"What used to be a corn grain is now a fork"
That is literally an inside joke in my graphics class now. Sir quotes it every lesson.

This is a piece I will use in my report on BPA versus PLA. Love it when we get back to using natural renewable resources from our on nation. We need this x 100 %.

I am looking for the machine that converts corn starch into pellets. If you can help with any links to suppliers or any at all, it would be helpful.

from an environment protection perspective, and especially for government authorities that are to help in protecting our environment, in evaluating the merit of this production method, it seems like a good alternative to oil-extraction, but still important to consider a few things.....
1st, respects given to the energies - both intellectual, scientific laboratory kind of efforts as well as the high (?renewable or balanced?) embodied energies used to manufacture the product.... 2nd, please consider the environmental impact on the location where the corn source ingredient is being harvested (so, the external inputs needed to compensate for the ecological destructions/imbalances, like water, organic matter/fertilizer, or pesticides, etc.).

Great idea accept for thew fact that we'd be allocating land for making food, for making corn for the sole purpose of being used in plastics.

However when half a million farmers across the world will be enforced to cultivate 🌽 or any other substitute to oil based plastic than the impact will be huge and soil fertility will decrease ultimately leading to food insecurity. Biodegradable plastic is absolutely go go for the the environment I believe what's about the threat "economies of scale" ?

    • @xavierg2950

How would soil fertility decrease from producing plastic any more than if that corn was eaten?

good i though that i should build big corn sugar > plastic,so it was only need the cob of the corn
that's mean i only need small factory sugar for some of sugar, but build big sugar factory in other country (not in palestine)
i was thinking about palestine children that saying he wanna eat sweet/sugar...
it was for the cake/cotton candy, etcetera ,and for the food (meat/veggies) too
good think i search for this before i build the factory,so i don't need build big sugar factory in palestine (it was in other country)
i'm glad the plastic was made from cob of the corn through fermentation

Great except that the corn used is GMO. This steeped in pesticides.
    So avoid these plastics.
