All of history shows government never secede its power and the citizens suffer everytime. AI and digital dollars will create an environment of control. CBDC is the purest fiat in all of history. Manipulation in real time, anonymity is gone, track trace and turn off. Black market here we come but Marxists governments are voracious at ending all freedoms including growing your own food. It’s an ideology of power consolidation for them the globalists not us we the people. Pain is coming and it makes me sad even half of AMERIKA seems to welcome it.

One thing is limiting the freedom of choice. But how is one to trust the government with such decisions when the same government cannot even protect the personal data of taxpayers within its own system? Luckily this country is grey on the map, but I doubt it will catch up by the time they decide to implement the CBDCs.

I heard about CBDCs the other day...and it made me question why some countries want digital currency all of a sudden. You just answered it, and beautifully, at that. Control. It's all about control, and who has it. The last thing 'the powers that be' want is for us to feel like we control our own lives. Turn that on it's side, and ultimately, you realize the powers that be are afraid we'll all wake up, and not want to play their game anymore.

until the people have the power to take away funds from the government when they're doing the wrong thing, the people won't have power at all. Objectively, he is the worst thing in Canada's history. No other PM has ever been found guilty of an ethics violation and he has been found guilty of two, and should have been found guilty of at least half a dozen more if people looked into it. However, the ethics committee is apparently just theatre to make us think our government is held accountable, as nothing happened to him. Then there is the massive debt mister "the budget will just balance itself" and "I don't think about fiscal policy" has run up. He has also been nothing but an embarrassment every time he is on the world stage. Finally people are starting to see who he truly is.
And, yes, CO2 driven climate change is a lie. Just search atmospheric absorption and you will see CO2 has pretty much maxed out the bands of radiation it absorbs, so adding more will have negligible effects. And it has always been this way.

Did they require licensing and do they pay taxes like regular businesses? Or are they essentially black markets? I agree 100% that something new has to be created. Uniting against tyranny is good. But it requires a general consensus about the basics of what you want. It requires organization. It requires that free markets don't give you a pass for paying your share of infrastructure everybody uses through taxes. To me, it's always about following the money and making sure that you gain from the money you pay into taxation. It's not about socialism for the rich.

Ironically the "totalitarian" governments of the "far right-wing extremists" *1, managed to somehow start opening the commerce, because after all, they just want money and are kind of not playing along the game anymore.
There won't be more mandates, they are expiring, we still have some semblance of the law structures we had in 2019, we just need to use them and press hard to lift this bullshit. Enough is Enough ! Just fucking don't vote for the left and you are fine.
The politicians here are super afraid of another trucker revolt, they will play along and let business open and stay open. (too bad it didn't work for Canada)
*1 (all the right are far right extremists, but they never changed their position, its the left that went so far it became retarded, the "far right" is less close to totalitarian that the "normal left", to be fair, we don't want any far extremism in any side).

I think this could easily start in the United States by the government offering welfare payments and also a universal income is a digital currency. Then they could start dictating what these funds are used for and how they are to be spent. The recipients would quickly accept this because it is free money. Once it’s become acceptable and common place it would be easier for the government to implement this process widespread.

I came here to say this.
UBI under the auspices of social security/unemployment benefit payments. There might even be a "bonus" to being in the CBDC group - you get twice as much coupon than you might have have otherwise as a conventional currency transfer. Only the determined or paranoid would care to choose (if the choice exists!)
In the UK, a large chunk of social security payments are paid to commercial landlords as rent. Could CBDC be a way for the state to encouraging acceptance from the other end of system? Source and sink - is that the right term?
Is this a way for the state to further extract economic value from real estate?
Currently value is tied up in real estate, yet £million valuations do not benefit the state. Except for occasional taxation on sale and smaller payments, in the eyes of the government property is an untapped potential.

A few states in the US are trying to get a digital ID accepted by the public. This is eventually mean using that ID to log in to internet, book a car rental or hotel, enter an establishment serving alcohol, book camping on federal land, vote, pay for snacks or anything else, access health data, and more.
It is called a digital enclosure or geofencing. I call it the digital wall.
A few countries already have this partly set up: Sweden, India, and partly France.

    • @54tisfaction
      @54tisfaction 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

That's not really how it works... Digital ID is used just like normal ID. And in Sweden everyone has ID, a bank account, and a credit card tied to that bank account. Therefore, most people don't use cash anymore, using a card is so much easier, and discourages robberies. So if you're buying snacks you might have to enter your PIN for the credit card instead of showing ID, or you might have set a limit that allows smaller purchases without constant PIN entering (it might trigger a random PIN entering though). If you're buying something expensive like car rental or hotel rooms, of course you want the seller to demand ID. Or anyone could use your money to pay for things or get you in debt.
No one "logs in" to the Internet, you pay your provider a monthly subscription for broadband to your residence.
Of course an establishment may demand ID from customers when entering or stepping up to the bar, it is illegal to serve people who are underage.
Anyone can camp on federal land, or private land for that matter. In Sweden you have the "Allemansrätt", sort of "fair use regulated by common sense" for campers...
Of course you have to show ID when voting, how else would the ballot officials be able to check you off the voter list?
And using digital ID to get access to my own health data is super useful, as i can access it online while no one else can.

The trouble with refusing to use the new CBDCs is that they will almost certainly be incentivised through better interest rates or convenience so you'll be a lone cash user against a tide of conformity. I've been almost exclusively using physical cash for about three years now but in my country of UK it's becoming harder and harder. Supermarkets are closing down cash tills so you have to wait in line longer, some businesses refuse cash entirely. Most people just do what's most convenient (and why wouldn't they?). This is how it happens. Unless there's more information like this and it gets mainstream traction, I'm not hopeful. But I do my best to try and hold on to my right to privacy and financial freedom.

The delegated POS model creates checks and balances for this.

Great video Sorelle, very informative but a tad scary as well ! I live in the UK and this is the first I have heard of these "CBDC's". I recently read about the Chinese and how they are rewarding people for being positive about the Government and punishing people for being negative. Strange thing is, this has already been explored back in 2016 by the TV show "Black Mirror", episode "Nosedive" where people can rate each other from one to five stars for every interaction they have, which can impact their socioeconomic status, sounds familiar ? Give it a try, if you haven't already. Keep up the good work 🙂

Thanks for this video. In these insane times it's become abundantly clear that we need less, not more government moving into the future

Thanks so much for making these videos. I really like your speaking style, the visuals, etc. I have a lot of ignorance and fear about money. Tuning into your videos is a blessing. I am glad you are tackling these difficult subjects.

Sorelle you always impress me with your grounded way of explaining the topics and I absolutely love that you added the solution to the video! Too often I see videos of people warning for a possible future - and while that is absolutely important to keep people aware- It makes me feel way helpless if I don’t know what I can do to stop the issue from progressing !
You’ve done it again Sorelle ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your video, I have been thinking ahead and keeps leading me to the same things you have mentioned. The only thing that crosses my mind is, if people are not able to opt out of CBDC's, people will only be paid in CBDC's such as government employees, and people will not be allowed to exchange their CBDC's to crypto.

Yes, my thoughts as well: employers would only pay in cbdc.. businesses would only accept cbdc (just like they all caved to the 2020 hype and false interventions..)

Private ownership is gone. Crypto is going to be so regulated that it might as well be cbdc. The currency or money has to be in our hands for us to keep our financial freedom.

They can regulate all they want but the key here is that decentralised crypto that moves within defi is out of governments controll.
