From IMDb; Plot Summary: " Eva, a wealthy middle-aged woman, marries a man she barely knows and moves into his family estate, a dark, run-down mansion on the Massachusetts coast. She learns James was recently engaged to a young woman, but he dismisses it as an unimportant mistake. Investigating noises in the cellar, she finds the corpse of a young woman, half-buried in the coal pile. - Written by Jay Phelps.
Dear Suspense person: What a wonderful find. Lots of faults with the productions of course as you outlined in previous videos - especially he piercing, annoying music - but the actors - many rarely seen - are wonderful to see - in this case Arlene Francis, known on the stage and What's My Line, but not so much in the movies. Nice to see her. So - thanks!!!

Another good one, Arlene Francis looks so.different here , I barely recognized her. The darker hair really threw me off, shes so young here such a pretty lady. So Nice to see her in this The auto lite commercials were even good , I remember pushing a starter button on the car , boy things have changed . Thanks so much. Wow!!! That was really good!! I thought that the performances by both Arlene Francis and Lloyd Bridges were fantastic. The whole thing grabbed my attention and wouldn’t let go until the end.
