    There is no reason not to take care of your gun no matter the cost. Clean it don’t over oil and make sure it is dry. My guns didn’t cost a fortune but are worth plenty to me. Always good videos.

    People need to stop being snobs/stuck in their old ways, and start to realise that these Turkish guns are fantastic. I would go as far as saying they are probably the best gun you can buy for the price they are selling at. £600 for a brand new gun of that quality is amazing. There are too many old folk in the UK shooting who need to learn how to move on from the old days.

    • @14goldmedals
      @14goldmedals 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well said. Fear of the prices of their brand name guns dropping is the big reason most snobs put these modern built steel ready guns down. This 20 gauge shown here is simply a clone of a Beretta.

      @MR12GAUGE 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@14goldmedals nowhere near a clone, copied ejectors and barrel/reciever but completely different internal action etc. Good guns for the money

      @MR12GAUGE 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree on most of that, i have an sp as a backup gun, excellent value for the money, i would argue a silver pigeon is well overpriced, in saying that these ata's are good but there is a decent difference in quality/tooling between it and entry level miroku etc , great entry level/ casual shooter, they won't last a lifetime of heavy clay shooting but for 600£ you can't get that level of engineering and materials, happily recommend them to anyone

    Jonny, I think you just showed me the gun I've been looking for to convince my wife to start clay shooting 😍😍 At £600, it's hardly a big risk even if she doesn't take to the sport - I'll make use of it if that ends up being the case 👍😆 - My now 18 month old ATA 12 bore has proven a great sporting shotgun for me

  • @akkaax3509
    @akkaax3509 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    I've had an ATA in 12b for a few years now. I love it, I bought it on a bit of a punt as a second gun to my Browning 525. I no longer have the Browning, I just shoot better with the ATA and its never let me down. And I really don't regret that decision, the 525 just wasn't getting used. Dont get caught up in the whole badge snobbery thing.👍

    • @MR12GAUGE
      @MR12GAUGE 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Difference between badge snobbery and knowing quality- i have an ata as a rough gun/loan gun, shoots well enough, finish is good/for the money externally, looks ok but a browning 525 is a much better quality gun, that 525 would last forever with routine maintenance, these ata's are built to a budget, cheap steel, cheap coatings, wood is far from dense, they are built to a cost and are basically a use until dead then replace item, good cheap guns if fit well, horses for courses anyone who shoots volumes as in 250 a week will burn one out in no time

    All of the reviews of ATA that I’ve seen is generally ‘it’s a very nice gun, not a beretta but then again it’s £600….’ I translate that to they are good guns that you need not spend another £1000 on. Video after video it’s the same. It seems to be just brand snobbery holding people back. I went and bought a 12g super sport can’t wait to get to know it.

    I see a few other mentions of Yildiz here, and yeah, I could see this ATA and the SPZ ME being the logical pair to proffer someone looking for a budget 20. Beretta-ish and sporter weight vs Rizzini-ish and light weight.
    Maybe this ATA will inspire Yildiz to have a go at paring down the Prostar to 20 gauge...

    Great review, and a lovely looking gun for the money. My ATA Supersport is a superb gun, I’ve given it some hammer and it’s never failed. I have, admittedly, gone to a 525 SL now but we shall see whether I can shoot as well with a “higher” marque. But I’m tempted here, very much so.

    Looks better than their 12bore range, better dimensions easily, i had an sp as a rough gun/backup, as all new guns they are well spec'd for the money- multis, steel proofed and so on, great guns for beginners, second gun or just casual shooting, not built to last as a dedicated clay gun but you can't get that tooling/engineering for 600£

They seem very similar to this ATA and are marketed as a Silver Pigeon Copy. What I have heard is that they even use the Beretta trigger system, just with lower quality parts. Would love to see you do a review on it, Cheers thanks.

    Hello master, I used classic shotgun and s.poze for a long time, and now I bought a y.automatic shotgun. It has a 12 diameter and a barrel chamber of 76mm. I went to the hunting dealer to buy 76mm cartridges for this rifle. I explained the situation. He said there is no 76mm cartridge. You can use 70mm cartridges. I was confused and said 70mm cartridges. I did not buy it and I am researching to see what is the truth and I want to ask you, my masters, the truth of the matter. Now my question is this: If you are using an automatic rifle, will the 70mm cartridge damage the 76mm chamber set of the barrel or not? Or, is steel shot or lead shot used? What are the details? I would be very grateful if you could answer me. I have not fired any cartridges in the rifle yet. I am waiting for this answer. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards.

    Looks reflect price; uninteresting wood, plane coated action that will mark and look tatty quickly. Best feature is the forend that looks a bit classier. What's the nasty orange thing under the bottom barrel ?
    ATA have large portion of the market mainly due to low price and new people coming to the sport on a budget but still want to buy new. Still, for a starter gun, good enough, but stay with the sport and you won't keep this one long.

      Had my 12 bore in matte black for over two years now. The matte black finish does not mark up easily at all. Pops straight off 👍
