I’m pretty sure great Aussie tv comedy, showmanship and talent, ended the day those guys (all four of them) finished. Much respect and love to all four.
So glad people still remember my fave group of all time. I used to be (and still am) mad on these fellas. Saw them in concert countless times, even pinched paul (my fave) on the butt lol My father shook richards hand and told him i was obsessed lol I used to be crazy on them trust me lol Had a poem about them published in their HATEMAIL (fanclub mail) letter too! So glad ppl still post their vids. Thank you!
thank you soooo much for posting this!!! it's interesting to see them talk about parting ways- not foreseeing that paul and tim would not talk for many many years to come...
This is where he started to get dreadlocks, isnt it? I heard that just before the split, Paul had dreadlocks, but cut them to go on GNW. This would be around this time wouldn't it? I love how Andrew is one of those people who will play along with the joke instead of hide away in embarrasment. What I would have given to have been Andrew Denton........... I think the start of Grapevine was good, until the "drum solo" LOL! XD

"Marvin duck! it's your dad!" is the best line I've heard in a long time
DAAS Rocks! So blessed to have genius aussie comedians to cure the boredom of 80s/90s
Jazz - there hasn’t been anything as good as them to replace them either which is super sad.

Oh man I taped this segment off telly years ago too. Memories!
Notice that Denton is actually wearing the old DAAS costume, including the tie. He looks Big Gig Era DAAS
these guys were brilliant...
that's their best rendition of "Heard it through the Grapevine" ever!

Also they refer to them as "the lost songs of the mikado" in dead and alive.

Who wants to start a comedy band called " The Barnaby Joyce All Stars"?
Beutiful voices, dretful songs!
Weirdly enough some of the most risque songs had some of the best singing.
How could you not love Gilbert and Sullivan?
what are the names of the songs that they play in this
have you got more Denton episodes?
I watched this.
My introduction to the opposite sex.........
lol same!
DFYT was pretty awesome though.

the only musically inclined on chasers is andrew hanson. the rest of em arent.
