'll be able to hear the song you're not playing out loud yet on one channel on the splitter, while the other channel has your song playing on the speakers. Think of it as a cueing system, but without the controller :)

how can i put the music from my apple play on to serato. i see that i have itunes on the progam but none of my songs show. when i purchased my controller, sec hand it didnt come with software but i download the program.
Unfortunately, I don't think Apple Music (I hope that's what you meant) is supported by Serato. Only Tidal has support with Serato. You'll need to purchase the songs via iTunes to have them port into your Serato library
Hi, I am new to DJ and some of the songs that I use from soundclound don’t have any BPM on it. How do I fix this instead having to manually edit the BPM by myself?
You can press the blank BPM and tap the space bar to the beat! Unfortunately, I don't know if there are other ways to automatically get the BPM if your program can't read it.
Unfortunately, the current releases no longer support 32-bit. The last update to have that is Lite 1.0.2. Check out Serato Lite's download page's archives, and try to give it a run!

i switched to Rekordbox a while back. was playing a wedding and my controller DDJ-RX had an issue on channel 3 that i thought was a problem in my amps and speakers. i ended up spending a bunch of $$$ on the spot because I suspected my amps and such. ugh. found out it was the controller and ended up playing the gig using Rekordbox with the keyboard of my laptop. i think Serato DJ Lite would have been a better solution at the time -- that overlay and mapping looks way better than what Rekordbox had going on...

just got the ddj-rev 1and using serato lite. Some reason the crossfader curve in the mixer setting doesn't move, just stuck at halfway. Anyone else had this problem?

Nice and very Pro looking Video. But did you know that VirtualDj Home Free has almost all Pro features avaliable on Free version as long as you dont use any dj controller ? Keyboard is fully mapped by default.

Currently using my trusty MacBook Pro bud! It's still my workhorse with nothing but my songs on it!

They have options to record the mixes, but usually only when plugged into a controller

Unfortunately, you'll need another program, like Audacity, to record from Serato Intro. Try upgrading to Serato DJ Pro!
