Perhaps the gap means a higher percentage than normal know the words, but considering the fans who would know the new songs either way will be the fans near the front either way, and thus the fans that the band can hear, there wouldn't actually be much of a difference?
I'm 65 only, sitting in lockdown in the philippines as a retiree and have a lot of time to listen good music. We both grew up in the best decades of rock music, but i was always open for new music of other generations. Right before this video i've watched the concert of the Foo Fighters in Glastonbury 2017. I remember an Album by Ian Andersons "Jethro Tull", titeled "Too old for rock and roll to young to die". Holy crap, I can't be too old for rock and roll... I am rock and roll until to my last breath. But you're right, that's really fu**in good stuff here.

I learned of the band yesterday from watching Simon on That Pedal Show. He was talking about his gear and came across as a really great person. He said, I would rather be 100 people’s favorite band than be a million people’s 10 favorite band. I can see why so many people adore Biffy Clyro. That was an amazing concert!
Ditto, I was aware of them and had listened to a couple of albums but this something else. I have a friend at work who raves about them and can now see why. Bloody nice bloke too!

Then I sat in the street to listen the group that was playing in that moment, and it was like falling in love, a complete conexion since the first song. I can't understand why this group doesn't get the credit and the audience they deserve. They are just fucking amazing. The best band I have listened in the last years.
I watched them 1st time as opening for Foo Fighters back in 2011. I hadn't heard a song but they completely blew me away. One of the best live acts ever.
I keep coming back to watch this gig again and again and again... one of their best thanks to the amazing crowd! I love watching them jump, sing and simply adore the band!
I'm 16 now. and I've loved this band since I was like 9. I saw them live a couple times and being younger, I didn't really like the loud screaming croud, but now, if I could I would go back and put my energy and soul into screaming their songs. especially All The Way Down, it gives me chills and goosebumps when I hear that guitar almost shrieking. I love it, I will love this band forever more and tell my kids about the excellence that is Biffy Clyro

That ending needs to be recognised as one of the greatest live moments in modern music. That was incredible! Nobody could do that apart from Biffy Clyro! I saw them about a year after this show and it was basically the same set. Easily one of the greatest nights of my life
When I went to see them playing live back in 2014, it was because of Mike Vennart and Richard Gambler. What a good fucking decision it was, now Biffy Clyro are one of my top 10, maybe 5, bands ever. I hope they get booked to play at Lollapalooza Chile 2020!!!
Could listen to this band all day. Considering Simon never use to like performing 'folding stars' as it's about his deceased mother he must get such a buzz off the crowd when they sing it that loud with such passion for him. Great way to remember his mother for him

The ending to this gig was one of the greatest moments of my life, a massive group of complete strangers sitting down on the ground in the pissing rain rowing to the beat of stinging belle. Can't beat it.
I had the great privilege of seeing Biffy live in 2017 at the Fillmore in SF. Sad that the crowd was so dead and although I felt bad for the band that night, I rocked the hell out singing word for word to just about every song and was one of maybe 5 other people to do the same.
It was like that at Mr Smalls in Pittsburgh too but you could tell the lads were also having a really good time. I think it would be like going back to the early days when they were starting and playing to small audiences. They stayed humble and played phenomenally
@@paw2086 I think they are all pretty humble dudes and are also showmen. They understand people spend their hard earned money and time on going to watch them play, so regardless of the crowd, they are professionals through and through. And one great fucking band.

Never heard of these guys here in Canada but I'm quite impressed to say the least. In a world of autotuned horse shit and mainstream music imo at it's absolute worst it is a nice surprise to see people actually playing instruments, getting the crowd going and rockin the hell out of it. Cheers Scotland, you've got a great band here.

The intro to Living is a problem... It's hard to explain how hard it is to practise and absolute nail that, once it's in the head it's in but the BALLS to even put it into a song and then perform it live and do it so cleanly. Biffy constantly challenges themselves and I love that in a band.
Really late comment but fuck yeah getting the timing on those string beats is near impossible mega props to simon for being able to consistently do thta and mega props to anyone else who has managed to nail it!
I was so glad to have watched them perform live at the Fillmore in SF a few years back. I felt bad that the crowd wasn't really giving back much energy, but Biffy were in proper form. This performance however, man it's just so good. I think I've watched this in full about 10 times. Just an amazing band in studio and LIVE.
Remember seeing no such thing as a jaggy snake and having no idea what song it was. Actually hearing that song live for the first time ever was one of the weirdest but best experiences ever.
This band nothing like queen or coldplay. For starters queen and coldplay are nothing alike 😂🙈 they are all amazing tho unique in there own brilliant ways would never class them as alike, but just my opinion I could be wrong
@@danash8067 naturally, those bands do not have a lot in common with regards to how they sound. What I meant was that all of them toy with the idea of getting all the members to sing, which for me is great. Just see Queen's "Bohemian rhapsody", Coldplay's "Fix you" and Biffy's "57".

I seen the exact set in belfast 2016 and it's still by far the best concert to this day I've ever been to.
