    Hey, no worries. I've mixed A and A together before.. I drained it into a silicone measuring cup, poured half into another cup, and mixed in the proper amount of part B for both. Granted, I had an odd mix of colors, but I was making a geode anyway, so it was not too bad.

Oops, part A and part A? Good experiment lol. That looks like a pain to clean🙈. Step by step is helpful for a newbie like me. I'm definitely trying mirror card too. Stunning effects😍 gorgeous. It will never not crack me up as a Jew that manufacturers add the Star of David into witchy/Halloween themed stuff 😂 every time my brothers and I see it we’ll turn to each other and go ‘oooooh spoOoOky the jeEeWs~’
    no shade to Claire AT ALL what you made, Claire, was stunning and you’re making what you’ve got it’s definitely just a laugh at manufacturers thinking ‘weird star? Meh - Probs witchy’ 😂😂

      Hi Claire I missed you live my boys were fighting by the time they stopped you had finished lol. Our halloween colours are orange purple and black. Much like our every day one's 😆 My favourite is the triquetra knot and of course the pentagram. The mirror effect is awesome reminds me of the pentagram shelving you buy with the mirror behind it (i got one without the mirror hard to clean) 😂😂

    Hey there, love these...was thinking to save the mica powder moving, could you mix the resin and mica together to get your metallic look, then just wait for it to be poked and prodded? Or would you not get the same effect? Let me know. I'm new to resin crafting, been enjoying your videos! 🎃🎃🎃

  • @APOKreations
    @APOKreations 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    These are so cool!! Maybe if you put a light coat of UV over that floating powder it might keep it from getting the powder floating into the resin 🤷‍♀️But they’re all beautiful and I love the hammered metal

    Uggggh Claire, that must have been so frustrating! My friend once painted a bunch of rocks with her son. She then covered them with resin to seal them in. They did about 30 of them. A few days later she asked me why they were all still sticky…. She didn’t know it was a two part resin and only glazed them with part A.
    Her son had worked so hard on the rocks that she cleaned them all off!

    Thank you for leaving in the goof up! I'll probably do that when I start....
    So what kind of videos for me? I want to make resin crafts but haven't started yet so I like lots of details. But I won't be mad if you skip every once in a while for your other viewers.

  • @AuroraDragonDesigns
    @AuroraDragonDesigns 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Wow, I'm impressed that you took the time and effort to clean out the mold after that. I'm pretty sure I would have tossed it and ordered a new one 😂. I love the mirror idea. I have only seen one other channel use it. Her channel is Lia Dia. She used it in coasters, then did freehand drawing with Pebeo Cerne Relief to create a stain glass effect. BTW - Mehron metallic powder - silver is great for creating a metal looking surface.

  • @lintball8379
    @lintball8379 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If your resin doesn't cure, cover it and put the mold in the freezer for about 45 mins. The resin will freeze and you can quickly pop it out of the mold. I found this out when i was sent 2 bottles of part B. As long as its frozen, it comes out clean from the mold.

    Well done,when things go wrong You start again or you break the rules and create brand new ideas like a battered metal effect,without the aid of a mould.These turned out beautiful.I love the new idea and it has added much more depth to the look of them than a flat surface.I love these,they are gorgeous and the sparkles are really luxurious and really finish the pendants off beautifully .🥰

  • @alexrusso6503
    @alexrusso6503 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Ive been watching you for a bit now and i think your normal format (ie your last year of posts or so) balance between step by step and just doing is perfect. There are tutorials out there if someone really wants to learn but the best way is to just watch and watch many different vidoes and creators to learn any craft.
    Your current balance is perfect bc it educates just enough to be a basic guide with tips but not so much that someone who knows the craft cant just watch and enjoy the art!
    I really hope you dont change. Or if you really wanna educate viewers with step by step videos make seperate guide videos of beginner friendly crafts where you do that and treat the rest how you normally would! I dont think it has to be so black or white embrace the grey areas and most importantly just keep doing what you do!
