2008-2011 best times of old Metin2, good memories. But since 2011-2012 it lost its charm, a lot of casual people quit the game, majority of players who stayed were mostly egoistic toxic tryharders. It was never the same experience and sadly it will never be again, which was shown by private servers which tried to imitate these 2008-2011 metin2 in recent years. MMORPG died, trends have changed.
@@nickzx1082 because on metin2 release he used fotage from modern metin2. lvlv 90/120 armor and weapons, level indicator, special mount horses etc. It should have been lvl 1-75 gear, with 3 type fo hrose (no store mount with no level or horse mounting ability) , pets, dragon stone etc
From 2008-2019 i spent my whole life playing Metin2 and i don't regret spending all that time on such a great game the thing about metin2 that no other game can beat is the PVP style and the building of items and abilities in order to target a specific character
Would you really say that the pvp combat was so refined? For me it was mor or less just mashing buttons (with exception for the stun attacks). Rwally loved this game No hate
oh god the music. It hit right onto the nostalgia. i am almost dying ... i miss metin2 the gameplay was unique There is no "easy/relaxed" Beat them all/Musou MMO out there except for Metin2. (BDO is too technical and more about small pack => next small pack) in metin2 you can (and it still fun) pull the entire map (demon tower, spider cave etc) But saldy for me the game died when they implemented update without testing. Allowing lvl 30-42 twink to curbstomp up to lvl 80/90. Too many "you better keep playing" strong mechanics (timed pets) tied to RNG. and so many enw things eddit: sadly your video fail in the very thing you aimed to do: show change. the progressive change from release up to 2015. added dragon stone, scarfs, pets, lvl 80-90 zone, with ease of access to item lvl 75. then lvl 100 , then 110 content etc, you simply used a 2015 state with lvl 105 character. a shame really, it could have a been a great video

The footage from 5:10 labelled as Metin 3 is actually M2M (Mt2Mester is the full name in Hungarian) a Hungarian Metin 2 private server that started changing maps and some gameplay to not get copyrighted or something similar was the story back then.
This song brings me back to the early 2010s when I used to play Metin2 with my friends... So many adventures, trades, challenges, achievements and struggles we had... I miss those days, when I was a teen and I couldn't wait to go back home and play with my friends... We had so much fun...
Used to play this when i was young, i had so much fun playing it that i kept coming back every year and play for a week or so then come back the next year. I now finally decided to play it for a longer time and it feels so good

I'm 15 years old I started playing this game in 2020 And I liked it I played lots of MMO's but Metin2 had something unique(not the real money shop) It has a pretty decent community(yeah I met scammers but not too often)the people playing Metin2 these days are not toxic( 90% of the time) unlike other games I played *cough* fortnite *cough* Metin2 has also an interesting story The gameplay it's basic but satisfying when you catch the drill The progression system is a bit slow but for me it's perfect cause it teached me how to be more patient The Blacksmith is the only thing I hate about the game but it makes the game more challenging and adds to the replay value(even tho it's kinda frustrating) The game is hated because it's pay2win( I haven't spent one penny in this game and I still had fun) it has ps2 graphics( notice that this game came out in 2004 right? And if they remaster this game it will be completely broken cause it's hard to port an old game to a newer engine) So yeah that's my opinion on Metin2 I give it a 7/10

this was my first mmo in 2019... shit was hard being a blade ninja in meang uk server jinno kingdom.. but so much memories struggling to climb... to make money... to grind... this game was about the journey and not just the destination.. it was uber hard but it had something alot of these new mmos lacking...
the thing with metin2 is that it is simple and straight forward, you dont have shitload maps, shitload skills, stats and not even able to know where to start from, you level up, gear up, level up skills and proced to next map, easy. the hard thing was indeed the management in how to grow up. blade ninja is one of the hardest classes to grow but late game is probably the best one in most contents.
Black desert feels like a proper reincarnation of metin2. It's korean. It's grindy. It has beautiful sceneries. Mechanics are slightly different, but its refreshing.
Never got higher than lvl 19 or so in this... All I remember is going to the marketplace and seeing some armour or stuff for sale for like 999999999999 Yang, and I was like o.O

Basically the game evolved from 2000 -> 2004
Never got higher than lvl 19 or so in this... All I remember is going to the marketplace and seeing some armour or stuff for sale for like 999999999999 Yang, and I was like o.O
It was awesome and many people still play , now I’ve found a mobile version called “Mobile2” , this game will always be entertaining .
My childhood
This game was way ahead of its time. Another game that was very head was Generals Zero Hour.
