I just got a sample of Club Black and it smelled nearly identical to Kayali Vanilla 28.
Thank u so much for doing this video!!!! Since I can’t get my hands on guerlain.. I had been thinking of getting Mercedes and wasn’t sure ❤

Yes !! I just smelled it the other day and it reminds me so much of SDV
I love the MBB, its smoky and boozy to me thats why i like it. I would like to try SDV but i would never spend that much on a vanilla since i am not crazy about the note but i do enjoy it. I feel angelique noir would be more for me.
Yes! There are two other perfumes that I find share a similar DNA, which are Silky Woods and Midnight Shimmer

I still kick myself that Le Couvent des Minimes used to be sold in Ulta and I never got the Cologne of the Missions. I did get a big bottle of Cologne of Love.

it was unmatched. I just stumbled upon it and fell in love, then went back to restock and it was gone. I think about it every few months 🥲

May I ask you what batch your Mercedes Benz Club Black is? Bought me a bottle a week ago and it lasts for around 2 hours
This is just out of my curiosity, but what would you do if your favorite perfumes were about to run out? Will you buy a new one after completely gone?
Back-up bottles are difficult because my favorites perfume changes my mood😂
Hmm...very rarely do I get backups. At the moment I don't think I have any, as it would still take more than a lifetime to finish the ones I already have :)
I have Mercedes Benz Black and SDV and don't see obvious similarities, but I don't have a refined nose. Plus I am noseblind to ambroxan so I'm not even sure I'm getting the "correct" smell of MBB. I enjoy both, though.
I see on fragrantica,some people says this similars to Vanilla28 and Casablanca. What do u think 🤔

Maybe more similar to Vanilla 28, but definitely very different than Casablanca
@@elizabethokoro285it is not really similar to Raghba, which I find to be more of a sweet ambery fragrance. My bottle of Mercedes Benz Club Black is also lighter in projection/performance than Raghba, but is more of a Vanilla. Closer to Vanilla 28 - but I pick up more florals in the Kayali for sure, where I don't in Club Black. Both somewhat Similar, but for a vanilla lover - not too similar at all. I suppose both of these vanillas are good for close encounters because neither are strong projectors. Can be worn to work most likely and not offend*... IMO Mercedes isn't worth the money. Save the $45-50 and buy a better quality vanilla. I even love Zara Supreme Vanilla, and that costs less too. Hypnotic Vanilla is a nice one as well, if you like an almondy-vanilla. And Starlight for a more powdery vanilla. I didn't love the 4th one and got rid of it because the performance was very poor on me. Hope this helps ♡ It appears Zara is having a sale tonight too at 8pm

Good dupe for spiritueuse double vanille is cuir de nuit from yves rocher. Reaaallyyy good and long lasting and CHEAP !!!

I think the Mercedes fragrance smells very close to Cologne of The Missions, especially in the late stage dry down on skin.
On the initial spray and lasting to about the mid dry down period, the Mercedes smells like Cologne of The Missions sprayed on a hot copper penny to me, due to the addition of ambroxan. (The ambroxan also gives MBB a more masculine edge than CoTM).
I prefer CoTM and my husband prefers MBB, although he really does enjoy the CoTM too. So I would recommend the CoTM as the better unisex choice (unless a woman particularly enjoys perfumes with ambroxan).
Two other fragrance I have come across that are very much in a similar vein to CoTM, are Perle Pour Elle, by Pascal Morabito, and Police Dark Woman, by Police. The Perle Pour Elle is the most similar, just a touch less rich. The Police fragrance is the same type of vanilla but with a distinct iris note. Both fantastic fragrances and if they can be sourced, they are absolute bargains.

I did wonder if the Police Dark Woman was too feminine leaning, due to the iris note, but I just asked my husband to spray some on and he thinks it smells unisex.
Definitely worth checking out, if the Pascal Morabito one is not available anywhere.
