When he was playing for olympiacos against panathinaikos in oaka pao fans attacked oly players with knives, smoke agents,chairs etc during players' departure for the locker rooms at the half time.additionally before and after the games between the two greek teams pao fans would terrorise oly players threatening to injure or even kill them,so the players were often scared of their safety, since police couldn't do much to help.same events of course occurred and against pao players from oly fans at oly stadium.thats why he stated that he never wants to play for a greek team again
