- Together with the Governor of Lamu County Hon. Issa Timamy we are delighted to invite you all to the annual Lamu cultural festival that shall take place in Lamu County from 30th November- 2nd December 2023.
The Lamu cultural festival is a celebration of both the past, present and future. Also acknowledge the beliefs and traditions that are the heart and soul of the communities living in Lamu. The purpose of the festival is to promote the Swahili heritage and preserve the islands local culture. A visit to the island during the Lamu Cultural Festival is a chance to experience Lamu life at its most exuberant and joyous.
