Mrs. Helen, I am watching your older videos that I haven’t seen yet cause I so enjoy your kind, gentle way. I’m soon to be 62 & my hubby is 65. We still work but hope to retire when I’m 65. Helen , your turtles are so cute
I loved this project also. I do love turtles and frogs. I used a strange shaped gourd that I had that had been cut in half to make my turtle. We have box turtles here in the Blue Ridge Mtns. of Va. so I painted it to look like that. I had so much fun doing it. I placed it coming out from underneath a huge hosta . It looks so real. I tried to fool a good friend of mine that is also country like us and as soon as she saw it she said.....that's not real.....box turtles aren't that big ! We had a good laugh. My little dog pricks up her ears when she hears your neighbours dog on the video, ha ha. I enjoyed making a turtle too. I made a couple of hedgehogs in cement for my garden which was fun. Looking forward to your next video

Ms. Helen, that chicken is gonna be in your supper menu soon..lol. That is so sad to hear they ate your green tomatoes that you planted...they must be a nuisence chasin them all the time. The owners should be finding a better coop...I love chicken, on a barbeque! ; D...LOL You make my day sunshiny! We had frost 2 nights ago here in Nova Scotia, Canada. The trees are changing colors!...its so pretty! I love your little family of turtles! Ms.Helen, maybe make a fox out of that portland cement, keep the chickens away, hahaha! Helen, Thanks to you, I now have 13 windchimes hanging in a very old almond tree. The tree was going to be cut down since it no longer puts out nuts, but now that it holds my windchime collection it puts out music instead! Who needs nuts when you can have music and sparkles? I call it my Helen Tree.

Oh Ms. Helen, I will always be watching and sharing your videos, and cannot forget the coffee with ya...but You have inspired me to not only do cement work but to do clay crafts also, I have made so many things because I watched every detail you've done and I have done the same and I have great results...You're so inspiring and such a delight to hear from that I cannot wait to see what you come up with next....I have to try some of these turtles wow Ms. Helen ...you had the idea and God seen you through it....Great Job !! I forgot to tell ya this....I experimented with the cement using some wire and then coating it with aluminum foil then cement and it works perfect...that is for things like the head and legs of some of my projects.... You look just lovely in that blue shirt of yours...just glowing Ms. Helen if you don't mind me saying so....Have a Blessed Day!

mushrooms n rocks and the 🐢turtles they need some other little critters. Maye a nice big 🐸 Frog lol would be so cute 💕. 🐞🐞 Couple of cute over sized 🐞🐞lady bugs would be darling. What do you think? Hope you read this, would love to see what you come up with. I sculpture with clay, have you thought about trying it? Winters coming!! Sculpy clay..you can buy the Air dry or bake it after wards n paint or buy the colored clay. My daughter got me started n I love it. Bless you Ms Helen..youtube family loves you😘

I put ice cubes in my coffee when it is hot out side in summer lol, when it gets late fall and winter is when i drink it hot. :) I always watch our videos ,I think this is a great idea with me it might be on a smaller scale like your little ones for a paper weight on my desk here. great video . I don't think Mod Podge will seal them for the water outside... if you completely dry them, then use a varnish, or that spray clear sealant, and that should do it!

Did you ever eat green fried tomatoes.. I love them.. Slice the green tomato, roll in flour shake some salt and pepper on and fry.. Fry slow to medium as to not burn them.. They are good with butter bread and or fried potatoes
