Talented or not, they were still some hype. No band could hope to live up to that sometimes. Unless it was someone like Zeppelin or the Who or someone like that. Slash is phenomenal and it's hard to believe this album is what? 35 yrs old? I just think they somewhat ruined their legacy with all the crap of the past 20 yrs. Most of it was Axls fault to me. Chinese Democracy sucked. Badly. They could've been so much more. I wouldn't have them in my top 10 bands of all time from the US. Maybe just outside it
