Great end to this series, honestly everything with Avdol eapecially was the best, and there are so many clever jokes throughout it's hard to pick just one moment. Great job man, really awesome stuff. :)
I think Araki just wanted to tell one more story with the Buccirati gang back when all of them were alive. That's the point of the Rolling Stones epilogue. Or at the very least also hone in the message about fate and destiny and all that shit and all actions in this series is basically predetermined. Ironically if Buccirati did get crushed by a rock while Diavolo would be still around, a lot of people wouldn't have died.
Yeah, it’s basically summing up the themes of part 5 with the revelation that the three of them were fated to die, but did not go quietly or with complacency. I really love the episode, it’s a great sendoff to them.
