In all fairness, setting a 4k to 2.5x scaling then turning on 8x MSAA is a completely unreasonable setting to turn on any game, that's rendering the game at 2.5x 4k then running an 8x multi sample AA, that's like effectively rendering above 16K.
@@anton2417 for those who dont want AA but actual more internal resolution or the opposite need AA but cannot pull the resolution. as a PC game you offereverything to let the user find the ideal settings
Well around 2048 we'll be able to see what that would actually look like Apparently the 5090 is supposed to have 32GB of Vram meaning it's still going to be 7GB short of what is necessary at minimum to run it like that.
@ Well according to you the game renders at 16k which there isn't currently a monitor, at least not affordable or easily available, that can do so and no graphics card as of right now has enough Vram to actually make it run like that anyway since setting the game up like that requires 38/39 GB of Vram which currently no card has, unless of course you have multiple cards which most people don't have.
@@Z38_US still i don't get where the issue is. Why do i need to set the game like that if i don't even have the required monitor for rendering this resolution?
i where just right this moment looking at a different video of yours and wondered how youre framerate was so smooth and now whle watching another video of yours i see that you uploaded this reguarding preformance related things xD
He shows things on the hardware he has. Metrics shows that for these settings you will need approximately 40GB of VRAM, which concludes that even a 5090 which has 32GB of VRAM won't be enough. Now at this point you could argue that these settings are redundant, considering that you need a 16K monitor to render 16K resolution.

basically this. this is just exploiting the game for no reason
Then why even have the option in the game?

In other words, some of the settings in this game require your computer to be able to power a small nuclear plant😮
rtx 6090 maybe enough? but that's next year
Maybe in 2030
even if theres a 48gb gpu, it won't have the raw power to run those at 20fps let alone 30fps. personally, resolution scaling is better than msaa
It's beyond 16k resolution rendering at this point
Me with a nearly 7 years old 2gb graphic card wondering why am I even concerned to watch this
CDPR: "old generation can't run cyberpunk"
Old generation:
No one in their right mind would play with those settings lol

So do you have a monitor that renders 16K? Last time I checked the highest resolution monitors come in 8K
@@cyberParan0id So then there is 2 issues, I didn't even notice that thx for pointing that out tho.
@@Z38_US could you please elaborate on the issues?

This is the Weirdest Flex video on TH-cam
rdr2 makes you want to have an nuclear power plant
Do you even know what Resolution Scaling does?

24GB 5090? brother who are you tricking.
I think he is trying to show rtx 4090 can't even apply the settings, let alone 5090. I may be wrong

Did you somehow change how much ram you can allocate to rdr2 or do you just have a shitload of ram?
Are you confusing ram with video memory?
I don't get it why did they decide keep this setting if they knew no graphic card even in the next 5 years would be able to achieve it?
Absolutely, a complete waste of menu space and programming time to let this available even if not usable
I wonder if rockstar have like alien technology to make games n that's why they soo good, last so long and take forever to make 😂
