My family moved from Florida back in 1967 and I grew up in Echo Park and Silver Lake Area. In my days, it was a different time and properties were more affordable and it was a working class/middle class neighborhood. A lot has changed, but it is still very familiar to me. I enjoyed your video very much it brought back a lot of good memories of my childhood, teenage years and early adulthood. Good Times when things were more simple and life was easier. Nowadays, things are other of reach for most people and getting worse. It is more difficult to get ahead, I wish all the younger generations the best of luck and my the Lord God Bless you and guide you on your path in life. Thank you for a great video!
I lived here in the late 70s early 80s....very beautiful old houses there....sure a lot more expensive now....I use to love walking in the evenings and looking at them....
At 13:20, you'll see the home my Grandfather built for my Great-Aunt in 1934. He also built a few more larger Spanish style homes in the area in the late 1920's.
It's pretty amazing what some of these driving videos capture that often go unnoticed. That driver is not the kind of driver you ever want behind you. Tailgated plus flew through a stop sign.
