    Great car, awesome review of this NIO EC7. The interior looks so good, plus the massage feature my goodness!

    Nice review Eric. The things we noticed about NOP+ while on our latest road trip of 2500km. When coming up to a slower vehicle in the fast lane the car doesn't seem to see the car directly behind you. The car behind may change lanes to pass on the right while our Nio was trying to change into that lane as well. Scared the crap out of us more than once. The 2nd thing was coming up to a slower vehicle, our Nio slows but there's too much lag time to pick back up. Not smooth. That car that was 15 meters ahead in now 75 meters ahead. Other issues were posted speed limits not recognized by our car at times. Any new changes in the expressway was another. Lastly construction zones.. Forget using it then, not good.
    We're confident moving forward that Nio will get better with NOP+. Until then keep your hands on the wheel. Most of the time anyways..

      This is for NAD. It's still just an aid program.

    I hope we get a ET7 facelift with foldable backseats next year. Right now it's a total deal breaker that the seats can not be folded.

      Maybe they should consider ET7t at the price of ET7 and remove ET5 and ET7. Touring versions are much better functionality, practicality, and demand.

      They just did a ET7 refresh like 3 or 4 months ago.. They didn't include folding back seats??

    Other than the size of the car, would you still say EC7 is better car than ES8?

    Why don't they have back seat pockets behind each seat. Sounds like that's basic stuff for back passengers. The car looks amazing.

    The fluctuating power and speed of the AP is likely a Europe thing, as the EU cars run on completely rewritten software. Banyan 2.0.0 will be released here soon (hopefully this week) and improves this a lot. Right now the AP is basically useless. Some reviewers compare it to a drunk driver. 😅Hopefully 2.0.0 will solve this (and early reviews point to that). We are likely a long way from NOP+ over here though.

    This is somehow an awkward digital world. Both you and the person riding shotgun are engaging in digital communication: you talked to the camera, while he was chatting with his phone. Face-to-face communication only occurred occasionally 😂
