When I was a kid, like 6 or 7, we were studying something at the kingdom hall about the paradise, it may have been a watchtower article, it was the 80s. They asked an unscripted question for the kids because we had a huge number of children (yes I am related to someone who was molested, not my story to tell). They asked what we were looking forward to in paradise, most kids say play with different animals but I am autistic and I have a "beautiful mind" so I asked, since Adam and Eve didn't wear clothes, did that mean we didn't have to wear clothes? My dad told this years later but apparently after I asked that I looked directly into the elder giving talk wife's eyes lol. Since that day if my hand went up they would wait for my dad to give the ok to talk to lol. I never did get an answer 😂

@pataplan, It's more likely that in this video, Armageddon likely came before Zoe, Sophia and Caleb had a chance to grow up. Although, it would be tragic if something had happened to the three of them while they were kids before Armageddon came. Imagine if they never got to grow up in Paradise? They would probably then be more like the character of Claudia from "THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES" media franchise. They might acquire greater intelligence that makes them seem like adults, but they would never physically grow into adults. That's why Claudia was so tormented. Even though she was an immortal vampire and contiued to age emotionally and psychologically, Claudia knew that she would never get to become a woman in the physical sense. Claudia realized that she would never marry a man or get to have children of her own. A truly shocking depiction of ungratefulness to Jesus. I struggled with my faith after being indoctrinated by these people but am trying to get the real Christian in me to shine through now. Maybe Sophia didn't snatch Zoe's pretty butterfly pen and then smash it underneath her foot after pushing her to the ground in the schoolyard like what Angela did to Sophia -- but isn't Sophia doing the same thing that Angela did -- isn't she just going around and telling Zoe what to do? Angela doesn't want Zoe to be friends with Sophia because she doesn't like Sophia's religion. She's a bigot. It is implied that Sophia is only being friends with Zoe because Zoe takes an interest in possibly someday formally joining the religion that Sophia and her younger brother Caleb are being raised in -- and this all happens after Sophia tried proselytizing to Zoe after Zoe's grandmother died. Isn't that kind of suggesting that Sophia's friendship with Zoe is based on a false premise? Doesn't that imply that Sophia is being fake? Poor Zoe, she needs better friends. You know, the Witnesses have said for so long that God would wipe the memories of their loved ones who were killed at Armageddon or who were not reusrrected bfore the Millenial Reign of Christ from their minds. And here in this installment of "BE JEHOVAH'S FRIEND", we have Zoe running, in a rather odd way, through Paradise looking at all these other JWs greeting their resurrected family members and friends or chatting with resurrected Biblical characters -- and yet, she doesn't see her beloved grandmother anywhere. She then stops along an ornate bridge and looks over heartbroken at the waterfall realizing that her grandmother will remain in her unconscious slumber called death for all of eternity and knows that there is nothing that she can ever do to change her grandmother's fate, and that she can never have her grandmother brought back to life. A glorified older-looking Jesus then sees from Heaven how unhappy Zoe is, and tells her to look behind her, and she then sees her beloved grandmother and then rushes into her arms. It turns out that grandma had been brought back to life after all. Well, what if the video had instead stopped when Zoe stood on that bridge thinking that her grandmother hadn't been resurrected after all and hadn't made it into Paradise? What if this had been after the Millenial Reign? Wouldn't this imply that Zoe, though she will live forever in a glorified perfected body, can never and never will be truly happy in eternity because she doesn't have one of the people whom she loved most in the Old System of things by her side? What does that say about JW theology? What implications does that scenario have?
I believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses view of paradise is mistaken. The notion of an earthly paradise is nowhere to be found in the Holy Bible, at least not in the New Testament, because Jesus Christ never said anything about bringing paradise back to earth. In fact, He said that heaven and earth will pass away but His words will stand forever.

Next, they'll bust out Isaiah 45:18, "...he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited." Then they'll bust out Matthew 5:5, "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." That's Jesus, allegedly. Then they'd start wrapping it up with Rev 5:10, "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” Just like everything else in the bible, you can make it say whatever you want and be technically correct. If I were you, I'd be questioning that part where even heaven passes away. Also, in the verse immediately before that, Jesus claims "this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." So, I'd take it all with grain of salt.

I am a Christian and i do believe in Heaven. I believe it is where my loved ones are. And I believe it is where I will be. Children are so special that Jesus says that if anyone leads them astray, that that it would be better for a millstone to be around their neck. I do believe that JWs are a cult. But animated stories just like this one are made so close to biblical truth that it is scary. That's why people can be led astray. God can make heaven anyway he wants. I believe I will have a mansion. i believe that I will be able to be in the presence of God. I will feast at his table and I believe I will be able to sing in heavens choir and praise my lord Jesus forever. There will be no pain, sorrow or death. I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and know that I am a sinner, saved by grace. Not by works lest any one should boast. JWs have beliefs that it is just them going to heaven. That is not true. You have left that cult and maybe do not believe in anything you once believed. You do not believe the lies. I pray that you will believe God's truth. Truth is truth, We should not be afraid of it;
Have they ever depicted paradise at night? I wonder if they have electricity, candles or something else. Any device they use, poses a lot of questions as to how they build them and maintain them. I guess every JW has a very different expectation about paradaise, which means most of them would be disappointed at the actual thing, if it ever happens (which it won't). And that alone it's kind of sad.
The witnesses in the 1970s in the region where i live did not believe for certain sure about the resurrected persons clothing from the ancient times. 😆 It was about wandering & talking AND the resurrected ones went right to work in changing & perfecting a planet completely a mess , first by man & then clobbered by great tribulations & armageddon. The "studies"(aka the newbies) are seen to be just sooooo wonderfully effusive about going to the KH aren't they. Well that is until they find out that IF they get baptized they cross into the land of no return - that is, if they later say chose to drop away from the incessant meetings and they don't respond to the elders "correctional" visits (referred to as shepherding) , they will very likely to be seen now as "disassociating" themselves and with that comes consequences in the form of potential shunning - if you happen to be a baptized teenager, it makes no difference - shunned you will be. It's a murky world once you sign on the dotted line so to speak and you will find the kindly people you thought were friends and who formerly love bombed you, can and do suddenly turn that "we love you" switch off and you literally become invisible. The power of the leadership in dictating how people behave, and the willingness of those people to do as they are instructed because they literally (and willingly) forfeit their ability to think critically is quite an eye opening situation. And if they (you) decide to get back into the mothership by complying, well, just as fast that "love switch" is turned on again and once again you will be visible again and they will all say how wonderful it is that you have "seen the light". If you can live with very conditional friendship, then sign up.

I was at a memorial once, invited by Jehovah's Witness, who tried to get me into religion. If they only new, I seriously considered eating the bread just to see what would happen and how woul everyone react...
When i was that age on my time off from school i wanted to be outside ride bycicles, play nintendo etc... When my jw mom was getting us ready to go the kingdom hall i would hide my shoes so would not have to go that was 1978 or so. I did not like it and till this day i never became a jw. Parents should not force indoctrination on their children. When adults they can make their own choices. There still are pictures of me suit and tie in some jws event back in the late 70s. My mom is a hardcore life long jw no hope she will ever wake from the heavy indoctrination. She is the only one in her entire large family that had the blessings of being a full blown jws. She transfered that legacy to my 2 younger brothers and they to their children 3rd generation of jws. Me if im free as a bird and so are my children and grand children.

100% agree with and can sympathize. I believe that in China no one under 18 is permitted to set foot in a place of worship. I would go even farther than the Chinese. Christians should just be prevented from reproducing and any children they have either sent to live with a non-Christian family or, if they are old enough, the kids should be put up in dorms and given a monthly stipend by the state until they graduate and can support themselves. Of course I can already hear people bitching and moaning about "muh parental rights". Eff you! No one should have the right to indoctrinate children or force a religion upon them that they do not believe in. If you effing religion is so great then it shouldn't need to literally brainwash helpless children to continue existing. And this is why Christians do it. It's an adlib that has to be employed to answer the questions regarding missing limbs, old broken bodies, etc. Who would want to be resurrected but still have spinal bifida or no legs or even blindness? That one is simple. The bible never mentions, ever, that his birth was to be remembered. His birth is quite insignificant as an infant or the birth itself offered nothing. Only his death has meaning and only his death did he specifically command to memorialize. That people focus on a commercial holiday really doesn't mean anything. Even atheists celebrate Xmas.

Maybe he divorced or split up with Zoe's mother and then married another woman and started a family with her and didn't have much to do with Zoey? Actually, I think walking around in a garden eating fruits and drinking coffee with friends all day sounds great! But only if coffee is permitted in the JW paradise - no coffee means it's no real paradise for me - but I suspect it is in the Mormon paradise that coffee is forbidden. (Note to self: I must not go there. ) What I wouldn't like in JW paradise, is the PTSD after Armageddon and burying the 8 billion people who died. When I was a kid, like 6 or 7, we were studying something at the kingdom hall about the paradise, it may have been a watchtower article, it was the 80s. They asked an unscripted question for the kids because we had a huge number of children (yes I am related to someone who was molested, not my story to tell). They asked what we were looking forward to in paradise, most kids say play with different animals but I am autistic and I have a "beautiful mind" so I asked, since Adam and Eve didn't wear clothes, did that mean we didn't have to wear clothes? My dad told this years later but apparently after I asked that I looked directly into the elder giving talk wife's eyes lol. Since that day if my hand went up they would wait for my dad to give the ok to talk to lol. I never did get an answer 😂

It's more likely that in this video, Armageddon likely came before Zoe, Sophia and Caleb had a chance to grow up. Although, it would be tragic if something had happened to the three of them while they were kids before Armageddon came. Imagine if they never got to grow up in Paradise? They would probably then be more like the character of Claudia from "THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES" media franchise. They might acquire greater intelligence that makes them seem like adults, but they would never physically grow into adults. That's why Claudia was so tormented. Even though she was an immortal vampire and contiued to age emotionally and psychologically, Claudia knew that she would never get to become a woman in the physical sense. Claudia realized that she would never marry a man or get to have children of her own. And then she was horrificly murdered by the members of the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, France by being locked into a room that allowed the sunlight to come in, ultimately killing her because she had brutally murdered the overly controling Lestat de Lioncourt, one of her two vampiric fathers, because the vampires of the world had an unwritten rule that it was a death-worthy offense for a vampire to kill another vampire (and because human children were not be turned into vampires because of how vulnerable they are considered as being).

Of course, if Camille or her daughter Zoe are ever removed from or choose to voluntarily leave their JW congregation and do not return to the Jehovah's Witness faith, they will forever loose their social suppprt network and Caleb and Sophia, along with their parents, will no longer have anything ro do with them. In a previous video in the "BE JEHOVAH'S FRIEND" series, Zoe was being bullied at school by a lollipop-loving little girl named Angela and her two female friends for hanging out with Sophia because according to Angela, "Sophia is so weird, and a loser", and then, Angela tells Zoe that she should really be hanging out with Angela and her two girlfriends.
Then in this video, we have Sophia pressuring Zoe to attend the Memorial at the local Kingdom Hall. Zoe then pressures her mother that the two of them should go and attend the Memorial, even though her mother is tired from coming home after a long day of work and then having to go grocery shopping for their family. How is Sophia's behavior any different than Angela's? Maybe Sophia didn't snatch Zoe's pretty butterfly pen and then smash it underneath her foot after pushing her to the ground in the schoolyard like what Angela did to Sophia -- but isn't Sophia doing the same thing that Angela did -- isn't she just going around and telling Zoe what to do?
Angela doesn't want Zoe to be friends with Sophia because she doesn't like Sophia's religion. She's a bigot. It is implied that Sophia is only being friends with Zoe because Zoe takes an interest in possibly someday formally joining the religion that Sophia and her younger brother Caleb are being raised in -- and this all happens after Sophia tried proselytizing to Zoe after Zoe's grandmother died. Isn't that kind of suggesting that Sophia's friendship with Zoe is based on a false premise? Doesn't that imply that Sophia is being fake? Poor Zoe, she needs better friends. Neither Angela, her two girlfriends or Sophia are the kind of kids you should be hanging out with, Zoe, if you ask me.

You know, the Witnesses have said for so long that God would wipe the memories of their loved ones who were killed at Armageddon or who were not reusrrected bfore the Millenial Reign of Christ from their minds. And here in this installment of "BE JEHOVAH'S FRIEND", we have Zoe running, in a rather odd way, through Paradise looking at all these other JWs greeting their resurrected family members and friends or chatting with resurrected Biblical characters -- and yet, she doesn't see her beloved grandmother anywhere. She then stops along an ornate bridge and looks over heartbroken at the waterfall realizing that her grandmother will remain in her unconscious slumber called death for all of eternity and knows that there is nothing that she can ever do to change her grandmother's fate, and that she can never have her grandmother brought back to life.
A glorified older-looking Jesus then sees from Heaven how unhappy Zoe is, and tells her to look behind her, and she then sees her beloved grandmother and then rushes into her arms. It turns out that grandma had been brought back to life after all. Well, what if the video had instead stopped when Zoe stood on that bridge thinking that her grandmother hadn't been resurrected after all and hadn't made it into Paradise? What if this had been after the Millenial Reign? Wouldn't this imply that Zoe, though she will live forever in a glorified perfected body, can never and never will be truly happy in eternity because she doesn't have one of the people whom she loved most in the Old System of things by her side? What does that say about JW theology? What implications does that scenario have?
I believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses view of paradise is mistaken. The notion of an earthly paradise is nowhere to be found in the Holy Bible, at least not in the New Testament, because Jesus Christ never said anything about bringing paradise back to earth. In fact, He said that heaven and earth will pass away but His words will stand forever.

They will tell you to read Genesis 1:28, "“Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it." Then they'll argue that God would not have changed his original plan, that filling and inhabiting the Earth would still be it. Next, they'll bust out Isaiah 45:18, "...he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited." Then they'll bust out Matthew 5:5, "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." That's Jesus, allegedly. Then they'd start wrapping it up with Rev 5:10, "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Just like everything else in the bible, you can make it say whatever you want and be technically correct. If I were you, I'd be questioning that part where even heaven passes away. Also, in the verse immediately before that, Jesus claims "this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." So, I'd take it all with grain of salt.

I am a Christian and i do believe in Heaven. I believe it is where my loved ones are. And I believe it is where I will be. Children are so special that Jesus says that if anyone leads them astray, that that it would be better for a millstone to be around their neck. I do believe that JWs are a cult. But animated stories just like this one are made so close to biblical truth that it is scary. That's why people can be led astray. God can make heaven anyway he wants. I believe I will have a mansion. i believe that I will be able to be in the presence of God. I will feast at his table and I believe I will be able to sing in heavens choir and praise my lord Jesus forever. There will be no pain, sorrow or death. I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and know that I am a sinner, saved by grace. Not by works lest any one should boast. JWs have beliefs that it is just them going to heaven. That is not true. Have they ever depicted paradise at night? I wonder if they have electricity, candles or something else. Any device they use, poses a lot of questions as to how they build them and maintain them. I guess every JW has a very different expectation about paradaise, which means most of them would be disappointed at the actual thing, if it ever happens (which it won't). And that alone it's kind of sad.

The "studies"(aka the newbies) are seen to be just sooooo wonderfully effusive about going to the KH aren't they. Well that is until they find out that IF they get baptized they cross into the land of no return - that is, if they later say chose to drop away from the incessant meetings and they don't respond to the elders "correctional" visits (referred to as shepherding) , they will very likely to be seen now as "disassociating" themselves and with that comes consequences in the form of potential shunning - if you happen to be a baptized teenager, it makes no difference - shunned you will be. It's a murky world once you sign on the dotted line so to speak and you will find the kindly people you thought were friends and who formerly love bombed you, can and do suddenly turn that "we love you" switch off and you literally become invisible. The power of the leadership in dictating how people behave, and the willingness of those people to do as they are instructed because they literally (and willingly) forfeit their ability to think critically is quite an eye opening situation. And if they (you) decide to get back into the mothership by complying, well, just as fast that "love switch" is turned on again and once again you will be visible again and they will all say how wonderful it is that you have "seen the light". If you can live with very conditional friendship, then sign up.

I was at a memorial once, invited by Jehovah's Witness, who tried to get me into religion. If they only new, I seriously considered eating the bread just to see what would happen and how woul everyone react...
When i was that age on my time off from school i wanted to be outside ride bycicles, play nintendo etc... When my jw mom was getting us ready to go the kingdom hall i would hide my shoes so would not have to go that was 1978 or so. I did not like it and till this day i never became a jw. Parents should not force indoctrination on their children. When adults they can make their own choices. There still are pictures of me suit and tie in some jws event back in the late 70s. My mom is a hardcore life long jw no hope she will ever wake from the heavy indoctrination. She is the only one in her entire large family that had the blessings of being a full blown jws. She transfered that legacy to my 2 younger brothers and they to their children 3rd generation of jws. Me if im free as a bird and so are my children and grand children.

100% agree with and can sympathize. I believe that in China no one under 18 is permitted to set foot in a place of worship. I would go even farther than the Chinese. Christians should just be prevented from reproducing and any children they have either sent to live with a non-Christian family or, if they are old enough, the kids should be put up in dorms and given a monthly stipend by the state until they graduate and can support themselves.
Of course I can already hear people bitching and moaning about "muh parental rights". Eff you! No one should have the right to indoctrinate children or force a religion upon them that they do not believe in. If you effing religion is so great then it shouldn't need to literally brainwash helpless children to continue existing. And this is why Christians do it. They know deep down that their faith in weak and wouldn't survive if they weren't able to indoctrinate their children into it. There is none apart from the Isaiah verses that depict how the old will become young again.
It's an adlib that has to be employed to answer the questions regarding missing limbs, old broken bodies, etc. Who would want to be resurrected but still have spinal bifida or no legs or even blindness? The blanks are filled in with new bodies since we all obviously know that the dead decompose and turn to "dust". That's what they'd say.

That one is simple. The bible never mentions, ever, that his birth was to be remembered. His birth is quite insignificant as an infant or the birth itself offered nothing. Only his death has meaning and only his death did he specifically command to memorialize. That people focus on a commercial holiday really doesn't mean anything. Even atheists celebrate Xmas.

Her parents probably divorced, or maybe Zoe's dad ran off after getting her mother pregnant out of wedlock. Maybe he divorced or split up with Zoe's mother and then married another woman and started a family with her and didn't have much to do with Zoey? Perhaps Camille, Zoe's mother, adopted Zoe or perhaps Zoe was conceived through artificial imsemination? Maybe Zoe's dad died in an accident, committed suicide or passed away from some type of illness when Zoe was very young? It's an interesting question though. I guess we'll never know.
Actually, I think walking around in a garden eating fruits and drinking coffee with friends all day sounds great!
But only if coffee is permitted in the JW paradise - no coffee means it's no real paradise for me - but I suspect it is in the Mormon paradise that coffee is forbidden. (Note to self: I must not go there. )
What I wouldn't like in JW paradise, is the PTSD after Armageddon and burying the 8 billion people who died. Must smell bad in parts of paradise for the first weeks/months/years or whatever time it takes to get that done.

If you read the whole Bible, heaven now and the future heaven are different. The future heaven will come together with a new earth. So both views are kind of true and kind of untrue just based on the text.
