- With BLUELOCK’s Neo Egoist League coming to a close, over HALF of the players in Blue Lock will be ELIMINATED. The top 23 players and the bottom 23 players, in today’s video, I’ll be going over every character I believe will FAIL Blue Lock. Some obvious ones, some fan favorites, and some characters you wouldn’t expect, we’ll be discussing every single character who will FAIL and leave Blue Lock!

a defensive midfield of Raichi and Tokimitsu would be killerrrrrrr for the opposition,,, that endless stamina and solid strength from both of them would be crazy. orrrrrr, having Tokimitsu playing as an outside midfielder or fullback, where you literally need endless stamina cuz you are running up and down the entire field with both the attack and defense every time, and his anxiety of getting the ball back if he loses it, and he could even play as an inverted fullback to go into that defensive midfield with Raichi and help build up the attack

Im kinda hoping that we get more original team Z players dropping as having so many of em survive this selection would be too perfect, so my prediction would be for both raichi and igaguri to fall short, however due to the fact that BM are prolly gonna beat PXG at least one of em will survive (If both then its an L imo)
I got a weird feeling anyone eliminated will have the opportunity to go to the club that bid on them and compete in the U-20 World Cup for that country. If I'm not mistaken after the Manshine City match Ego told Yukimiya he could take Ajajax up on their offer and essentially cash out to get help with his eyesight. Why offer him the out if its not there for everyone else? That way we could see all the eliminated players with bids (RIP Neru) come back stronger than ever and even get some development for them, like imagine finally getting to see Nishioka in action and he's actually decent but was being overshadowed by Chigiri and Nagi.
The club doesn't work that way😅
My 23:
1. Isagi Yoichi (clutches first place. will match up with his "I will lead Japan to victory" line from earlier chapters)
2. Rin Itoshi
3. Barou (rounds off the new Blue Lock Top 3. Isagi, Rin, and the one man who knows how to steal their light)
4. Bachira (I think he will turn up in the last match. FC Barcha will lose to Manshine City, but Bachira will carry FC Barcha so hard that his Top 5 spot is secured)
5. Chigiri (I think he will continue to prove himself a major threat and asset in the last match)
6. Kunigami (I think the old Kunigami will come back eventually. A cold and soulless footballer is not someone who can come up with unimaginable plays. He will need to be a dreamer once again)
7. Nishioka (I think we'll get some more lore building for this guy. He'll get a reasonably good position again despite no screentime. As a player for Manshine City, we'll get to see why this is in Episode Nagi. After this, we'll finally start to learn more about this guy)
8. Nagi (I think he will evolve in the last match. My prediction is that instead of learning to make his own plays, he'll learn to manipulate others so that they make plays for him, basically turning everyone into his personal Reo. This will give Nishioka time to shine with Nagi and will also make Reo outdated. I think Reo will be dropped from Blue Lock for relapsing into his Nagi obsession. Nagi will have to evolve his dream of playing with Reo in the World Cup into something more philosophical like turning everyone around him into his Reos. Nagi will ultimately have to resolve that if he wants to continue playing at this addicting and intense level, he will need to have brutal all-or-nothing desires like Barou and Isagi. Reo represents Nagi's safety that he needs to discard).
9.Hiori (has gotten SO MUCH amazing development that he has to land on the starting team with Isagi. He even proved himself as someone that can rival and defend against Rin)
10. Karasu (he's this high up because he's a solid player who also has rapport with Hiori)
11. Gagamaru (the GK for the 11 starters)
12. Zantetsu (sub for Chigiri)
13. Niko (sub for Isagi)
14. Kurona (sub for Hiori)
15. Hiiragi (will get more main series development once he lands himself on this team)
16. Nanase (got just enough character development to warrant him being here)
17. Yukimiya
18. Tokimitsu
19. Aryu
20. Aiku
21. Fukaku Gen (sub for Gagamaru)
22. Igaguri (for, I predict, fouling Julian Loki leading to a victory for BM against PXG)
23. Raichi (comedically beneath Igaguri)
I predict that Shidou won't play for Japan. I don't see how or why his character will meld with everyone else. However, he remains a good foil to many characters and especially to Kunigami.
Reo will be dropped as well in a shocking development. I predict that Bachira will clown Reo and Nagi will evolve so far that the world sees that Reo is replaceable.
Only problem with this is that I think Sendou is also another confirmed character as he’s has too high of a bid to get beat out by 10 other players.I would get rid of Hiragi or Tokimitsu but I actually agree.
@@zhavierbrown4422 I forgot about Sendou ahaha I didn't even know who he was. That's a good point. Probably Hiirage would be gone then. He's the least relevant and necessary. Tokimitsu I think is more of a staple in terms of defense.

Assuming we get 22. Fukaku as a goalkeeper, there's really 1 spot left between Zantetsu, Kiyora and Nanase (also unlikely case but Igaguri). I feel Author has hyped up Kiyora and Igaguri with their duo practice and Nanase with his practice with Rin but ultimately they'll all fail and Zantetsu will be most likely the last member rounding off the top 23
I mentioned Sae as Pseudo as his cover is between Aiku and Kurona chronologically but he's unlikely to play but if he plays then well the top 23 are done and Kiyora and Nanase will probably put efforts in their match for nothing.

Counterpoint. I think the existence of Episode Nagi is a perfect reason why Nagi SHOULDN'T make the U-20 team. If Nagi does make it, then after the Neo-Egoist arc in Episode Nagi, why would they show the U-20 tournament from Nagi's perspective. It's be boring because it'd rehash the same stuff we'd see in the main series. Now, if Nagi FAILS, then we can see Nagi training overseas, while the rest of Blue Lock are playing in the U-20 cup. Then he either makes his return to Japan as a whole new Nagi, or gains citizenship overseas and plays for another country. (Probably the former since the Nagi x Reo duo is too iconic to permanently kill.)
@@DecimoKing Actually, To play for another country you need to be living there for 5 years according to fifa rules and nagi would miss the 2022 World Cup as blue lock takes place in 2018.
Nagi is super talented and nagi and reo had their teasing of them coming up in 248 or something

i reckon either a) reo passes the ball to nagi to let nagi score the winning goal in the barca game, but in doing so it means reo doesn't make top 23 or either b) nagi doesnt make top 23 but yeah becomes a beast outside of blue lock
@@king1491 They did show that Nagi and Reo have a plan, but I think they'll fail. They also teased that the main reason Manshine is losing is that Chris Prince insists on making Nagi the focal point of the offense, which Agi is against. This will come to head when their plan fails and Reo is forced to give up on Nagi. Though I didn't realize how long it'd take to play for another country so Nagi will come back to Japan for World Cup.
W hiryo, but I think either aomori messi, hiiragi or kiyora jin might be in top 23. I think aomori messi or hiiragi might score 1 goal in manshine vs barca match. For kiyora jin, I think he will have his moment either after or slightly before chapter episode of nagi that show him his playstyle.
i have a theory that 1 or 2 players are forced to be gk or be eliminated zantetsu and tokimitsu. U-20 having 2 speedsters might make chigiri look less cool in a story perspective so with his weapon of accelerating, that would be good for goalie. Tokimitsu position is used by a lot of good players, and him having unlimited stamina will make it so he never loses movement from being tired as a gk.
I think Nishioka will get eliminated honestly, and maybe the orange guy Kiora. I hope and PRAY Fukaku gets eliminated 😔TOKIMISU I PRAY SURVIVES🙏🙏🙏😔😔😔

I'm scared of something, imagine they get rid of some important character to let 1 place. The things that scared me is Chigiri. Imagine if he got a fatal injury during the Barcha VS Manshine city? That would broke most of the team (Kunigami gonna wake up during PXG for sure and he probably want to reunite with Chigiri has a team, imagine if Chigiri broke his leg again just before the reunion???) I'm so scared and would be so mad, I don't see this happen but still a little scare lol

As Nagi is my favorite player, I truly hope he’ll survive. I love his playstyle and personality since it almost exactly mimics mine, so I see myself in him (ayo pause on that) and I would love to see more of him.

I think you should not even consider Nagi and Reo being eliminated. Like winning the World Cup is Reo’s dream that was mentioned many times. It would be just dumb to eliminate him now. Keeping that in mind the players who have no cover and are close to elimination we have Zantetsu, Nanase and Igaguri. I think Zantetsu will pass and either both Igaguri and Nanase will be eliminated or something unpredictable will happen like Chigiri getting injured and one EXTRA SPOT appears for Igaguri (nice plot armor) or Nanase
Igaguri could be crucial for getting freekicks to turn the game around 😌
If we ever get a continuation from Blue Lock, it would be cool to see another spin off, which would take place after the u20 world cup, then we can see some players we never saw playing
They ain't makin a whole seperate side story for Nagi for him to get eliminated. The only reason he's on a decline rn is so he can learn what he lacks in order to compete with isagi and rin.

Its pretty much confirmed from episode nagi that chigiri is gonna get hurt again so its also helpful to have zantetsu to replace him in his own way. It just sucks we will have to say bye to characters we love or were hoping to see more from. I just hope the author doesn't keep his bias for igaguri cause sendou for me is a better comic relief and hes also useless. My boy raichi has to make it too, who else will scream from the sidelines to hype up the players.

I think that some eliminated players might still have a chance to play later at the world cup as a replacement for injured players. So if for example Chigiri tear his ACL he will be replaced by someone who ended up with 24th salary, Yuki going blind will be replaced by 25th etc, because 23 players is most likely a minimal numbers of players that will need to be registered for japan to be eligible to participate in the tournament.
There can only be 11 players on the pitch at one time so everybody could be swapped sub for other members of the 23

reo has the closest stats to the itoshi brothers (well rounded) so he has a lot of potential, i genuinely don’t think he’ll get eliminated + he’s really good at knowing the weaknesses & strengths of his team and controlling the game. i do think they might eliminate nagi just bc he doesn’t have the passion for it, this will force reo to push forward and maximize his potential

My theory is that shidou wont play in the u-20 cup. He gets and offer from the same club as sae and goes to play with him. Because of this igaguri who will be ranked 24th will slide in to the 23rd spot, getting in with luck.

I personally think during either the final Manshine match or during the world cup, Chigiri will wreak his leg again and be forced out of the game. i don't want this to happen, but it feels like something the writer would do to shock the fans like he did with Kunigami's elimination.

Nagi being this low is WILD. He has his own manga spin off and his failings are clearly being set up for his upcoming rise imo.
I have two possibile theories for who will make it into the U20 team. I think that Nanase and Kiyora have received too much spotlight so they have great chances to make It. Nanase is more plausible considering the numbers, since he Is already ranked 24th, but Kiyora is more plausible plot-wise, since he just received a volume cover dedicated.
Both my theories see Nanase and Fukaku being interchangeably ranked at 23rd and 24th spot and Kiyora being ranked 25th. The first theory Is about both Shido and Rin accepting their bids, the first one because wants to keep playing with Charles and second one because doesn't want to play with Isagi during the nationals. That way, Isagi would be the absolute ace of the team but still with teammates that will try to devour him, like Baro and maybe Yukimiya. Furthermore, Rin and Shido are not considered for the team, so Ego should choose the players at ranks 24 and 25 to fill the spots. The other theory sees only Shido accepting his bid and Rin still playing for Japan, but that would leave Kiyora out, or maybe Nanase or Fukaku. Honestly I prefer the first theory.
I think it's almost impossible for Igaguri to make It to the national team, and his goal after all Is only being able to not work at his temple, so getting a bid is enough for him. A 15million salary would make him more than happy and he would have reached his happily ever after.
What if someone in top 23 just dipped out of the blue lock program and took their bid from the team with the highest bid, would 24th basically get saved and get brought in cause of the missing slot?

Nah i think Igaguri is gonna survive because he is like the only counter against shidou cause shidou is pretty aggresive and igaguri got that fouling technique and plus he still he got that plot armor

I don't think Fukaku's spot in the top 23 is as confirmed as you might think. All the relevant players currently ranked below him (Tokimitsu, Zantetsu, Hiori, Raichi and Nanase) are all playing in the Bastard vs PXG match, with all 5 of them notably being on the starting 11 for their respective teams. It would be very easy for all of them to earn a bidding higher than Fukaku depending on how the match goes. There's also Kiyora and Igarashi who have the possibility of swiping a spot.
A theory I wanna throw out here that relates to the 3 goalkeeper rule, and would further decrease Fukaku's chances: What if 1 or 2 of the players guaranteed to make the top 23 end up becoming extra goalkeepers to satisfy the rule? Someone like Aryu with his long limbs and strong jumping ability would make for a good goalie imo.
I think (with these recent chapters) Raichi will survive and get higher salary over toki and zantetstu
I don’t think anyone’s getting eliminated anymore from the blue lock project. They’ve gone through the first phase which was the selection process of players who have potential..now they have 46 players, their not participants anymore..their part of the preliminary team of the JFU. If they don’t get picked for the top 23, it’s like the other half is gonna be part of the reserve team than being experiments..like that’s a huge chunk of people your eliminated and the manga just ends early. It won’t make sense of the next phase being 11 vs 12..it’s probably because the top 23 are the first team, while the others are the reserve squad in the situation a first team member gets into injured or pulls our for personal reasons.
idk i feel like it clld happen just for the shock factor and to show that no players are safe in blue lock. plus theres a chance that sae joins blue lock making it 24 players so it wlld be 11v11 with one sub. also if nishioka the goat does make it thru then chances are he will be injured/absent for the 11v11 so thats the other option
@@filificklenot allowed. FIFA’s requirements only allow a final squad of 23, late entry causes disqualification and you can’t exceed the required amount established. Preliminary teams need 22-50 players registered,but a final roster requires 23 of their “current” players. Not final players for the rest of the years.
I think Tokimitsu always makes it tbh. Even over zantetsu, but I feel like Tokimitsu would always make it and replace an unimportant character like Fukaku, Nanase, or Kurona. Insane stamina feats, bulky physique, caught up and beat bachira in a 1v1, Toki would prob survive

i feel like putting Endoji, Ishikari, Saramadara and Shiguma at the tier with yuzu is unfair. The last two played with chigiri in the third selection and so have more chance, ishikari got a title and as such has more chance, endoji is on pxg and could pull insane stunts
edit: i know shiguma and Ishikari have literal 0 as they have no matches but still

Reo on the other hand deserves that tier. I don't see him anywhere if we already have Sae, kurona and Hiori as midfielders (probably a sub, alongside Nagi, 2 subs at the same time). He's liability in defensive line. Ego also finna put Barou behind Isagi again (he gonna be midfielders too). So midfielders are kinda packed there... Even Bachira probably going to be midfielders too...
