I saw them open for the Red Hot Chili Peppers around this same time and they were amazing! It made me a fan again of the foos.
This live version of I’ll Stick Around is the best version of it. Such an underrated song. Dave’s energy and performance is other worldly in this

That "Stacked Actors" song was killer. Love the energy of this show; the crowd definitely got their money's worth.
I love the chemistry. Usually when they stop right before they kick into breakout the crowd will sing it. But since they didn’t sing it they knew to play the full chorus

I'll Stick Around is one of my top fav's of all time. The ending verse section is killer.
What a great performance from a great band. One thing I love about Dave is he's so funny. If I stood face to face with him, I'd probably fall to the ground laughing.

This is the Foo Fighters,the addition of Pat and Rami where great but without any one of these four guys it’s no longer Foo Fighters…thanks for posting this show..it really brought me back to when playing music really excited me…I’m in my late ‘50’s now and having a pain free day and taking a good poop is what makes me happy now.#gettingoldsucks

This is honestly my fave lineup! Ben, Taylor + Chris backing Dave without all the extra players. Lean and ferocious. And they made better albums back then, too.

Foo Fighters were my first ever concert in Boston for the Wasted Light tour. I was 15 :)

I seen them on the MTV tour with the Chili Peppers in Little Rock Arkansas. Respect was given from I that night, they were intense. God bless them. Losing Taylor is such a huge loss. Dave's been through this loss before. I hate this! Love each other. Be thankful for one another! We only have now. Now passes really fast.✌

@@jamesmunkey3017 There was another concert on MTV back in the days when Dave used the acrylic guitar and poured water all over himself and the guitar, and it stopped working. He sung This is a call without a guitar, basically in the front row of the audience. Just killer!
The energy as a four piece back in the 90s and early 2000s was pure and I miss that too. But, granted that I am not the same person as back in the 90s, I can't blame them for changing. I mean, it would be ridiculous if they would be the same. Back then it was an era of post grunge / alternative rock music all over the place. In the charts as well as in TV, festivals, radio.

Most bands after playing the same songs a gillion times tend to play them way sped up live. This set almost seems slowed down a tad. That is really respectful to the audience.

My first festival experience had foo fighters on their first album tour. Completely different lineup but we were only there for dave and those first songs he wrote anyway.

First thing I did when I got into my car this morning to go to work was, I put this video on full volume. A few minutes into my drive, I was at a red light and I rolled the window down to get some fresh air. The next thing I know I glanced up from the window and there was a hawk overhead flying towards me. Right there I lost it and began to cry. Taylor rest in power. 💔🕊🥁
