Your account is very helpful. Been watching it for 2 weeks. I'm looking to come to the USA after completing my CS grad in 2024 and I hope you keep uploading more videos.
My 2 cents after graduating from Dartmouth MEM, "Jack of all trade Master of none". Job search is truly on your own, no college in the US helps you about it.
Hey Devansh, great video! Can you make a video with an Engineering Management student from San Jose State Uni? (Someone whose interests lie in Product Management)
Are engineering managers more hands on with development processes? My problem with project management was it was more of overseeing projects rather than actually working on them. I hear product management is more hands on.
Just watched your videos it's cool, make more videos regarding MBA in USA as well , you made ofnMEM , just subscribed your channel , hope to see more fun videos :)
gre has been waved for people with more than 2 years of work experience as well as gpa over 3.2. This is what i can see on the purdue website if by any chance you read this comment please do reply
Planning to pursue MEM next fall. And yes Purdue is on top of my list. Thank you for this video👍 but I am still left with some queries. Can you answer those here please coz I dont have linkedin premium. Firstly does every student able to get Intership/Co-op that is offered by Purdue curriculum. Does University help to get that? How many classes are in a day? Are there enough on campus jobs to extract living expenses?
I read that Purdue and West Lafayette may not be the best in terms of location as compared to other MEM options because it's not an industrial hub. Is this true, or even if so, is there more to it? Thanks a ton in advance
Hey Vani, I have been planning for MEM in US/MBA in India to enter product management role. But heard that due to recession there are massive layoffs in US. Is that correct? And how are the job prospects for Indians after MEM?
I am in the same boat man can’t decide between MEM in usa and MBA in India for product management ? Many people say that MEM is a bs degree ,If you guys have any insights on this topic kindly share , we can also make a discord group to discuss
Your vlog was really helpful. some of my doubt are at rest but still i have some questions about mem. Can you answer some of them ? that would be very generous of you.
How hard is the masters in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management at Purdue University? I heard that Purdue is hard in engineering but I am not sure about that. I hope to hear from you soon.
Very informative just one doubt: Do we need to take MEM only if we have work experience or can graduated students take mem with less than 1 year of experience? What are the chances if So. Waiting in anticipation
People with both work experience and no work experience can apply for MEM. It is not a requirement to have work experience. The admission process evaluates your profile holistically.
Amazing video, very informative. Is there any way you can get into Management Consulting after pursuing an MEM? Do you happen to know anybody who's done the same? Thank you
Hi I’m from bangladesh. Mera apse ek question What kind of posts do you think it is important for employees to take ME course? Especially those who are engineers. Please kindly suggest me.
Hey Vani does Purdue have 1 year MEM course which is STEM designated course??? If not Purdue, Could you suggest few Unis which provide 1 year STEM designated MEM course
HI, i am a mechanical btech graduate (2022) . And I have no work experience and i am planning for engineering management master this sept intake (23) . Should I go for it ? Or are there any interesting and more job assurance courses for a fresher?
I would say first zero down on what do you plan to do after graduation, then select the right course and university. That being said, MEM is a great course and offers a lot of opportunities in both engineering and management.
Hello there , it would be very lucrative for me if i get to know the profile of vani i mean her gpa, her gre , her ielts , research papers? , work experience? Thank you 🙂
Hey Devansh, the MEM program hasn't been credited the STEM designation. Was planning for Fall 2023 intake and saw your video today. I'm thinking of applying to Purdue University, I dropped the university an email but haven't received any reply regarding the same. Hope you could help😊 Your content is so helpful, keep up the great work! All the best to both of you.
@@devanshbansal There's no information about STEM accreditation on the official program website, that is why I was unsure about it. So far, I've seen the STEM accreditation mentioned for other universities and didn't find it on the Purdue's MEM info page. Thank you for the reply😊✌️ I'll consider applying here then!
Really thankful to TH-cam algo for suggesting this video ❤🙂
Most of the MBA degree in US is STEM designated. MEM is more inclined towards tech side but in MBA you learn to manage things on holistic level.
