you don't want the California riff-raff in Wy. suddenly you will find yourself with state income tax. Higher property tax..and unaffordable real estate..and it goes downhill from there- Just a word from your neighbor to the south where all of the above happened: (our property tax went up by 25% this year)

Warning: Exposure to Californians may result in unexpected wallet shrinkage and a sudden rise in kale smoothie shops. Proceed with caution! Thanks for the comment

Seems like California is doing a 'population export' program. Get ready for an influx of surfboards and tech startups!

Property tax went up which means your home value did too. Conservatives are so cartoonishly goofy.

8 Lane freeways packed to the gills, businesses and foot traffic everywhere. Overcrowded state is still overcrowded. @@livingincheyennewyoming2341

    👋😊Again, as a California refugee...
At this point in my life experience, sadly I'm ready for less alternative cultures. It's not how I was raised at all, but they don't want me, (a Caucasion female). So we're set to segregate ourselves...we don't feel safe on the west coast anymore. The legitmately active anti-caucasion behaviors we've continued to experienced more and more over the past 5yrs or so, has turned us into hermits afraid to leave our house (which is a pricey $2300 studio apt). So, yes, (again, sadly), we are ready for the isolation and calm...as we've had nothing but stress, frustration and fear for too long now. Not-to-mention we can't afford to stay here, they killed the law that kept rent increases low, now landlords/property owners can raise rents as much as they want each year. I've talked to people who's rent was raised up to $1000 in one shot.
The west coast...California & Washington specifically are greedy, dangerous, hateful and beyond unwelcoming unless you fit a specific profile/ideology. I can't speak to Oregon, as I haven't lived there...but yeah, these two states are a each their own level of hell.
To us Wyoming sounds like an Oasis. We look forward to a engaging a new community...we hope y'all will take us in when we're ready! We promise not to ruin your beautiful and wonderfully rich historical state!!
    ❤️🇺🇲

Respect to you for saying it as you see it, which is exactly as it is.
If you move, make sure to already have the new place before moving, and get your new license plates, to remove the california ones. You'll be welcomed much more and faster. Unfortunately, most people see anyone from california as all super liberal, they can't comprehend that we're not all like that. Actually, you are probably more conservative than most people in wyoming due to your real experiences.
Alot of conservatives in Midwestern states are conservative, but not due to actual experience as to why, they were just raised in that hyper-conservative environment. Which makes them fail to realize that conservatives from a hyper-liberal state like california, are conservative because they have lived in the opposite environment and seen first hand the failures of liberalism, which makes you significantly more of a conservative in my opinion.

My pro is the nature. I've been through several times and it truly is a beautiful state to get outside. My con is no legal weed. I like to smoke and I don't want to go to prison for it.

Haha, nature and no-nature (if you catch my drift 😄) - a classic dilemma! Wyoming's great outdoors is indeed stunning, kind of like a Snoop Dogg music video but with more mountains and less... herbal creativity. 🌲🏞️ Thanks for sticking with us, and hey, who knows, maybe one day the laws will mellow out just like a Snoop Dogg track. Until then, stay safe and keep enjoying our videos - it's 100% legal and 110% fun

I’m looking into Wyoming. I’m tired of the California politics. The lack of job opportunities doesn’t concern me much. I plan on opening a business when I get into Wyoming, so that’ll definitely help with the lack of job opportunities lol. I just want a place I can isolate with my family and newborn daughter where she will be safe and grow up in a community that will help share all the same values I have and I want her to have. I have no plans of bringing ANYTHING political from California… so don’t worry Wyomans, I want to keep Wyoming the way it is! Hopefully when I do make the move… my family will be welcomed with open arms and not looked upon as if we are the stereotypical Californian that’s trying to push California into every other state

Gonna disagree with you on wanting more diversity and other cultures here. I lived in Dallas, how do I put this. If you open the door to other cultures you’ll have drive-by shootings, and gutters full of needles in five years max

I've driven through Cheyenne a lot during all times in the year. The weather is the biggest drawback for me. Man is it windy!! There is no understating that. The winters can be brutal.

Ah, Cheyenne! Where the wind sings louder than the car radio and the snowflakes are sometimes as big as your travel mugs. 😂 Thanks for braving those epic gusts and frosty winters to keep up with our videos. We're pretty sure if you can handle Cheyenne's weather, you can handle just about anything we throw at you in our videos. Stay warm, stay safe, and keep watching - we promise to be less blustery than the Cheyenne winds!

I am a Cody boy till I die but I had to move away in 15 the laws around weed are draconic the idea of sending someone away for 5 yrs over a decades old charge is completely palitable t a blood test is in constitutional let alone from an idiot cop
