How about pumping from backside thru the annulus while making connect ? This will force the influx to stay at it is level and preventing getting more influx
How about we continue our pumping until we space out and set the slip. And break tds for new connection which will not allow a swab below the bit. Will this not be a good practice to develop
If you are flowing with high flow rate and having high pressure in the string while you set in slip, you might damage the pipe. But usually i suggest driller to drop down the rate to 100gpm with standpipe pressure around 100 to 200 psi and set in slip to reduce the swab effect.
