Fourth International Conference on Vajrayana Buddhism explained

Dasho Karma Ura, President of the Centre for Bhutan & GNH Studies talks about the 4th International Conference on Vajrayāna Buddhism and what went to hold the event, including Vajrayana Buddhism in Bhutan.
The Centre for Bhutan & GNH Studies (CBS) and the Central Monastic Body of Bhutan will organize this conference in close collaboration with the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC), India from October 1 to October 4, 2022, in Bhutan.
The theme for this year’s conference will be “Modernity of Buddhism” which is a very broad theme to enable diverse contributions. Papers, panel discussions, and practice workshops are invited on topics addressing how Vajrayāna Buddhism has developed across time and geographies and how its philosophy and practices can actively contribute to global well-being and transformation, as the world emerges from the pandemic. The conference will examine how Vajrayāna Buddhism continues to creatively adapt to the modern world.
