Labas Eldarai, labai norėjau išgirsti,ką groji,ką kuri dabar.Man didžiulį įspūdį paliko koncertas. Vilniuje, prieš nemažai metų,tavo grojimui atliepė net pati gamta- lijo, griaudėjo,trankėsi žaibai, skrido natos nuo piupitro,o tu ir orkestras grojo, grojo, nei vienas žmogus neišėjo,nes koncertas vyko lauke...Ačiū tau,tai nepamirštama...❤❤😊😊🔥
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo glad you did this song because prior to now, I have never heard anyone else besides the composer and his eponymous group do this song. I love what you did with it!
I love this tune (and PMG) so much... so excited to hear you covering it. I've covered portions of it before at solo piano gigs ages ago, but never felt like the whole tune would go down very well without at least a trio - and here it is :)
Also loved what I heard in the solo section where it sounded like instead of an ascending chord pattern / stair toward the conclusion (like what's in the original) you began it and then surprise-reversed it into a downward / falling pattern
I'm a big fan of you and of PMG and this version is beautiful! Should be perfect as a part of a future live cd (i'm still in love with you Live At Blue Note)..
Fantastic arrangement! I am playing this in a few weeks and am diving into making the chart. Any chance you have one available? Mad respect for your playing.
You guys did a beautiful job with this. I was thrilled to see this song title show up in a video from you. For a long time As It Is has been one of those few songs I return to that push me to that deepest emotional place. Your recordings of Daily Living and Point of View Redux are like that for me too. "Transform" by Terence Blanchard also, if you know that one.

Lovely interpretation/version of this song.
Just found this again, stopped me in my place. Almost as good as the original. You are amazing♥️
Wow, great great cover, feel and performance! With decent applause?? Almost like a comedy, im not sure the audience got it.
One of my favorite songs. Nicely done.
Man, who are you and where have I been? So much soul and power on one of my Metheny favs. Gorgeous!

Superb version. It is so great to hear the original spirit of the song AND your own contribution to it. This is how is should be done.
I love how the audience sit like robots ? His playing is inspired and traveling right over their heads!
You know I was dancing and grooving over here! What a jam!

Someone must have put Xanax in the drinks there. This audience is oblivious to the awesome jam they just witnessed. Wow!

Brilliant job, guys! I'd love to hear your take on other Metheny/Mays tunes!

I've been following your career for a while. Saw you performing with Chris botti in Tucson. Keep up the great work! Have you ever played with Pat?
For sure it is an amazing performance but why did not you include the sound of okarina?? The okarina sound would be a very nice sound.
With an incredible performance like that, that has to be the most disappointing applause I've ever heard.
I'm about to transcribe this solo as it is
