I'm 35 and I've had sticky out ears all my life. I've always been self conscious especially with my hair, I always have it cut short... I've never experimented having long hair because when I grow it I get to the point where it really doesn't suit me.
I have social anxiety because I'm worried what people think when they see me... when I walk down the street I tend to look elsewhere and not give eye contact.
Sorry I'm waffling on, I just wanted to say your video has inspired me to want to get pinnaplasty and start loving myself as a person so I can love others.

omgg we’ve got such a similar experience! I’m 24 too, I’ve always had massive ears and used to get teased at school but it only started to bother me when I went to secondary school. I’ve debated it for years and started using otostick, but with covid and luckily saving loads of money i’ve decided to go for the surgery! My operation is on Friday, so excited but nervous! I’m so worried it won’t look as dramatic as I want but also thinking anything is an improvement. I’ve been trying to find videos from the U.K. for ages and this was really helpful, you look amazing! thank you xx

Hey Jodie, thanks so much for watching this video! I found it so hard to find any information on Otoplasty when I was doing my research, so I’m glad you found it useful! How exciting, I was so nervous but it was honestly the best thing I’ve ever done, embrace the journey and it will all be worth it xxx

How do your ears feel now, do they feel natural compared before you had the surgery ?
Do they hold up, say if you were to wear sunglasses or if you flicker them or do you have to constantly be careful from here on out ?
Also did your hearing change or does everything sound the same ?
Thanks for the video. I appreciate you sharing your experience

Hey hunni, just a quick question, who was your surgeon in the private hospital down south? If you don’t mind. I have the same problem as you had, where it’s the bowl in the middle rather than just the top, your surgeon has done an amazing job!! You look amazing 💕

Wow, our stories are so similar. I've wanted it done since I was 14 and now I'm 20, almost 21! My ears also used to stick out as much as yours, and even with my hair down you could still see them. I never wore my hair up at all! And I tried otostick and loved it too. I've been saving up for the surgery for about 3 yrs now, and I had it done three days ago. So right now I've got a bandage on and it hurts. I'm binge watching these videos because I need a reminder that it's going to look great once its healed. Because right now I'm feeling a bit meh.

Oh wow, we literally have experienced the same thing!! It's really been the best thing I've done for my confidence. Once they are healed they will look incredible!! Let me know how you get on x

Can you see the stitches behind your ear? If someone was to examine the backs of your ears is it very noticeable that you’ve had this procedure done? I remember seeing someone I knew who had it done and it was very noticeable that they had been altered. Yours look great btw.

i was told by a doctor that the cartilage is not strong enough at the top or something that’s why only the middle part gets pinned

Hey hun, I wore contacts for the first month or so when I got the bandages removed, then I wore my glasses and just didn’t let them rest on the tops of my ears I had them a little higher, kind of slotted into my hair😘

@@laurapengellyy8894 okay thank you, I don’t have any contacts but I’ll try and slot them in my hair if I can like you said😅 thank you🥰xx
