Very good outline of the basic foundations for evaluating schools. One category I would add for high school seniors would be which institutions of higher learning they are accepted to and/or going to attend. Also, does the school have an active alumni association (good for fund raising) and what is the level of parent participation along with employers of parents. In looking at schools, it should be noted to examine the facilities along with the financial strength of the school. Having attended and graduated from The International School of Brussels (class of 1979 - Go Raiders!), there weren't nearly the number of options available then as there are today in the Brussels area.
