Tried this with my Cressi Quantum and it worked like a charm. I was removing the glasses for the purpose of giving them a thorough cleaning after a diving holiday. It is much more convenient to clean them outside the frame. You can even use chemicals like acetone which might damage other non-glass components of the mask. BTW: Also a first preparation of new lenses e.g. with toothpaste as shown in this video is much easier if you do it BEFORE inserting them into the frame :-)
True. You can clean up glasses before closing the mask. I highly recommend to do water test after mask assembly. Its very simply and helps to avoid leaking in case of wrong assembling.

It looks so easy! But try it for yourself and you will see that it´s quite a challenge! I couldn´t manage it!
Actually I did it few times and it works. If you need support let me know I will help you online.
If you've got Big Eye model, start to open it from the top
do exactly the same like quantum. I start from bottom then left and right side.
