I'm glad you didn't miss Intramuros. It's a good place to learn more about the Philippines. If you'll ever go to Manila again, I hope you visit Rizal Park or Luneta. It's actually really close to Intramuros. Luneta has many gardens and you can access 3 national museums from there (National Museum of Anthropology, National Planetarium, and National Museum of Natural History). These museums are free for the public.
Koreans are clever when they Vlogging always make sense Just like others Koreans are smart, i Work with koreans too a year a go Heheh in PH, i want to visit south korea soon....
nowadays students don't like the history subject because they find it difficult to remember the names, places and years when the events happened in the past. im glad you visited intramuros, so many important things happened there from the past. keep safe always
From the Philippines 🇵🇭 with love! We love you Koreans ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊 let's continue to spread love and tourism to showcase how beautiful the country is and how and why Koreans love the Philippines 🇵🇭 anyong ❤
Baluarte de San Diego is a spade-shaped bulwark located inside the historic district of Intramuros in Manila City. This fort was created from the remains of the upper portion of a circular watch tower built from 1586-1587. It was actually a circular watchtower. It was damaged during the 2nd world war and reconstruction was not finished to this day. 🙂
It wasn't damaged, the circular tower was filled by the Americans and it was forgotten till the excavation and reconstruction of the bastion in the 70s. However the ramparts of the Bastion was partially destroyed during the war. The early Stone tower keeps collapsing after its construction and decided to keep the tower foundation and incorporate it to the ace spade shaped Baluarte de San Diego or Bastion of St. James in English in the 17th century.
Thank you for liking our country as Filipinos we love Korea too. Filipinos go to Korea because we love Kdrama much. God bless. I am a fan of this family.
Seeing you guys enjoying Intramuros makes me smile and I'm glad your family likes my country. Welcome to Philippines. 필리핀에서 즐겁게 지내시고 항상 몸조심하세요. 우리는 당신의 가족을 사랑합니다.^^
I have so much fun watching this video. I feel the interest of the whole family wanting to familiarize the history & culture of my beloved Phils. Thank you very much. Mabuhay !
Hello its good that you appreciate the sights in the Philippines. If you are still in Manila may I suggest that you also visit the dancing lights show at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati. Take care and enjoy Hello Philippines family 🥰
You live close to Cebu. There are historical sites there as well like Magellan's cross and the Basilica of the Santo Nino which was built in 1565. A lot of history in Cebu. The Sinulog festival in January has been filmed by so many TH-camrs. It is a lot of fun.
Its so nice to watch you guys. Thank you. Just always take care and be attentive to your belongings whenever you travel anywhere especially in Manila.. More power and God bless you all. ❤❤❤
I’m surprised you saw Mapua. I went to that university and it is known for being a good engineering school. I am also fascinated during my schooling days there since intramuros is a historical site and lot’s of places to see around.
The original Academia Militar known as Philippine Military Academy now was in Malolos Bulacan 1898. Then after the war, it was moved to Intramuros in 1905. It relocated to Baguio City in 1908 at Camp Henry Allen and later in Teachers Camp. After WW2, it reopened in Camp Allen in 1947. Then it moved in a year or 2 to its present site Fort Del Pilar.
At the start of the video, in San Agustin Church--that is called a pulpit where priests used to go up and give their sermon (talk). Perhaps you'd also like to visit the San Agustin Museum right beside the church; the Casa Manila across, and further straight ahead, the Fort Santiago. There's the National Museum that is free and airconditioned (closed on Mon) 😊
Soooooo lovely family , I am starting to like your vlogs , so natural , thank you so much for visiting our country and appreciating our culture. God bless your family enjoy...
Love the Intramuros feature, hope you enjoyed before going back to Dumaguete. Dumaguete itself is a historical place, try exploring it when you go back there.
Intramuros is like your Joseon Dynasty in Korea, as it witnessed several colonizations in the past by Spain, the USA, Japan, and even the British Empire occupied it lasted for 2 years only.
I am happy you enjoyed your trip to Manila, Makati and BGC, a lot more to see in Luzon, you need to visit Baguio next time, it’s the summer capital of the Philippines. You also need to visit the rice terraces, one of the wonders of the world.

There are so many schools/Colleges inside Intramuros established dated back in history like Colegio De San Juan De Letran, 1603 where most national heroes studied during the spanish era. Mapua popular for engineering courses, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Lyceum of the Philippines, and Santa Isabel College.
My wife and i enjoy watching your videos. We could feel your authenticity. We know our country’s imperfection in some ways - pollution in some part specially the metros, transport inconvenience, squatting (poverty in some areas) and probably even some people who may have scammed you (the Tailor whose Shop was close when you were getting your childrens costumes). But despite that we hope that you may continue to love our Country..that you are experiencing better things here in PH than the bad ones.. that you consider our Country your second home… be the place where your children will be educated the way you want them to. Try to visit Luzon area later (up north)..stay healthy and happy.. thats what life is..
❤❤❤❤❤Anyeonghaseyo, Kim Family! This is truly another one of your BEST videos!! Subscribers like me share every bit of your excitement and happiness while you tour around historic Intramuros! Spain built that "Walled City" and Japan was the last foreign invader to occupy it (1942--1945). How to use spoon and fork. Usually, spoon is used to scoop rice, soup and saucy food using the fork to bring food to the spoon. Fork may be used to pick up solid food and more solid ice cream and sometimes sticky rice. Use spoon on your strong or writing hand. Fork is also used to eat Cakes and pasta one. Use either spoon or fork to cut food even using them both at the same time like a knife. Usually, filipino viand/food are taken together with rice, putting them on the spoon at the same time to enjoy filipino food better and to neautralize strong taste of filipino meal food.
I hope you visit the RIZAL PARK too.. it's also near in intramuros. It's a big park. It is where u can see his monument and the start of Kilometer zero (KM 0). Where all the distance of the Philippines start.
