Nice upgrades I just picked mine up this weekend. Still waiting for the windshield which is back ordered. Found one with a roof so that was nice when the weather is hot here in Arizona. Roofs are back ordered for many many weeks. I need to add a winch and I’ll install the light bar similar to your front end. Based on other videos someone bought a heat shield for under the bench seat that didn’t look to hard to install. Thanks for sharing.

I've had a Gator XUV 4x4 since new and it's always been cold natured. Have had the dealers mechanics look at it several times over the years and they just say that's the way they are. Looking to get something that will start and stay on without having to restart and sit in neutral reving the engine until it warms up. It only does 28 mph tops also. These look like a big step up to me. Enjoy it!

Like my machine pretty good. I went with the Honda Soft Top off Amazon, and a Strongmade 2in lift, really 1.25in lift. Mine runs 43mph limited. It only seems slow on the blacktop, but in the trails it’s fine.
Mine about the same on speend , and yes plenty of speed for the trails and having fun. If I lift mine I want to go with portals witch will be a while . I mite put 26s on it wen my original tires wear out . I appreciate you watching
Nice looking machine. Really like that color. I've got a 2017 700-4 Deluxe as well, with a 2" High Lifter lift kit and 15" MSA wheels on 28s. Great all around for family trail riding and putting it to work as well. I'm about to order those LED Bulbs you installed.
Did you ever have any problems with urs like transmission problems. Mine shut down the other day and would hardly run, didnt kno what gear it was in . It's been at the shop for 2 weeks now

They told me I had to purchase the 3 yr extended warranty and didn't have a choice and blamed it in covid . It was a lie and I called corporate about it and got my money back that I didn't want to spend! I repeat you do not have to purchase a extended warranty when purchasing a honda machine , it's a scam if they try it
Ordered my 700-4 in Jan21(Cooperstown,NY), delivery dates have changed a couple times, latest is 31July21... : ( It is the same color as yours(metallic brown), at this point, I will take any color, lol!! Great video!!

I'm a Honda guy always have been. I looked at a 700-2 and took a ride in it but I also rode a Defender HD7. I chose the HD7 it was cheaper and came with a roof and also has 52 hp. The ride was better also. It now has 1700 miles on it and it has been flawless. I think if Honda would give it another gear and make it quite they would sell more. You can barely here the HD7 running.

@@tommybryant3408 you must of got a Deluxe like me . I was wondering if there where other different changes. I'm not family with the older models. Nice I hope you enjoy it. Only use 10w30 oil when you change it , 10w40 is too heavy for the transmission and can cause problems, bot sure if it's the same in the older ones.

Your color looks awesome!! Thanks for the info on the LED headlight bulb replacements. I think the Rubicon has the same bulbs and that was one of the first things I want to replace. How are the new bulbs especially without the lightbar turned on? Would love to see a video of your lights at night. Thanks again and keep up the great videos 👍
That is the molasses brown and I'm going to abbeville this Saturday or Sunday and will get a riding video and show how the lights help, and yes the led head lights are 100% better than the halogen bulbs , brighter and reach further out
Great videos and thanks for the mods. One question for you. You talk about the window shield being crack open if not you get dusted out in the back seats. I have a mesh roof on my honda pioneer deluxe 700-4 with a honda tilt windshield but the kids still get a dusting back there. Almost like a back draft happening. I do live in the Pine Barrens ( nj ) so it is sandy here. But I'm trying everything to stop/slow it down so the backseat riders can enjoy.
Sorry for the late response, we went to boggs and bolders this weekend and had no service. The best situation I got it to not bring as much dust in was to have the windshield opened as much as I could with the extenders I put on. Probably no windshield would be best but then you have dust flying in so it's going to be a give and take situation. I purchased the wind nets that go on the back and two passenger doors in the rear but the nets mesh is not fine enough to keep dust out
Went riding tonight and had the kids in the back, shut the window cause it was a lil chilly and In came the dust . I'm going to figure something out and make a video .
Do you need to have a second battery set up when you add winch, light bar, accessories? I’ve heard on the 1000 you need the second battery or it can ruin the transmission but the electronic shifting when the voltage is low and only have one battery with all the accessories. Thanks didn’t know if this was the same with the 700 or it would be just fine with one battery set up
It’s a smart choice because they will have issues with low voltage and it’s better to add a second battery and nothing can be shorted out if on its own circuit
What is your opinion of the low end power with a full load, is it enough? Do you wish it had more power on the low end for mud or hills when fully loaded?
Definitely not , with me and my family loaded up riding it has plenty of power. But its currently in the shop with some issues unknown and I will have a video up soon about it
OK I found them on your Amazon link below, but do any of those fit the pioneer or do you have to have a specific part number when you order these from Amazon
@@NorthFloridaOutdoorsman oh no. ours only has about 110 miles on it. just did the first service on it. my hubbys schedule doesn't allow us much time to take ours out, but next month we will be able to put it through its paces.
It all depends in what state and if they have one in stock, I believe mine was around 14.5k plus charges and fees but it doesn't look like they offer a Deluxe in 2022
It's the brackets that came with the light bar, but I wouldn't mount it there cause I feel like it blocks air flow to the radiator. I actually moved it to the brush guard . There is a plastic scoop down there that forces air around radiator and move air under the hood.
@@SouthernFiremer awesome, one reasons I moved it to cause I felt like I could feel more heat coming into the cab , if you ride in cooler situations it mite not bother anything. I also pit a bead or clear silicone around the glass to make sure it stayed dry
Will it haul a family of four with two small kids on trails with enough power I've put a deposit down on one like this waiting for it to come in the dealership
I kno its not ment for it but i strap my 3yr old in her car seat in the middle of the back seat and my 6yr old and 10 yr old have plenty of room in the back seats . It will fit 4 comfortable . I use traps with ratcheting to harness her car seat in . It's safe and all of them are protected by role cage and all are buckled up
And yes plenty of power . The thing is a beast . Not the fastest but it's a family mans machine. Fast enough, safe and enough power to get you down the trail and some

@@NorthFloridaOutdoorsman just trying to get a straight answer some forms say you can some say no but my side rails are only about 16 inches tall but the trailer is 60in inside
Man I just got out of bed and found a tape measure and had to find out for ya , it's very close , I measured the rear wheel base and it's rite at 60in/5ft. It's going to be a tight fit, is the trailer rated for the weight? I kno it will cost more but you got to realize it's a investment on the trailer, so the right size trailer and the proper straps are important. Also safety for the ones in the vehicle towing it with you!
@@NorthFloridaOutdoorsman it's a 5 by 10 with 3500 lb axle I just redid it thinking it would fit I guess I could always sell and get bigger I was just more concerned getting it home from the dealer when we do get our 700. Some guys say they fit and some don't if you look online it says the wheelbase is 59.7 which would be tight but I would like that better because I don't carry anything else on my trailer since I have a long bed truck
Yeah man get it home and try to trade the trailer , I hope it works out. I think it should fit , worse case it doesn't go rent a uhaul trailer or huge box truck lol good luck man and thanks for watching

If you ever get a winch your going to have to move the light bar. That's right where the brackets go
When I install I'll adjust for it . Shouldn't be hard to squeeze it all in there lol thanks for watching

How tall is it? I have an 81 inch garage door opening and wondered if it fit with the hard top roof.
Not exactly sure , I’ve done added lift to mine . Check out Arizona kid I believe he did a video on height in his garage
The stock headlights work just fine lol...it's funny how picky people can be
You can also wipe with a pine cones , but ppl choose toilet paper!

@@koonnuts89 the paddle shifter is nice to kinda shift early and keep it smooth and quiet some sometimes but its not needed
