Vespa 400 race engine comes to life

We are building a engine for the Vespa 400 race car. Here it is being run on our test stand. Still working on getting the jetting worked out on carb. You will notice the fan housing as well as the generator have been removed. The car will run without these items being on the engine. An electric fan will be installed to cool the engine.

i was thinking of running a 400 with a cbr 1000l africa twin from honda or a triumph thruxton 1200r bike engine do you think either of these would fit the both make a little over 90 horsepower and with a small turbo or supercharger would make a great fit
