It is a small little space of roughly 33km/2. However, it's considered to be the most dense populated area in the world. With over 730k habitants and an influx of ~1.5 to 3 million tourists per month (pre-covid), let's just say Macau is a crowded little space. When the outbreak began, a woman was identified to have the crown illness in one of the casinos. In case you don't know, Macau is like the Las Vegas of Asia. It used to be crowded in these places. They evacuated the casino and tested everyone. Everyone else tested negative. Fast forward a month or 2, Macau was looking at no more than a handful of cases (if memory serves me well, we had a total of 10 cases, 0 deaths). After lockdowns (and remember, no treatment was available, scarce information about the crown illness was around either), we were able to stop new cases from developing. For over 18 months, we had zero new cases and zero deaths. During this period, the only "new" cases were from people traveling into Macau, and were tested positive at the airport and taken directly to the hospital so it's not really considered new cases as they were imported from overseas and never had contact with the general populace. A month or so ago, with some controlled travelling deals we had with mainland, people were able to travel there and back without quarantine and with a nucleic test 24h prior to travel. It was found that a family of 4 had contracted the crown illness a while after they had returned from their travel. The city panicked. The area where this family resides was closed off for 14 days. The gov mandated everyone in Macau to get tested. I went to get tested, and reports showed that 96% of the population were tested. The reports also showed that ZERO infections were identified. Ever since the outbreak, there were also cases of people escaping quarantine, with at least 3 people that I heard of escaped quarantine. One of the girls that escaped had gone to a crowded bar for drinks (yeah, she a dumbass, I know), but non-the-less, people did that. Now, Since you talked about looking at this logically, let's practice it. If it was indeed so much more contagious, would you not think that the most dense populated area in the world would have far greater infection cases given what I've just stated here? Also, Wuhan is pretty close to where I am, and we get a lot of tourists from that area pre-covid. In my opinion, countries with large number of infected and deaths boosted up their numbers on purpose. I mean, we have US health officials admitting that reports on death by covid didn't mean they died from covid. The larger the numbers a hospital would report, the more money they'd get. There's a myriad of reasons as to why a lot of countries falsely boosted their infection rates and death rates. But of course, everything in this sentence is mere opinion. Everything else written on this comment is just a logic exercise using what I've observed with my own 2 eyes.

You feel sick, you go to your doctor or hospital, they tell you to go home and take paracétamol, à few days later you feel terribly unwell and call the doctor, he checks your blood oxygen and he sends you to hospital as an emergency case and you end up one full week under an oxygen tent. So, I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. When I lost my taste and smell and had a low grade fever I knew I had the vid. I took the meds and within a few days I was back to normal. Oh, and I am immune compromised. When I was sick in February 2020 I took Zicam every two hours as prescribed, chicken soup and chicken broth, Vitamin C and D and REST, along with sunlight on my golf course I built on my front yard and plenty of water. I did this for 3 days and on the 4rth day was back to work. Everyone's different, and since then I have been perfectly fine without being vaccinated nor wearing a mask other than at work where it is required when face-to-face with a customer. I live in Macau, SAR. It is a small little space of roughly 33km/2. However, it's considered to be the most dense populated area in the world. With over 730k habitants and an influx of ~1.5 to 3 million tourists per month (pre-covid), let's just say Macau is a crowded little space. When the outbreak began, a woman was identified to have the crown illness in one of the casinos. In case you don't know, Macau is like the Las Vegas of Asia. It used to be crowded in these places. They evacuated the casino and tested everyone. Everyone else tested negative. Fast forward a month or 2, Macau was looking at no more than a handful of cases (if memory serves me well, we had a total of 10 cases, 0 deaths). After lockdowns (and remember, no treatment was available, scarce information about the crown illness was around either), we were able to stop new cases from developing. For over 18 months, we had zero new cases and zero deaths. During this period, the only "new" cases were from people traveling into Macau, and were tested positive at the airport and taken directly to the hospital so it's not really considered new cases as they were imported from overseas and never had contact with the general populace.
A month or so ago, with some controlled travelling deals we had with mainland, people were able to travel there and back without quarantine and with a nucleic test 24h prior to travel. It was found that a family of 4 had contracted the crown illness a while after they had returned from their travel. The city panicked. The area where this family resides was closed off for 14 days. The gov mandated everyone in Macau to get tested. I went to get tested, and reports showed that 96% of the population were tested. The reports also showed that ZERO infections were identified.
Ever since the outbreak, there were also cases of people escaping quarantine, with at least 3 people that I heard of escaped quarantine. One of the girls that escaped had gone to a crowded bar for drinks (yeah, she a dumbass, I know), but non-the-less, people did that.
Now, Since you talked about looking at this logically, let's practice it. If it was indeed so much more contagious, would you not think that the most dense populated area in the world would have far greater infection cases given what I've just stated here? Also, Wuhan is pretty close to where I am, and we get a lot of tourists from that area pre-covid.
In my opinion, countries with large number of infected and deaths boosted up their numbers on purpose. I mean, we have US health officials admitting that reports on death by covid didn't mean they died from covid. The larger the numbers a hospital would report, the more money they'd get. There's a myriad of reasons as to why a lot of countries falsely boosted their infection rates and death rates. But of course, everything in this sentence is mere opinion. Everything else written on this comment is just a logic exercise using what I've observed with my own 2 eyes.
Tell me if it is the same where you are (Australia?). You feel sick, you go to your doctor or hospital, they tell you to go home and take paracétamol, à few days later you feel terribly unwell and call the doctor, he checks your blood oxygen and he sends you to hospital as an emergency case and you end up one full week under an oxygen tent. Others will have died if they did not call for help. A simple oxymetre that costs €15 and you shove on a finger could have saved lives.

So, I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. When I lost my taste and smell and had a low grade fever I knew I had the vid. When I was sick in February 2020 I took Zicam every two hours as prescribed, chicken soup and chicken broth, Vitamin C and D and REST, along with sunlight on my golf course I built on my front yard and plenty of water. I did this for 3 days and on the 4rth day was back to work.
Everyone's different, and since then I have been perfectly fine without being vaccinated nor wearing a mask other than at work where it is required when face-to-face with a customer.
People need to be allowed to choose their own treatment, as what works for one person may or may not work for someone else, and not ostricized as either an idiot or unscientific for choosing their own path.

Here in Namibia, our government receive billions for this pandemic, but when people need oxygen, the providers refuse to sell anymore, because the government doesn't pay the bills. But they will receive more money as long as they just obey. Dr's are threatened by the government if they refuse the vaccine.

You should meet my father in law and his wife (a stepmom in law) and her son and his family - holy crap - beyond ridiculous. Can’t say I’ve seen much fear amongst any population which I’ve been a part of. We’ve been dealing with this thing for almost two years now and, with the exclusion of new variant strains, we have a fairly good idea about how it behaves and what measures are effective at combating it. Certainly people were fearful when it began- we didn’t know anything about it. How contagious is it? How does it spread? What’s the mortality rate? Can it be treated?
But as our knowledge and understanding grew, fear gave way to optimism, relief, and subdued impatience for a return to normality. You all talk about how “They” are using fear to control us because… well… I dunno… reasons? (And really dumb ones at that) Lets just say “nefarious purposes”. Yet this completely ignores the blindingly obvious reality that most people aren’t afraid. Sure, a few probably are, but not nearly enough to be able to say that it’s at all prevalent in any population outside of an ICU ward, so this narrative you’ve all invented isn’t even consistent with reality.
If we have anything to fear, it’s that the ignorance on display around here becomes pervasive and affects people outside of the proverbial shortbus that is the collective viewership of Sky News.

Why every single - not package - has to be registered. Including pacient name , doctor that prescribe it, and what was the illness.
