I think that all the people who have died in the last few months alone, from covid or other causes, not holding their loved ones hands is so monstrous and so very very sad. I'm so sad about Elizabeth and how she was treated. We all know the terrible COVID thing and how hard medical staff is working. They need to remember those who need care who don't have the virus. I pray your family will move quickly through the anger, which is very understandable, so you can move through your grief and on to the good and happy memories of Elizabeth. I am so very sorry for your loss. Elizabeth sounded like a wonderful lady. I hate to hear how horrible her family was treated. I have a disease very similar to lupus. I know how scary it can be on a day to day basis and knowing there is something wrong and no one willing to see you would be so frustrating. Then to have to be in the hospital by myself would have been miserable as well as having someone in there I couldn't see. That is horrendous. I will be praying for you and your family. I love your Flosstubes. They bring me great joy and encouragement. Have a blessed, stitchy week ❤
I am so sorry for you and your husband's loss. You have my deepest sympathy. I feel so sorry for your step daughter's poor husband and boys. My 82 year old aunt fell and broke her hip in April and went through surgery and rehab without anyone getting to be with her. We were told only one person could come in and that was only "if" she was dying. Mentally it is not good on anyone to be denied seeing their loved one. Doctors are supposed to take an oath to do no harm, yet refusing to see a sick patient except over the phone or computer is doing harm. This is so terribly sad. 😥 Take care.
This is my first time visiting your channel. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my sister in February to ALS. Right before Covid. My friend lost her grandma to covid 99 years old and died alone except for the nurse. So I understand your sadness. And you are doing what you need to do for yourself and your husband. The better you get the better he will get. RIP Elizabeth.... and I did subscribe to your channel. She was beautiful.
Stacy, how unfair our world when it comes to medical needs. No one should ever be along, no matter what the situation is. How unloving that medical team and hospital was to Elizabeth. So sorry to hear about Elizabeth. I'm glad you gave us an update. You are so right-we need to stand up for our rights. This whole COVID has gotten out of hand. For heaven's sake you can walk into a grocery story with no mask, etc. but you can't go into a hospital to see family who are dying or dealing with extreme illness. Thinking and praying for you and your family to come to peace with it all.

So sorry for your loss. Believe me you are not alone. My eyes teared up and that lump came in my throat. We just went through the same senerio twice this month. It is very painful. Dear Stacy, I’m just now getting caught up on some of my missed FlossTube videos. I’m so very sorry for the loss of Elisabeth to you and your family. I hope the healing process has started and in the months to come you will be able to cherish your memories with and of her more and more. I work in healthcare on the business office side and this nasty COVID virus has even effected our department. I will say that I wholeheartedly stand by what you said, and NO patient should ever have to die alone. While I can understand some of new regulations that healthcare providers are being forced to now practice by, no patient should ever be pushed aside due to this virus. Patients must always come first.
On another note I just LOVE your stitching and your videos. I don’t comment a lot but I so appreciate you taking the time to make these videos and share your work and life with all of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you and your family as the healing continues.

Very sorry to hear about loosing your step daughter Elizabeth. 🌈 it sounds like you were both blessed to have each other. Our family went through the same thing with my cousin Lisa who died alone without her husband or three daughters by her side. The saddest part was Lisa died the same day her granddaughter was born. I just want to say how sorry I am for all that you are going through. I come to floss tube to hear about life not just cross stitch and I am impressed by your honesty. Your stitching is beautiful. But so are you. I’m sorry about your knee, I had an injury when I fell and it’s taken ages to heal but it was so painful! I can only imagine what you’re going through physically as well as emotionally. Take care of yourselves, you your husband and Elizabeth’s husband and sons. Death can be senseless. Doctors aren’t infallible. Bereavement is a hard journey. I hope all of you can find your way through, slowly a day at a time. Hugs.

Prayers for you Stacy & family. It’s such a difficult time for many and so disheartening not to be able to be beside loved ones who have been hospitalized & then to lose them. I went through it in April with my hubs right after Easter. Long story but all fine now and a blessing in disguise. So thankful for the Lord above for his strength because I have none but through Him. I have an aunt in her late 60’s with Lupis and Leukemia. She is doing fine but she has some really hard days. I hope you get some relief from your knee pain. Hugs 🤗 to you and your family.
