The Ali in padlet is some of the most impressive AI that I've ever seen and in this video I'm going to show you three examples of how padlet can be used in language teaching I'm going to focus on three key features of the AI that is now on offer in padlet one is the option to generate quizzes polls and kind of mini tests which we can use to check grammar or vocabulary the second idea is going to focus more on writing and it's going to make use of the ‘I can't draw’ AI feature.
Padlet AI has a superb image generating tool that we can use for writing activities in language lessons and it's very easy to use I'm very effective and the images that generates are a very high quality.
The third example I'm going to show you for language Learners and language teachers is I'm going to show you a lovely idea working with the timeline. Padlet has a superb timeline feature that allows you to produce timelines of information in the example I'm going to do I'm going to get the history of Dua Lipa from the day that she was born and it will generate different pictures and text which students can then read and I'm going to set that text in English at level B1 to keep the level low for students. I'm really impressed with the AI in padlet and I think that if you watch this video especially if you are a language teacher then you are really going to find this video interesting I tried to make the ideas as concrete and useful as possible that you could immediately try in the classroom with your students.
There are many more AI features in Padlet but this will get you started and this video provides 3 useful ideas for language teachers

Absolutely fascinating. thank you for the demonstrations. I suspect that for my class of students aged 70+ it will be too much to handle but you never know.... perhaps one day. Great AI though.

@@ttvRussell The snag is.... None of the AI tools show up in our institution's account. (I wanted to create a timeline showing the history of tea.) Is there a particular variant of Padlet which has these new AI tools?

Hi there! Unfortunately, the assessment feature is only available in Padlet's paid plans.
@@ttvRussell Oh, this seems to answer my new question above. Then, it seems that even if an institution has paid for an account for a whole school, the new features are sadly not available. Instead, we just have the ability to generate AI images as part of the new interface as well as a wider range of templates.
