This is a second personal mix. I have tried to create a space themed mix of metal instrumentals. The original length of this mix was 3 hours long but due to copyright claims I had to remove 2 instrumentals (e.g. These Grey Heavens by Omnium Gatherum).
Disclaimer: I am not the author of any of the used songs. I do not pretend or claim the ownership of any of the used instrumentals. I am just a fan of all these songs.
There are a couple of tracks for which I could not find the original author anymore. If you know their names or the names of the tracks, please let me know and I will update the time stamps accordingly.
Also, there are some visual artifacts in some scenes (visible square lines, limits of a composition, etc.). I am aware of them but the rendering time is too high to go back and fix those scenes 😞.

At minute 56:45, I accidentally heard an instrument that was familiar to my ears. This happened approximately 7 years ago when I was listening to this instrumental piece. The song in question is 'Death's Hand' by The Amity Affliction.

What's the editing software/program used for the space visuals?
I've used After Effects in both this one and the other. To be fair, many of the scenes here were composed using projects created by others, what I did was to search for space projects and then I altered their properties based on each and every song.

There're some fantastic songs in here, but waaay too many silent/quiet parts that bring down the experience, at least for me. Makes it especially hard to listen to when you need to block out other noises around you with headphones. Still an awesome playlist, though.
That's intentional, the original composition was full of tracks that had no silent parts, and although I like every song from that version, it gave me some headaches after 1-1.5 hours, and I wanted to avoid that. But your feedback is noted, I'll see if I can do it without the headache part in the next mix.
