    I have watch over 50 videos about Starlink, but you have taken your time to do this video in details including reset button and blue light, let me appreciate time and resources used for doing this video.
    Many thanks

    Thank you for the unboxing video. It's very helpful. I have two questions. What is the largest diameter pole that can be used with the pole adapter? Can the unit operate on 12v such as provided by a car battery or on a lithium battery bank that provides about 13 volts?

      >> What is the largest diameter pole
      It's 52 mm / 5 inch

      Powerbank is Anker 737. I tested it only for 2 hours and used 30%.
      The cable is 65W USB-C PD to DC (5.5 x 2.5). I bought it in a local store.

      Already available in LATAM, Mozambique and Madagascar. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he got one directly from SpaceX.

    Hi. Can I use a RJ45 cable and connect it with my Router for using my Wifi from my router too? Sorry for my english but I am from Austria

      Yes, you can use an RJ45 cable to connect any external router.
      I recommend switching the built-in Starlink router to the bypass mode.
      Your external router should be configured to auto ip/dhcp client mode.

    Does the mini support PoE? If someone requires an Ethernet cable, it would be nice if a separate DC cable wasn't required.
    I was also thinking if the router board has PoE, perhaps they could use the same router board as the indoor router, reusing the supplied AC adapter and power jack. (PD/PSE would be swapped so config is necessary, alternatively use passive.) Then a single Ethernet cable could go to the Mini outside.

      There is no PoE. Only DC barrel jack.

    I was wondering will it work in same way like gen2 when in ocean sailing? Or there are technical limitations?

    • @olegslab
      @olegslab  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No technical limitations. But it will be prohibited by SpaceX at the moment.

    WHERE did you buy the RJ45 cable?

    • @olegslab
      @olegslab  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's a cable from the Starlink rev4 (gen3) kit. But SpaceX sells it in a shop.

    How well does it work with obstructions?

      Pretty good. The antenna is doing its best.
