@@klbzplb this is one of my favourite trials but the two bits of evidence that pointed to Kirumi, her torn glove in the pool and her being alone in the gym for 5 minutes, were both only crucial because she did the whole piraña tank trick. If she’d just left the body in the lab then there would be no evidence against her. I still really like this trial but I feel like it would be better if they gave a reason for her to have to move the body to the tank like someone was outside of Ryoma’s lab or something.

This trial really made me hate Kirumi. Yeah yeah, she did it for her people, but she went about it in a very scummy, despicable manner; not only did she outright try to use Kaede's death and final wish to manipulate the others into crossing her off as a suspect (2:13:47) but she then pulled the "my life is more valuable than yours" card due to her secret status as prime minister to manipulate them into giving up their lives for her AGAIN (2:58:07), only failing because Kaito and Kokichi explicitly call her out on it in their own ways before it could work (2:59:36 + 3:01:05). 3:05:58 The bigger they are - even a prime minister - the harder they fall.

Best moment of the trial: Miu who constantly was being dissed by Kokichi says "Are you sure the culprit isn't Kokichi?" and he just went "AHAHAHAHA How rude." XD
Ryoma was the 3rd to die out of 11 if you discount the final trial so makes sense. But Miu was in 3 out of 5 of the trials so it’s insane she wouldn’t even take your side
For an Fact that’s the complete opposite of yours, the only person to always side with you for the amount of class trials they participate in is Angie. If you want it to be 2, then you could assume Kaede would be someone who sided with you despite her being the character you’re controlling. She was a fake-out so she could count as someone who always sided with you. You being Shuichi who you play as for the rest of the game.

Kokichi's little speech from around 51:05 - 54:45 ... I've seen this part an unhealthy amount of times... His voice actor must have had so much fun playing Kokichi. He goes from his usual playfulness, to sounding seductive..to then creepy and utterly insane within this time frame. I'm loving it. 💙
this essay contains chapter 4 and 5 spoilers I absolutely love Kokichi. He's so funny and amazing. His appearance is genuinely adorable. Despite the creepy faces he makes, he has a great sense of humor and his character is super complex. There are some things that you only notice when analyzing his character or replaying the game. The genuineness of him crying over Gonta about to be executed in Chapter 4, the fact that what he said at 3:11:00 was 100% honest, it's all something you wouldn't realize at first. The pain Kokichi clearly was going through in the Chapter 5 post trial flashbacks when Kaito was telling everyone what he said is so obvious and upsetting. It sucks when you realize he truly was trying to help everyone, albeit in his own way. He was doing the best he could to stop the mastermind and end the killing game behind the scenes but nobody knew. He wanted it that way. His character is really tragic when you analyze it enough. He hid his emotions with humor and rudeness just so he could push everyone away. He didn't want to be seen as vulnerable so he pretended he was the complete opposite. Also, when you look at the whiteboard in his room, it's kind of obvious that Kokichi has trust issues. There's only one person who he seems to trust and yet there's still a question mark. He describes Shuichi specifically as, and I quote, 'Trustworthy?' Everybody else who had something said about them had something negative written. Nobody else seemed to be trustworthy in his eyes. Possibly the only reason he saw Shuichi as trustworthy is because he isn't the kind of person to control a killing game and it looked like he genuinely wanted to save everyone, just like Kokichi did. He's clearly the most complex character in V3 by far. Also, his sprites are super cute. The one he uses at 2:11:04 is absolutely adorable. Nothing can change my mind. He makes me so happy.

If she just left him there after she drowned him, it would've been much more difficult to figure out the culprit. The motto of Danganronpa; "They tried to be flashy, and they got caught."
Yea, and she could have just taken his chlothes and handcuffs off and threw him in the pool. There would be no evidence that a murder even happened, because she could also skip the handcuffs.
actually, that could've been worse for her, if there's little to no evidence to go off of, and no one has an alibi bcs the crime took place at night, eventually the group would've traced it back to the motive videos and conclude that the culprit most likely saw their own video. If anyone had shown their video to anyone else they would speak up, so they could also probably assume that the culprit had their own video by chance and get everyone to show the videos they got. Kirumi didn't know if anyone else had got their own video so she thought would've been caught right away (she didn't know Kokichi had his own motive video too). She created the whole mystery during the escape act to distract everyone from that, if the culprit created that whole elaborate scheme that took everyone that long to figure out, they wouldn't have thought about the motive videos and assume that there must be some evidence pointing to the culprit from that scheme. The only mistake she really made was dropping her trash in the pool, and by that point she was too far in to backtrack.

Ouch that must be the most painful execution so far. I fear what's going to happen next to the remaining cast :c Some thoughts about the execution aftermath (spoilers probably): This execution is a reference to "The Spider's Thread" by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. I find it more tragic given the web-like motifs kirumi wears for her outfit, and how fitting the role she was in: a murderer stuck in the pit of hell and only struck down because of her selfishness. Now that's what I call irony.
I feel so bad for Himiko, the worst thing to happen to a magician is to have your supposely entertaining performance become a murder case, and have the audience crack the code right in front of you.
Well yeah, his reaction to the twice he was under pressure in the previous trial were evidence of this: When they accused him of being the culprit and AGAIN shortly after Kaede was executed and everyone turned against Monokuma (Although, that was grieving more than anything)

22:10 - 22:29 This right here is my reason to why people ask me why I prefer Angie over Tenko. Minus the pros and cons of their characters, in a *killing game environment,* Angie is more of a preferable choice. She isn't blinded by friendships and is able to think logically in a situation, being able to look past her bonds with others and understand that they can be culprits. That kind of reasoning and mental focus is an absolute must when it comes to class trials. Because she's able to stay in control of herself and assist the group. Meanwhile, Tenko openly admits to being okay with *causing the entire group to die,* just because she believes in one person. That kind of attitude is a dangerous detriment to the overall group's survival; people like that who will purposely become uncooperative and difficult by fighting against the truth should be taken care of immediately. I wouldn't be okay with someone saying that they're okay with me dying, just so they can believe in their friend, who could be the culprit. I might get flamed for this, but I don't care for either of them personality-wise. But when it comes to the killing game overall, Angie will always be before Tenko for this reason.
Quite frankly, i'd say that only Shuichi and Tenko were thinking logically - because they all jumped to the conclusion that it was linked to Himiko due to the fact that it was linked to magic. Magic tricks are prone to tampering, PLUS it's next to the gym/pool window - so all it takes is strategic thinking to get over to it, and from there, the tank can be modified to the way that the culprit him/herself wants it. This is further reinforced by the rope and fabric, as this would be easiest to use *Even though the cloth was gloves - i'm looking at this from a third-person view* to get across to the window, if you connect the cloth to the rope, you can easily create a zip line over to the window from the other side of the pool. Trying to pin the blame on Himiko is NOT thinking logically, as this is like accusing Maki for the next murder

I used to hate her but now that I look back at her motive and such I see her reason. She had a legit reason to kill Hoshi. She wanted to live. Even though Monokuma gave them make motive videos still it makes sense.

This trial really made me hate Kirumi. Yeah yeah, she did it for her people, but she went about it in a very scummy, despicable manner; not only did she outright try to use Kaede's death and final wish to manipulate the others into crossing her off as a suspect (2:13:47) but she then pulled the "my life is more valuable than yours" card due to her secret status as prime minister to manipulate them into giving up their lives for her AGAIN (2:58:07), only failing because Kaito and Kokichi explicitly call her out on it in their own ways before it could work (2:59:36 + 3:01:05).

Ryoma was the 3rd to die out of 11 if you discount the final trial so makes sense. But Miu was in 3 out of 5 of the trials so it’s insane she wouldn’t even take your side
For an Fact that’s the complete opposite of yours, the only person to always side with you for the amount of class trials they participate in is Angie. If you want it to be 2, then you could assume Kaede would be someone who sided with you despite her being the character you’re controlling. I absolutely love Kokichi. He's so funny and amazing. His appearance is genuinely adorable. Despite the creepy faces he makes, he has a great sense of humor and his character is super complex. There are some things that you only notice when analyzing his character or replaying the game. The genuineness of him crying over Gonta about to be executed in Chapter 4, the fact that what he said at 3:11:00 was 100% honest, it's all something you wouldn't realize at first. The pain Kokichi clearly was going through in the Chapter 5 post trial flashbacks when Kaito was telling everyone what he said is so obvious and upsetting. It sucks when you realize he truly was trying to help everyone, albeit in his own way. He was doing the best he could to stop the mastermind and end the killing game behind the scenes but nobody knew. He wanted it that way. His character is really tragic when you analyze it enough. He hid his emotions with humor and rudeness just so he could push everyone away. He didn't want to be seen as vulnerable so he pretended he was the complete opposite. Also, when you look at the whiteboard in his room, it's kind of obvious that Kokichi has trust issues. There's only one person who he seems to trust and yet there's still a question mark. He describes Shuichi specifically as, and I quote, 'Trustworthy?' Everybody else who had something said about them had something negative written. Nobody else seemed to be trustworthy in his eyes. Possibly the only reason he saw Shuichi as trustworthy is because he isn't the kind of person to control a killing game and it looked like he genuinely wanted to save everyone, just like Kokichi did. He's clearly the most complex character in V3 by far. Also, his sprites are super cute. The one he uses at 2:11:04 is absolutely adorable. Nothing can change my mind. He makes me so happy.

Yea, and she could have just taken his chlothes and handcuffs off and threw him in the pool. There would be no evidence that a murder even happened, because she could also skip the handcuffs.
actually, that could've been worse for her, if there's little to no evidence to go off of, and no one has an alibi bcs the crime took place at night, eventually the group would've traced it back to the motive videos and conclude that the culprit most likely saw their own video. If anyone had shown their video to anyone else they would speak up, so they could also probably assume that the culprit had their own video by chance and get everyone to show the videos they got. Kirumi didn't know if anyone else had got their own video so she thought would've been caught right away (she didn't know Kokichi had his own motive video too). She created the whole mystery during the escape act to distract everyone from that, if the culprit created that whole elaborate scheme that took everyone that long to figure out, they wouldn't have thought about the motive videos and assume that there must be some evidence pointing to the culprit from that scheme. The only mistake she really made was dropping her trash in the pool, and by that point she was too far in to backtrack.
Tbh if I had to kill someone I would just slide off their head or stab them. No evidence just a simple murder.

This execution is a reference to "The Spider's Thread" by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. I find it more tragic given the web-like motifs kirumi wears for her outfit, and how fitting the role she was in: a murderer stuck in the pit of hell and only struck down because of her selfishness. Now that's what I call irony.

Minus the pros and cons of their characters, in a *killing game environment,* Angie is more of a preferable choice. She isn't blinded by friendships and is able to think logically in a situation, being able to look past her bonds with others and understand that they can be culprits. That kind of reasoning and mental focus is an absolute must when it comes to class trials. Because she's able to stay in control of herself and assist the group.
Meanwhile, Tenko openly admits to being okay with *causing the entire group to die,* just because she believes in one person. That kind of attitude is a dangerous detriment to the overall group's survival; people like that who will purposely become uncooperative and difficult by fighting against the truth should be taken care of immediately. Quite frankly, i'd say that only Shuichi and Tenko were thinking logically - because they all jumped to the conclusion that it was linked to Himiko due to the fact that it was linked to magic. Magic tricks are prone to tampering, PLUS it's next to the gym/pool window - so all it takes is strategic thinking to get over to it, and from there, the tank can be modified to the way that the culprit him/herself wants it. This is further reinforced by the rope and fabric, as this would be easiest to use *Even though the cloth was gloves - i'm looking at this from a third-person view* to get across to the window, if you connect the cloth to the rope, you can easily create a zip line over to the window from the other side of the pool. Trying to pin the blame on Himiko is NOT thinking logically, as this is like accusing Maki for the next murder

I used to hate her but now that I look back at her motive and such I see her reason. She had a legit reason to kill Hoshi. She wanted to live. Even though Monokuma gave them make motive videos still it makes sense.
