@@wctksoul Agreed. I think the preferred band has alot to do with the age of the person because at 41 now, while I still love Mudvayne, I prefer Hellyeah. The last couple albums have had some heavier stuff than the early Hellyeah, but still mixed with other songs that can be enjoyed without wanting to be in the pit while listening to them. And seeing Hellyeah last year was one of the best shows I've attended in all these years, and now that we lost Vinnie I'm damn glad I went. I saw him with Pantera in 96 and then again last year. When Hellyeah rolls back into town August 13th of this year I'll be there without question, even though it simply won't be the same without Vin. Still, I hope Chad stays with Hellyeah, unless he decides to do a one off with Mudvayne again but not permanently.
As much as I love Mudvayne, it was a great way for him to find his voice and after all the records and tours, his time with the experimental prog like sounds in Mudvayne was done for him. He wants something more grounded and pure metal, which I have grown to love. Didn't really like the Self titled album when it came out, but Stampede won me over. Once I heard stuff from Blood for Blood, I was then a fan. Still not big on their first album though.
