@@therealsaint1736 It's not slow at all. Just speedy players aren't zipping around. It's great! No more running up and down the court getting no rebounds or anything because the guard just sprinted and shot, trying to get lucky 7.

Now if you miss 3 times and the other team is taking 2s only based on basic math it’s still only 20-18. This is why the game struggles to feel real because defense is so bad.
@@mikebeech942 I get what you're saying entirely but me personally I just take what the defense give me as fast as possible. I can't dribble for shit so I'm passing, shooting, or finishing in 3½ seconds or less lol
@@mikebeech942 i get the logic for comp, i just hate that there’s really no distinction between comp play that should be on stage or pro an and what should be “casual” more laid back play in 2v2/3v3. Everyone was doing the same stuff. Might be able to hop back on now

Could you imagine if a shooter drove to the basket on a fast break, stopped, and ran to the three-point line because “3s are more than 2s lol”? The entire league would laugh at them and they’d never get signed to a team once their contract expired.

I’m definitely back playing after quitting season 1 at lvl 36. Missed all of season 2 as well. But this patch has made my build standout. I’m pleased.

Season 3 is the best.
Honestly, I don't think they should've removed/nerfed the sideways speed boost altogether, they should've just punished you for constantly going left right left right, like changing direction with that move takes a lot of stamina or something, cuz if you're a skilled dribbler that move was really useful, like I get guys who are good will adapt at the end of the day, but it just feels like punishing a whole group of people just because the "meta" is abusing the mechanic. Speed boosting around the court like a cracked up Speedy Gonzalez is fun as shit, I'm not gonna act like there wasn't a need to iron some shit out, but removing mechanics has always been 2k's downfall imo. They'll have great mechanics and ideas, but they don't implement them perfectly, and instead of ironing them out and improving them, they just remove them entirely.

but then u can't dribble on offense and you pray your defense turns into offense
@@415getActive I see what you mean. On my SG I can get enough rebounds or after the rebound I get alot the first passes. I’m not really a dribbler. So as long as I can get quick first step, bullet, needle threader, and glue hands, it works for my play style
