Clive Barker's Jericho? Yeah, definitely agree. I liked the game, beat it a few times, almost got all the achievements (before my sister sold my xbox without telling me 🙃), but the gameplay definitely wasn't that great. Probably would have benefited from being a co-op game
Picked this up recently, and even though it's simple and janky, I am still enjoying it quite a bit. I quite dig the soundtrack too even if it seems a bit off to the theme.
The game is honestly decent, if the enemy design was better and the game overall slower, it couldve been actually good, visually its more impressive than re4 at parts, mechanically not so much. Hope you play Nocturne, from Terminal reality devs, its a great horror RE game, a bit jank but overall pretty moody and with a great story.
Cold Fear...just the title triggers me... Honestly I hated this game,I just found the whole wave/ship physics and some of the ambients good but the rest could have been much better. Seeing you playing this will be surely entertaining,I am so curious to hear your whole opinions. Not even an interesting story, interesting characters,good voice actor,fun gameplay or a good ending,you do this whole backtracking the entire game without a map through all the annoying events and cheap damage just to finish it and ask to yourself "why I played it?". Atleast this is my opinion,I saw people loving it and asking for a remake so it might be that I can't appreciate it enough,that people are blinded by nostalgia or that someone truly believe it's so great (which seems weird but opinions are opinions). If I remember it's made by the same developers of "Alone in The Dark: A New Nightmare" but something went wrong here, they cared so much that didn't even try to differentiate common human enemies.

I can't find anything that makes me saying "okay I like this game" and there isn't even the satisfaction of finishing it and unlocking some cool stuff,getting a good ending or anything unique if not the TPS-style shooting but that was done better and more satisfying on RE4 the same year.Surely it also aged quiet a bit but even Silent Hill 1,Resident Evil 1 or Dino Crisis have aged and I see myself (and others) a lot more prone to replay and still appreciating them.I see no clear direction and enough caring in this game by its developers. This is my personal opinion,one of my worse games but others can see it as a good and nostalgic game so I wish them a proper remaster/remake.
Night Dive Studios should give this game some love.. Horror games are making a comeback and this game deserves a second chance.

yes, damage is tied to frame rate from what I saw from the chat. It's why those small things that shot out liquid did so much damage.
They really should have recorded more voice lines for trying locked doors if 90% of the game was gonna BE locked doors.

cold fear sure seems to have alot of issues on pc, ive played it tons of times between xbox and ps2 and never had an issue XD

I played when I was 11 or 12 and loved it. It's definitely a rough game to play these days though. It didn't age very well.
