Thanks for this info, thorough and helpful! Id like to go for the Ritz and Brilliant combo via the long game, would love to have a pair of 85k fnc’s each year, cheers.
Very informative vid! I'm wondering about ur experience with the timing of actually receiving the FNC after the cc anniversary? I have the business card, and it's been 1.5 mths since my anniv - no FNC yet (?).
Thank you! The business is a newer card for us, actually, so we haven't yet hit the anniversary date. I have heard from others it can take 8-12 weeks, however, though often when AMEX quotes that it seems like it's faster, so hopefully you'll see it soon!
What? You signed up in May, take your big vacay in June & don’t have the Certs in time? Can’t you book with cash & cancel/rebook with certs most times?
Good point - you may be able to cancel and rebook, yes, though if the hotel is sold out I wouldn't risk it, nor would I cancel a multi-night stay to try to re-book using a single anniversary certificate if the cash price had changed by that point. We would much prefer to have our anniversary certs come at a time when we can make the initial reservation using them. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it! It is definitely a long game, but worth it in the end, I think.
