Kids usually apologize when parents treat them badly because they automatically assume it's their fault. They think that their parents are supposed to be kind to them, so if they aren't then it means that they must've done something wrong.

This episode is very heavy and very difficult for both the characters I like how in the beginning right here 6:05 sun is very calm and he seems concerned and reassurance dazzle. He would never be mad at her and his tone of voice when he says “why would I be made at you dazzle no 😕” once she starts explaining it’s clear that everything basically clicks for son as he realizes it was 16 July here 11:34 when sun says “I wasn’t myself”
And follows up with here Saying 11:52 “but that’s not an excuse” shows that he still feels guilty as if he was the one who did the deed and harmed all the kids and feels remorse for what happened. It’s also very sweet seeing that he remembers all the kids names
12:54 and when dazzle remembers her name, he comments with 13:14 “that’s a beautiful name dazzle” it’s very sweet and it shows that he does remember her and how beautiful her name was, but it also shows that he does think she deserves to be a little girl 14:12 also like how when dazzle asks if they’re going to be best friends still he doesn’t push her away or say that it’s not healthy for them to be friends instead he just responds with 14:47 “we are gonna be the bestest of friends” I like how they give each other a big hug 15:15 finally at the end I like how promises to make it up to her in anyway he can even though he knows it’s gonna be really hard and that he can’t just bring her back to life as much as he wants to 16:51 “I’m gonna make this right as much as I possibly can” overall the episode was really good and it shows that even if sun has been trying to get past that day, it still haunts him and he still feels terrible about what happened

Guys it’s July 16th. I was so shocked to hear about dazzle but at the same time I wasn’t. I kind of suspected this. Sun having to hear about this is so heartbreaking and the fact that dazzle doesn’t know any better just makes it worse. She was just saying I’m sorry, I’m sorry but sun is saying is okay and taking accountability even if it wasn’t his fault but he feels it’s his fault cause he couldn’t stop it. He’s naming all the children and Dazzle remembers her name is a little heartwarming but it’s also sad. By the way she speaks about it she must had been very, very young. Sun is just trying to not break down into front of her and reassuring her it’s alright. He has so much kept in trauma I wish I could just make it alright and give him the biggest hug ever. Same with dazzle.
