Nice review, as far as the blade I would think if you were stopped at airport security or whatever, you could just toss the blade itself and not the whole thing!

Cool little optimus prime transformer thingamabob doodad gadget widget! I’d definitely forget and walk through security with it too! For example, I might have walked through a metal detector in a mall in Atlanta recently with a Ruger LCP Max in my pocket. There might have been security at the bottom of the escalator that asked me if I had any firearms on me. I might have said of course not and kept right on walking ti the nearest exit. Hypothetically speaking of course.
I’ve never had an issue w TSA while carrying one, individual results may vary. Even if they do find it you can just remove the blade, and you’ll only be out a few cents
Not easily. It has a detent that holds it in place so it won’t come out on its own. In theory it could get snagged on something and open, but I think that would be unlikely and hasn’t happened to me yet.
…..but keep in mind, the blades are super sharp, but for single use……the durability is not the same as an fixed blade. And I am not shure if it’s to sharpened. We didn’t 😂

It’s made well. It is nice to have the driver just in case. I’d probably go for that one or the one with no tools and bottle opener.

Is the blade only proprietary, or can it use a generic hobby blade?
It is proprietary. I just checked using some exacto blades and the hole slot is too small to go onto the rovyvon.
It seems to be hospital blades…..we used it a lot on my work place here in a hospital in Germany 😊
