- An idea I have been sitting on for a very long time. Finally got around to it after getting my new computer. Combining some old gameplay of myself sporting the Red Baron skin to Sabaton's song "The Red Baron". Editing wise I tried to make this one a bit more lively to match the song.

I'm not joking,there was some pilot in enemy team that literally destroyed every armored vehicle or airplane we had,he destroyed our team single handedly

I believe it. I've singlehandedly seen multiple pilots throughout the time I played BF1 who were absolute fucking monster in the air. If you even thought of getting into a plane, you were dead the second they got an eye on you.
Hah, I got around 600 hours on bf 1 and most of them were on planes. I love when I match against pilots of my skill level in constant dueling, very thrilling.
The spirit of Manfred Von Richthofen possessed that man and showed him true plane combat

That fact did cross my mind when I was making it, but I was using footage chronologically so I didn't really have a batter moment to use.
I just love that song and that plane! Even spitfire or Thunderbolt cant defeat that.

Ironically enough, it was it last flight. His mother actually managed to convinced the Kaiser to call her son back home. His trip back home was planned on the 22nd of April and he was killed on the 21st… he was 25.
Playing with fps while driving a plane is amazing

I love flying fighters in this game. Either I demolish the enemy flyers or they demolish me and there's never an in between.
Still tho, I love passing by teammates, gotta make it cinematic for them.

The red baron is supposed to only destroy the plane not the passenger ... sometimes you could have left the pilot alive ... I always do that and regularly crashes because the plane takes time to repair
That was something they put in the movie about him but the real Manfred Von Richthofen had no qualms about killing enemy pilots. In fact he encouraged his men to aim for the pilot because it was the surest way to kill them rather than just damaging their planes. He did however show some compassion, such as when he chose not to shoot down an enemy who's guns were jammed, I guess seeing it as unsporting to kill a helpless opponent.

Only issue I have is the guy flying the plane isn't doing what WW1 aces like the Baron did in combat, for one you're supposed to climb high enough to always be able to attack from above, for another you're supposed to get directly behind the the enemy pilot and be close enough to shoot said pilot rather than the plane, and also when you DO aim at the plane you target the engine.
