I think Rowley meant a different place a couple steps close to the hubba in staples center, if you have played Skater XL LA map, you can kinda figure out what is it. Or it could be, but damm gnarly asf both spots.
This is an ode to skateboarding itself. The song and the tricks matched perfectly. It is undeniable that this part will go down as a true classic. Dane Burman always delivers!
Yea he’s been talking about that rail forever. And he told a few other people about it too. Dane is just the only one who is gnarly enough to step to it.
@Not Mick Blotters it’s not getting onto the rail that’s hard. It’s the rail itself, it’s aluminum which means grinding it is gonna be extremely tough. Not to mention that you’re grinding a 15 stair straight into a concrete slab that shoots you out like a missile. Not saying Clive couldn’t do it but it takes a seriously fucked up person to do this and Dane fits the bills

I wish I wasn't so sore and achy, and didn't have a mortgage to worry about. That all keeps me from still taking skating to the limit, like I used to love. Now I just cruise around bowls, and do 360 flips here and there. Man. Those were the days. Skating will always be in my soul and in my heart.

But also, we are just now entering soty season so maybe someone will come out of nowhere and surprise everyone. But I don’t think this part is that surprise.
I'd say Mason Silva has got it unless something crazy comes out. Dane ripped in this no doubt but 3 heavy video parts(Huf, Real, Nike SB) have me convinced Mason has it.
Good part but it doesn’t beat everything that mason Silva has put out this year. I would also say Clives part and Jon dicksons part was better then this. Basically there’s too many contenders
Kind of a shame, actually. If it wasn't so overwrought and pretentious, it might not distract so much from the incredible skating. Yeah, the tricks were wild, but he also did them with insane style.
We need to discuss that roof top 3 flip attempt.
It would have been sick. They probably included it cause all the other clips were on handrails & the part seemed really boring.
Looks like he tried once, almost died, and went "that's the clip!" and left
Yeah wtf who puts slams in a part and doesn’t do them? Rest of the part was sick
Wait for the raw files :)
I literally jumped to my feet on that clip lol
One of the sickest parts I've seen in a while. Im 45 years old and feel gnarly when I ollie down 4 stairs. I love skating.
That’s all that matters, doesn’t matter if you’re charging a four set or a twelve. It’s all about the feeling of being alive.
hell yeah bro i love that

Keep it up man! Never stop !
Right there with you! I’m 46 and while I can’t hit up stairs anymore, skating a mini or a box makes me feel alive...
I think we can all agree this is the gnarliest rail/roof gap part this year.

Hey Nick!
he had 3 mins of rail enders
This is an ode to skateboarding itself. The song and the tricks matched perfectly. It is undeniable that this part will go down as a true classic. Dane Burman always delivers!
Wow Geoff Rowley was just on 9 club podcast talking about the rail into the ledge at staples and told Dane to go do it. Guess he did.
