Yes, you can play a lower tier class and outdps a S-tier class, the great thing about Lost Ark is that player skill determines the majority of your damage output relative to similarly geared classes. At the end of the day, play what you want. The more you enjoy the class, the more you play it, the better you'll get at it and you can perform well on any class. However, if you're chasing Cruel Fighter rather than fun, this is the tier list for you.

Bro what u said in the video is facts, I also did a lot of research about all the classes and played most of the classes and test it out. And it’s true demonic and evo is DPS capped, a lot of ppl trash talking is Becoz they can’t take the truth and the facts. It’s very simple if wanna compare all the classes with the gems, tripods, cardset to the max, Then u will see the huge difference. Don’t compare with some random zerk or sorc with lvl 6-7 gems LOS 18 and saying your DI can MVP them coz u have level 10 gem on DI. Come on guys, If a zerk with full level 10 gems LOS 30 and max out and compared with DI or Evo. You’ll see the difference, and trixion is just u going to gym hitting the sand bag saying you’re tough, is difference when u get to ring and fight with someone.
Here's a gentle reminder to anyone reading this: Do NOT 'gatekeep' based on class/spec due to tierlists like this, yes even the ones in trash tier. Everyone's got classes that they clear on, don't be that guy that denies well-geared players playing a class that you perceive as "weak" since you fear a very slightly slower clear. The reality is, the people you find in party finder ACTUALLY SUCK, so pretty much every person you invite to a raid is a diceroll anyway, so it actually does not matter what classes you invite to pugs. Someone dying early has a far far bigger impact on raid DPS than just simply having a transformation class in your raid group, and no I'm not assuming that transformation classes typically live longer. Synergy also doesn't have a huge impact on reclear content too, most people misunderstand it too. Just, don't be an asshole to the people playing those classes, they like them and they still have to clear content too.
I agree, hard to tell who is good and who is a floor mat, or even worse that will get whole raid wipe cause they don't know mechs. Titles, horns, items, builds, nothing matter cause everyone can buy and bus all that.
i will gatekeep people on cheapskate classes like legacy scooter and reflux sorcs running precise dagger and/or aoa, they don't do anything in raids and just force everyone else to work harder for the clear expecting everyone else to carry your cheap ass is selfish as fuck, and i don't want to play with people like that
really glad you spoke about striker being a class that requires ALOT of investment, both cards and accessories, to actually become "S Tier". Its really shitty playing it as an alt with lvl 7 gems, mainly lvl 4 tripods and no full Umar-Laz.
For the people freaking out: As the disclaimer says, you don't have to worry about this if you're not a 0.1% player. Burst classes don't do more damage overall, they do it FIRST. For this to matter, you need to deny the sustained DPS a chance to attack by going from phase to phase as fast as possible. To do this, the team's damage as a whole must be high. If you're playing with PUGS (most of whom won't be playing optimally) around item level or only +10-20 over, Reflux will compete with Igniter despite being in opposite tiers. To use the analogy ATK used of Pizza slices, it depends on how fast the Pizza is gone. It doesn't matter if you can eat three slices of Pizza in 10 seconds and then eat nothing for 12 seconds IF the person eating a slice every seven seconds gets a chance to eat before the Pizza is gone. You only get to eat more Pizza if everyone else also eats it in ten seconds, and the other guy is left with one slice to your three. The lower the group's DPS is, the worse burst classes become. For example, on summoner for like 95% of players the swift version is better because even if you don't suck, most of your group will. This causes phases to become much longer and your burst advantage to disappear.
This is 100% correct and after having played in KR the avg skill level is almost exactly the same as NA and EU, take that as you will. Burst classes synergizing together take up the pizza slices before everyone else, but boundless mana cyclers like empress and emperor become much stronger in bus content where they have more time to scale.

The first clear was luck and good tactic. Mainly they use Innana for the final orb breaking phase. There is actually another team that reach the orb breaking phase of g6 first (airshowerse team) but they didn’t save Inana for that mech, they used Azena during metoer phase cuz they thought they don’t have enough time. Turn out no team have any nuker and they can’t nuke the orb, has to use Inana instead. The team with the machinist actually learn from that mistake and clear first.
9:07 "its anoying to maintain the thirst metter" ,while its literaly never off and it starts up with just 2 abilities up to full even without tripods for filling up the gage ,with thirst reaper im running circles around the boss while tearing a new asshole each time with 4 red skills that have 8 seconds cooldown due to 1800 swiftness and bracelet that gives + 65 swiftness when using dash and it lasts same as space dash cooldown 5 seconds on this goddly build the only bad thing is that it makes all the other classes feel like fatsos that cant move or do anything compared to the god reaper full swiftness build

Remember guys, trixion numbers don't count as peak build or player strategy. you can use reverse gravity as accurately you want in your igniter to gain meter to use ignition fast and land ALL you big hitters in trixion getting insane dps but in reality the boss will do a 180 back leap from your aoe and make you miss your doomsday, timing doesn't always pan out as you plan it.
it's the entropy ESO WD players themselves who are calling it a trixion only build, they don't want the build to become mainstream. if the 1 spender and 2 spender builds remain the most popular, slimegate will never nerf it as those builds are average at best

I’m a destroyer gt main because it’s the most fun for me. Honestly my personal opinion on GT buffs to make it good and not a meme is give it decay on speed stacks like you said but also make it hit master so that positioning isn’t as punishable. But idk if that would be broken or not I think the downside is still having to be stationary
Like I said in the video, current GT is basically just a bad version of barrage arti that just appeals to the bonk boy fantasy. I think the concept is cool but yes, master brawler on the identity is very hard to get off.
Make it front and back attack and then you pick you want to be head or ass bonker but anyway whatever you pick opposit should do more damage than now and would be fine or just buff base damage of bonk then if you know the fight you skyrocket if no you are trsh
As a GT main, I definitely agree that gt at its current state has issues. But dude says gt is only good at argos and valtan what u expect, argos is actually one of the worst fights for gt on ilvl. I just hate ppl commenting about a class when they have zero knowledge lol. Taking brel for example, GT is crazy good at G2 prokel and G4 cube, pretty decent at G1 and G5. The only gates it has issues are G3(boss tends to move a lot even with taunt) and G6(mechs favor burst classes)

so my 3 dps classes are pistoleer combat readiness and at scouter. I quess my roster is closer to 6 supports than I thought ( dmg wise ) ^^ But honestly after the buffs my pistoleer doesnt feel that weak anymore. I deal 4,3kk in trixion over 1min. at 1467 ilvl. thats quite decent for not rly having to backattack and being ranged. and they have nice stagger. my at scouter does the same dmg. at same ilvl
I can tell a lot of people may disagree with his listing, however I think it’s fair to appreciate the fact he offers a more detailed and different perspective than what most content creators say when they say “Just play whatever you want any class is good enough to complete content”. Although I agree with that, i would personally wanna know 100% the good and bad things about a class to further inform my decision if I decide to invest into it. LA is exceptionally grindy or P2W and y’all gotta admit it’s nice to know the cold hard truth, atleast his videos do that with this tier list.

In the beginning of the video you claimed to not tier classes based on damage output solely, however most of your criteria and subsequent analysis boiled down to how efficiently classes capitalized on available damage windows. It’s fine to admit your analysis will be focusing on how well a class can deal damage. I think what is especially jarring is how your tier classes in a way that heavily implies what’s worth to take and what isn’t. Why does a “for fun” category exist and then subsequently below it a troll category? What makes a “strong” , “I’d want you” or “OP” class distinct from one another in such a specific way that would almost certainly push down a class who is in the “average”? What does “average “ mean in this case, would it have not been more apt or true to your analysis to simply call them “bad” or “substandard “? For instance I play Glaivier and I agree with your analysis on how the damage is represented often times however I wouldn’t say it’s a “for fun class”, heavily implying someone who takes their time, effort and progress seriously wouldn’t main them which is exactly the impression you give. Rather they have usefulness outside of their lack luster damage or not as consistent crit synergy. Glaivier tends to have more consistent damage and that damage tends to have a much higher floor than most classes who do not play properly or find themselves in unavoidable situations where burst cannot be performed in adequate windows. They also tend to be great candidates for stagger since they have very short rotations and high versatility. A Glaiver does not have to hold skills to perform mechs. Their parry is also quite beneficial in keeping them in the fight while allowing for seamless transition between short periods where dodging or time stopping is required. You aren’t an expert and some of your prerequisites when framing your ideas were admittedly framed around “players” who for simplicity sake will always be in a position to deal optimal damage and rarely experiencing issues in raids. In an interesting way Glaivier can greed damage without much risk, whereas the biggest drawback is their rotation isn’t as powerful as an ignite or surge. Glaivier also has one of the fastest and most consistent counterattacks in the game in both stances, unlike many other classes you do not sacrifice as a Glaiver when having to make twitch decisions that benefit the raid. Perhaps they shine less simply due to how trivial most normal content becomes after players exceed gear requirements in excess and become extremely comfortable. Nonetheless ultimately I would highly recommend a Glaiver to any player who simply wants to be an active contributor to their party who can do more than focus on damage without sacrificing their damage for it. Being a mid range class with lots of mobility and usefulness in a fight is quite enjoyable honestly and I do also have a surge db and ignite sorc. All are for fun in their own ways. In a vacuum I think your ideas hold water, though to a significant degree I do think they do not translate very well in most settings. Very few classes fall I’m a “for fun” category for instance and to be quite fair I’m not sure why this category exists at all if you have another tier below it with a similar yet much more direct opinion.

I've played many MMOs and I hate tierlists. The people who gatekeep you are often the people who are also meta-chasers and will quit the game at the drop of a nerf. Enjoyment is often thrown out the window because of FOMO, which forces players to play something they really have no interest in wanting to play and can eventually cause them to quit the game. I play Reflux piano Sorc because I like mashing my buttons 24/7. I tried Igniter for a month during Argos era and really wanted to like it but I just couldn't, it felt way too slow and clunky due to no Swiftness and I absolutely hated it. Now people who see this tierlist are going to gatekeep Reflux even harder, completely ignoring that this is at peak sweaty gameplay with perfect player, perfect gems, and perfect supports. My best friend quit Lost Ark because he loves dual blades, but he was hard gatekept because like me, he loves mashing buttons and chose to go down the RE route for Deathblade. He couldn't get into any pug party finders unless I asked the party lead to let him in, and most of the time I'd get kicked as well because of hurr durr Reflux and RE. Imagine being so gatekept that you're not even allowed to play any content outside of queueing for Guardian Raids and Chaos Dungeons. This is extremely toxic. If one spec is that much worse over the other, why is it even there in the first place to bait players into finding it fun and fitting their playstyle, invest their time and effort into learning and gearing it and then get curb stomped for something that's completely out of their control? I've played another KMMO named Elsword for close to 7 years now and you won't believe the amount of gatekeeping that happens there at late late endgame, which is where I'm at. I'm well aware of the Korean mindset of "you're either playing the best class or else why are you playing the game", and it seeped over into NA over the years. I used to play one of the weaker classes and got nowhere. Once I jobchanged over to one of the stronger paths using a free jobchange ticket, I was suddenly being asked to join a lot of raid farming parties. This is not a coincidence. Now, players take you because of what you play, not because of who you are, which completely goes against what the MMO genre is meant to represent: large scale social interaction where you get to play with people across the entire world. But no, you will always get toxic min-max meta-chasers who will constantly job change to maintain their image of "being the top dps" when they're actually playing one of the most broken classes in the game in a meta where raids have 85%+ defence, and with their class having in-built 70-100% defence ignore. These same people will then gatekeep you for "underperforming" on a different class, or say you're shit when they run in a static with the BiS supports that provide extremely high defence shred. Not everyone has that luxury but they don't think that far. At late late endgame in Elsword, everybody knows everybody. They just look at the DPS meter and say you're bad, add you to an arbitrary inside blacklist among their circle and you're done, you're not getting anywhere because news and rumours travel fast. I'm very lucky that I managed to find a small group of friends who are also at the same point of progression who were willing to take me in, and I appreciate them a lot. Without them I would've never had any opportunity to run any raids. The unfortunate reality is that pugs will find any, and I mean ANY reason to gatekeep you, and tierlists don't make this any better. MMOs have an overall flaw in that endgame is all about your connections, i.e. who you know. It can get very depressing at times.

I agree on the most champions here but just for firepower enhancement on arti i have to disagree. He feels pump, i know average dmg, but one of the best stagger and destruction, one of the tankiest and also fast, good synergy and flexible gameplay.
I've been playing reflux main for one year, and this video just destroyed me 😭just because I find igniter too hard to play , like skills cycle and stuff, I enjoyed reflux quite a lot :o but I am seriously thinking of starting to learn igniter now... haha
Like he said Lone Knight is incredibly versatile and provides so much support for the team even if ur not an entropy class. But if you only care about being cruel fighter and being a broken class don’t go for it. Purely rating it on dmg I would put it around strong tier at best. It just doesn’t have enough dps outside of its main two dmg skills.

This might be a lot to ask, but can you PLEASE make a video in regards to PM1 vs. PM3 and which is better in YOUR opinion and why. Poet update I know there was some changes that people mentioned running PM3 is now much better. Having both builds I feel like PM1 will always have the upper hand but let me know your opinion. PM1 = more consistent dmg because you're sacrificing 20% execution damage on rifle in favor of Cursed Doll 3 which brings 16% overall AP, If you're looking for pure dmg then PM1 > PM3, however if you're looking for more execution damage as well as no Cursed Doll negative then PM3 is going to be better.
i think this is too niche and i try to limit the # of tierlists i make, I also think making a tierlist based on suboptimal situations doesn't really make sense based on how I see the game the way it's "meant" to be played
I am a casual Shadowhunter enjoyer, I do get a lot of getekeep, I am currently at 1470, And I don't rly plan to go higher than Kakul, even if I fell in love with Brel gate 6 when the game released and someone showed it from the Korea server. The problem is, this is the only class I can play, it is the only class I feel comfortable, I also got a reaper that I ejoy and yeah...lunar seems pretty fun, tried deathblade but it's too much for me to keep track of the back attack, for me deathblade is not enjoyable at all. Knowing these things, I don't really know what should I play anymore, perfect surpression makes the class lose identity and it does not feel good for me. One thing to mention, there are raids, that half of the time I appear on the post game dmg comparison with an avarage of 39% dmg dealt to the boss, and if you say that DI is trash, why gears and books are a lot more expensive than reaper for example? On that note, if it's really statistically bad they should improove the crit on demonic so t makes more sense, I agree on the note that Gems will be a big problem for SH. Another way of buffing it could be to reduce cooldowns on demonic skills so you could use them more, which means more consistent dmg overtime where u could hit 4 to 5 times the main dps ability
This tier list is implying best class synergies all lvl 10 gems and maxed everything. So unless you're going to be that, I wouldn't worry about this tier list too much. Shadow hunters reach high damage quick but they cap out quickly after their lvl 10 gems.
I always get mvp in G1-G2 vykas on my reflux sorc because the bosses move around so much that entropy cant do anything without a provoker so the tiers mean nothing because its only considering you are peaked for damage and synergy which in public lobbys is nowhere close to possible. Each boss has its own mvps.
I really wish I was a tad better at the game. I play empress and PM. Probably don't pull their high end dps. but I have fun, I guess. I don't like the slow playstyle of sorc, summoner, or arty ... and back attacking is smoge imo. Those 1 gem andy classes, though, are appealing even if I would hate playing them haha.
Finally someone who sees 4 Spender as playable . It’s really not that bad, the WD discord roasted me for like the last 3 months I’ve been saying it’s viable even without umar laz .
Agree 4 spender hits like a truck but playes like a battleship D: and you need to hit everything from the back... high risk but also high reward imo... not like with my reaper :,) ... my 1530 4 spender deals way more dmg as my 1565 thrist/moon reaper ... WD has a lvl14 weapon and my reaper 17...
Yeah man idk. As a lance master main it just seems like both of our class engravings feel bad to use generally. Pinnacle almost feels like theres no actual buff for perfectly managing your gauge and even when both are up consistently, there isnt a very noticeable difference in the damage your outputting. Control is fun but your just piss weak compared to pinnacle until very endgame. The downside of losing skills and gauge buffs almost isnt worth it since youll do pretty similar damage even if your bad at managing your forms. I have some copium that well see some extensive buffs/changes since weve been getting like +7% damage on red skills since the class came to global. Going off this video if your in the .01% of lance master/glaivier players, control is actually better but not by a huge margin.

Well every class has their patches where they become strong. I mean look at deadeye. Was considered one of the worst classes for a long time then got some good updates. Hopefully some buffs come sooner than later lol
I've played more classes than on my main 6. So yes, Almost every spec I have played. I have not played: SS, striker, or destroyer Also I'm not really sure why I have to play a class to understand it's potential? I constantly play with some of the top players in KR and NA on a daily basis.

no, i actually hate spec bard in pugs and swiftness bard is actually really good. Providing more shielding, good meter gen and better buff uptime. Swiftness bard's main source of atk power increase is Htune while spec is more focused on bubble
good list overall, still think you are underestimating the arcanas they should be on the upper tier of their tier, just outside of OP due to their hitmaster nature, BiS synergy and damage
I think empress performs normally quite well but every star card u get is such a massive decrease in dps, I think of all the times u can roll multiple star into clown which makes the floor lower than it should be
me as a DS SS main: Copium on next balance patch to revert or hard buff the meter gain. Bullshit change that made the class a meme. Without that shit, this class would be way better than LC.
I think it's pointless to rank classes that aren't released in our version of the game because we will def see balance changes by the time they come out

If you're an ambush master you should almost always go for the back attack, otherwise your relic set will be not utilized. In addition to your blade/gl synergies
if you're surge or an identity farming spec ambush class, it's often best to just get your gauge up and focus on hitting the back with your big hitters. If you can though, obviously back attack. You get additional damage from relic set, engraving, more dmg from just back attacking, 10% crit. It's too good to not go for.

Because TTH peaks with 5x3+1, as PM1 is by far one of the most OP lvl 1 engravings in the game. However, you can't reach a good 5x3+2 because you can't run class at lvl 2, normally a 9/7 rock only allows you to run the battle engraving at lvl 2 that was achieved by 7 nodes on the 9/7 or 10 nodes on 10/6. 9/9 allows you to bypass that and run 2 class accessories with + 5 (this means you can reach PM+2)
@@Legaliaaa ah so essentially because PM isn’t possible on a 9/7 stone (requirement for the 5x3+2), a 9/9 stone is required to circumvent that rule to have 5x3+2. Am I understanding that correctly?

I have appropriate lvl7 cd and atk from community guides and intend to push her after I get my lvl10 gem on blade but curious when damage gets to really be up there. I currently enjoy her for the fun but you mentioned with buffs it’s really strong and wondering when can I expect to see the return on investment. This can be at certain gems and item level but in your opinion what’s a good gauge? Appreciate the content btw.
Once you invest this much the class easily out preforms 90% of other dps especially since it’s less reliant on good support uptime/synergies. But a blade will be cheaper to build and mvp with so keep that in mind.
I actually don't think BT is that far behind Mayhem because of the mana issues. If you're actually good at the class you're gonna keep hitting boundless. Unless you count mana regen food. But if you consider Mayhem with mana food, then you probably gotta give consider BT with stims. Idk maybe always having an artist solves the issue too though. It's really hard to actually parse Mayhem in Trixion because you hit boundless so quickly.
@@qusaikaheli8190 It's not really a problem. Every red dust has finish strike and overdrive. First and fourth have bloody rush. Second has awakening or filler (tempest, brave). Third has hell blade. I wouldn't say it's too much of an issue
@Jiggy B yes? pre-pop stim before a fight. if you don't have salvation stacks yet, and you're running the highest dps build (mass increase) you're a turtle going into the fight. You're telling me you never miss a builder ability starting a fight with 100% attack speed? If you miss any of them, you're either waiting for wind blade to come off CD or you have to use hell blade. sry I actually miss abilities sometimes, guess I'm a shitter
also, (assuming you're bussing all the normal raids here, since doing them otherwise is boring as hell right now), the hardest mech imo (besides brel g4 which I think needs you to specifically build around yellow mech stagger) is clown g2 maze skip. Even saving 7 seconds of downtime rebuilding can often make the difference here. At least in the gear I currently have, it's real tight.

The difference is Mayhem scales with CD gems and BT doesn't (you dont get another dust no matter what your CD gems are). So at level 10s Mayhem parses about 7-8% better. But idk if 10s is realistic for most people. Have you actually parsed? You run out of mana ridiculously fast with high uptime. It's why in KR zerks run an mp recovery bracelet and it's standard practice to use food.

If I were good enough at Lone knight to land 80+% of my 2 nukes with optimal uptime on the boss's face I'd totally main that class. Sadly I'm not, if you're good enough to pull this off then you're pretty damn good. Hitting 100% of surges on the bosses arse is easier than 80% on a bosses face with a charge skill imo.

Think about it this way. A transformation classes reaches its peak with 2 lvl 10 gems, and because of that the devs balance their power accordingly. Every wondered why transform classes only have 6 skills and not 8? A standard class like pm gunslinger gains access to 7 dmg skills which allows them to scale harder in addition to the tripods. Demonic and legacy apply 40% dmg and 20% cdr to their transform skills which are unaffected by tripods thus scaling worse in the end game.
LA meta is and always burst. just the existence of atropine and stimulant which will benefit most by burst classes proves that this game doesn't really appreciate DoT dps classes.
How can 25 specs be above average, 7 average, and 9 below average? There are more 'disgustingly OP' specs than there are average ones? As a fellow "abicus/spreadsheet" enjoyer who also plays hellmode content I agree this is probably the most accurate tier list by far. Very insightful as you also pull data (practical data as well) from other top end players. However very early in the video I do think the RE vs Surge comment is quite exaggerated/sensationalized and can be taken as misinformation. The tier list is accurate and I do believe RE is Average tier in the context of the best players but the comment on "you don't need to land 20 stack... you can just do 14 stack..." will mislead the average db enjoyer to believe its Surge or gtfo. A simple trixion parse comparing 14-16 stack surge rotations vs RE will easily show RE favorably outdps's surge. For the average player out there reading this, find out if you can adapt to the flow of the boss encounter and have awareness of the hp/mech at all times. Many players do NOT even pay attention to the number listed in the hp bar and would be losing out on surge dps. You also have to make sure the surge lands to the back or else its smodge dps (more punishing if majority dps is weighted to 1 skill). Obviously for the top end player, they will have both high back attack uptime (necessary for both specs) and awareness of the boss patterns + health so RE falls off hard to that demographic, hence the 'Average' tier dps.
Overall great tier list and I agree with the majority of what you have to say for most classes. I still do think that Arcana could be moved up a bit. Even though you have pointed out its dmg is not as high as people make it out to be, I think it's mainly the fact that it's super consistent even without the main cards to be compared to the rest. That is just me from what I have noticed with Arcana. For people wanting more information about Wardancers, as someone who mains 4 spenders on NA and KR I 100% agree with the placement with the class if it has entropy synergy. Without synergy I would said it is slightly behind a surge blade. In some scenarios I found that if there is a really skilled igniter sorc, master summ or barrage artillerist, it can become really difficult to compete and upkeep your damage in Hell Modes and high end raids like Kayangel, Akkan and Voldike. It all kind of depends on how well you understand the fight and what type of patterns the boss decides to do. I think for the average Eso Wardancer player, if you play 2 Spender Dominion or 3 Spender Hallucination I would probably rank them in Strong, but there are arguments where you could even rank 2 Spender in Average (in front of FI) as you start over gearring for raids. 3 Spender Entropy would definitely be in Hey I want you! behind a deathblow striker. 4 Spender Hallucination would also be ranked around 3 spender entropy. Overall pretty good tier list!
Arcana dmg stems from staying in boundless which it barely spends anytime in when you're doing 8 man content, thats why people have been playing dominion instead in some situations. It's definitely op tier in bus content where you can maintain boundless

The reason I don't make an average skill level tier list is because at average skill level it literally does not matter what class you play. At that point gear matters more than anything else. And no, i don't think scouter/demonic MVP ever you can check my recent vods to see that they never do.

Here's a gentle reminder to anyone reading this: Do NOT 'gatekeep' based on class/spec due to tierlists like this, yes even the ones in trash tier. Everyone's got classes that they clear on, don't be that guy that denies well-geared players playing a class that you perceive as "weak" since you fear a very slightly slower clear. The reality is, the people you find in party finder ACTUALLY SUCK, so pretty much every person you invite to a raid is a diceroll anyway, so it actually does not matter what classes you invite to pugs. Someone dying early has a far far bigger impact on raid DPS than just simply having a transformation class in your raid group, and no I'm not assuming that transformation classes typically live longer. Synergy also doesn't have a huge impact on reclear content too, most people misunderstand it too. Just, don't be an asshole to the people playing those classes, they like them and they still have to clear content too.

As the disclaimer says, you don't have to worry about this if you're not a 0.1% player. Burst classes don't do more damage overall, they do it FIRST. For this to matter, you need to deny the sustained DPS a chance to attack by going from phase to phase as fast as possible. To do this, the team's damage as a whole must be high. If you're playing with PUGS (most of whom won't be playing optimally) around item level or only +10-20 over, Reflux will compete with Igniter despite being in opposite tiers.
To use the analogy ATK used of Pizza slices, it depends on how fast the Pizza is gone. It doesn't matter if you can eat three slices of Pizza in 10 seconds and then eat nothing for 12 seconds IF the person eating a slice every seven seconds gets a chance to eat before the Pizza is gone. You only get to eat more Pizza if everyone else also eats it in ten seconds, and the other guy is left with one slice to your three.
The lower the group's DPS is, the worse burst classes become. For example, on summoner for like 95% of players the swift version is better because even if you don't suck, most of your group will. This causes phases to become much longer and your burst advantage to disappear.
This is 100% correct and after having played in KR the avg skill level is almost exactly the same as NA and EU, take that as you will. Burst classes synergizing together take up the pizza slices before everyone else, but boundless mana cyclers like empress and emperor become much stronger in bus content where they have more time to scale.

The first clear was luck and good tactic. Mainly they use Innana for the final orb breaking phase. There is actually another team that reach the orb breaking phase of g6 first (airshowerse team) but they didn’t save Inana for that mech, they used Azena during metoer phase cuz they thought they don’t have enough time. Turn out no team have any nuker and they can’t nuke the orb, has to use Inana instead. The team with the machinist actually learn from that mistake and clear first.
9:07 "its anoying to maintain the thirst metter" ,while its literaly never off and it starts up with just 2 abilities up to full even without tripods for filling up the gage ,with thirst reaper im running circles around the boss while tearing a new asshole each time with 4 red skills that have 8 seconds cooldown due to 1800 swiftness and bracelet that gives + 65 swiftness when using dash and it lasts same as space dash cooldown 5 seconds on this goddly build the only bad thing is that it makes all the other classes feel like fatsos that cant move or do anything compared to the god reaper full swiftness build
what I mean is during certain cutscenes where you can't move, you will lose the meter.

Remember guys, trixion numbers don't count as peak build or player strategy. you can use reverse gravity as accurately you want in your igniter to gain meter to use ignition fast and land ALL you big hitters in trixion getting insane dps but in reality the boss will do a 180 back leap from your aoe and make you miss your doomsday, timing doesn't always pan out as you plan it.
it's the entropy ESO WD players themselves who are calling it a trixion only build, they don't want the build to become mainstream. if the 1 spender and 2 spender builds remain the most popular, slimegate will never nerf it as those builds are average at best

I’m a destroyer gt main because it’s the most fun for me. Honestly my personal opinion on GT buffs to make it good and not a meme is give it decay on speed stacks like you said but also make it hit master so that positioning isn’t as punishable. But idk if that would be broken or not I think the downside is still having to be stationary
Like I said in the video, current GT is basically just a bad version of barrage arti that just appeals to the bonk boy fantasy. I think the concept is cool but yes, master brawler on the identity is very hard to get off.

As a GT main, I definitely agree that gt at its current state has issues. But dude says gt is only good at argos and valtan what u expect, argos is actually one of the worst fights for gt on ilvl. I just hate ppl commenting about a class when they have zero knowledge lol. Taking brel for example, GT is crazy good at G2 prokel and G4 cube, pretty decent at G1 and G5. The only gates it has issues are G3(boss tends to move a lot even with taunt) and G6(mechs favor burst classes)

so my 3 dps classes are pistoleer combat readiness and at scouter. I quess my roster is closer to 6 supports than I thought ( dmg wise ) ^^
But honestly after the buffs my pistoleer doesnt feel that weak anymore. I deal 4,3kk in trixion over 1min. at 1467 ilvl. thats quite decent for not rly having to backattack and being ranged. and they have nice stagger. my at scouter does the same dmg. at same ilvl
I can tell a lot of people may disagree with his listing, however I think it’s fair to appreciate the fact he offers a more detailed and different perspective than what most content creators say when they say “Just play whatever you want any class is good enough to complete content”. Although I agree with that, i would personally wanna know 100% the good and bad things about a class to further inform my decision if I decide to invest into it. In the beginning of the video you claimed to not tier classes based on damage output solely, however most of your criteria and subsequent analysis boiled down to how efficiently classes capitalized on available damage windows. It’s fine to admit your analysis will be focusing on how well a class can deal damage. I think what is especially jarring is how your tier classes in a way that heavily implies what’s worth to take and what isn’t. Why does a “for fun” category exist and then subsequently below it a troll category? What makes a “strong” , “I’d want you” or “OP” class distinct from one another in such a specific way that would almost certainly push down a class who is in the “average”? What does “average “ mean in this case, would it have not been more apt or true to your analysis to simply call them “bad” or “substandard “?
For instance I play Glaivier and I agree with your analysis on how the damage is represented often times however I wouldn’t say it’s a “for fun class”, heavily implying someone who takes their time, effort and progress seriously wouldn’t main them which is exactly the impression you give.
Rather they have usefulness outside of their lack luster damage or not as consistent crit synergy. Glaivier tends to have more consistent damage and that damage tends to have a much higher floor than most classes who do not play properly or find themselves in unavoidable situations where burst cannot be performed in adequate windows. They also tend to be great candidates for stagger since they have very short rotations and high versatility.
A Glaiver does not have to hold skills to perform mechs. Their parry is also quite beneficial in keeping them in the fight while allowing for seamless transition between short periods where dodging or time stopping is required. You aren’t an expert and some of your prerequisites when framing your ideas were admittedly framed around “players” who for simplicity sake will always be in a position to deal optimal damage and rarely experiencing issues in raids. In an interesting way Glaivier can greed damage without much risk, whereas the biggest drawback is their rotation isn’t as powerful as an ignite or surge. Glaivier also has one of the fastest and most consistent counterattacks in the game in both stances, unlike many other classes you do not sacrifice as a Glaiver when having to make twitch decisions that benefit the raid. Perhaps they shine less simply due to how trivial most normal content becomes after players exceed gear requirements in excess and become extremely comfortable. Nonetheless ultimately I would highly recommend a Glaiver to any player who simply wants to be an active contributor to their party who can do more than focus on damage without sacrificing their damage for it. Being a mid range class with lots of mobility and usefulness in a fight is quite enjoyable honestly and I do also have a surge db and ignite sorc. All are for fun in their own ways.
In a vacuum I think your ideas hold water, though to a significant degree I do think they do not translate very well in most settings. Very few classes fall

I've played many MMOs and I hate tierlists.
The people who gatekeep you are often the people who are also meta-chasers and will quit the game at the drop of a nerf. Enjoyment is often thrown out the window because of FOMO, which forces players to play something they really have no interest in wanting to play and can eventually cause them to quit the game.
I play Reflux piano Sorc because I like mashing my buttons 24/7. I tried Igniter for a month during Argos era and really wanted to like it but I just couldn't, it felt way too slow and clunky due to no Swiftness and I absolutely hated it. Now people who see this tierlist are going to gatekeep Reflux even harder, completely ignoring that this is at peak sweaty gameplay with perfect player, perfect gems, and perfect supports. My best friend quit Lost Ark because he loves dual blades, but he was hard gatekept because like me, he loves mashing buttons and chose to go down the RE route for Deathblade. He couldn't get into any pug party finders unless I asked the party lead to let him in, and most of the time I'd get kicked as well because of hurr durr Reflux and RE. Imagine being so gatekept that you're not even allowed to play any content outside of queueing for Guardian Raids and Chaos Dungeons. This is extremely toxic. If one spec is that much worse over the other, why is it even there in the first place to bait players into finding it fun and fitting their playstyle, invest their time and effort into learning and gearing it and then get curb stomped for something that's completely out of their control?
I've played another KMMO named Elsword for close to 7 years now and you won't believe the amount of gatekeeping that happens there at late late endgame, which is where I'm at. I'm well aware of the Korean mindset of "you're either playing the best class or else why are you playing the game", and it seeped over into NA over the years. I used to play one of the weaker classes and got nowhere. Once I jobchanged over to one of the stronger paths using a free jobchange ticket, I was suddenly being asked to join a lot of raid farming parties. This is not a coincidence.
Now, players take you because of what you play, not because of who you are, which completely goes against what the MMO genre is meant to represent: large scale social interaction where you get to play with people across the entire world. But no, you will always get toxic min-max meta-chasers who will constantly job change to maintain their image of "being the top dps" when they're actually playing one of the most broken classes in the game in a meta where raids have 85%+ defence, and with their class having in-built 70-100% defence ignore. These same people will then gatekeep you for "underperforming" on a different class, or say you're shit when they run in a static with the BiS supports that provide extremely high defence shred. Not everyone has that luxury but they don't think that far. At late late endgame in Elsword, everybody knows everybody. They just look at the DPS meter and say you're bad, add you to an arbitrary inside blacklist among their circle and you're done, you're not getting anywhere because news and rumours travel fast. I'm very lucky that I managed to find a small group of friends who are also at the same point of progression who were willing to take me in, and I appreciate them a lot. Without them I would've never had any opportunity to run any raids.
The unfortunate reality is that pugs will find any, and I mean ANY reason to gatekeep you, and tierlists don't make this any better. MMOs have an overall flaw in that endgame is all about your connections, i.e. who you know. It can get very depressing at times.

I agree on the most champions here but just for firepower enhancement on arti i have to disagree. He feels pump, i know average dmg, but one of the best stagger and destruction, one of the tankiest and also fast, good synergy and flexible gameplay.
I've been playing reflux main for one year, and this video just destroyed me 😭just because I find igniter too hard to play , like skills cycle and stuff, I enjoyed reflux quite a lot :o but I am seriously thinking of starting to learn igniter now... haha
Like he said Lone Knight is incredibly versatile and provides so much support for the team even if ur not an entropy class. But if you only care about being cruel fighter and being a broken class don’t go for it. Purely rating it on dmg I would put it around strong tier at best. It just doesn’t have enough dps outside of its main two dmg skills.

Poet update I know there was some changes that people mentioned running PM3 is now much better. Having both builds I feel like PM1 will always have the upper hand but let me know your opinion. PM1 = more consistent dmg because you're sacrificing 20% execution damage on rifle in favor of Cursed Doll 3 which brings 16% overall AP, If you're looking for pure dmg then PM1 > PM3, however if you're looking for more execution damage as well as no Cursed Doll negative then PM3 is going to be better.

i think this is too niche and i try to limit the # of tierlists i make, I also think making a tierlist based on suboptimal situations doesn't really make sense based on how I see the game the way it's "meant" to be played

Im playing eso full spec its almoust same with DB with more burst potential , maybe a bit lower overall.
I am a casual Shadowhunter enjoyer, I do get a lot of getekeep, I am currently at 1470, And I don't rly plan to go higher than Kakul, even if I fell in love with Brel gate 6 when the game released and someone showed it from the Korea server. The problem is, this is the only class I can play, it is the only class I feel comfortable, I also got a reaper that I ejoy and yeah...lunar seems pretty fun, tried deathblade but it's too much for me to keep track of the back attack, for me deathblade is not enjoyable at all. Knowing these things, I don't really know what should I play anymore, perfect surpression makes the class lose identity and it does not feel good for me. One thing to mention, there are raids, that half of the time I appear on the post game dmg comparison with an avarage of 39% dmg dealt to the boss, and if you say that DI is trash, why gears and books are a lot more expensive than reaper for example? On that note, if it's really statistically bad they should improove the crit on demonic so t makes more sense, I agree on the note that Gems will be a big problem for SH. Another way of buffing it could be to reduce cooldowns on demonic skills so you could use them more, which means more consistent dmg overtime where u could hit 4 to 5 times the main dps ability

Prices are higher because more people play Demonic than Reaper.
This tier list is implying best class synergies all lvl 10 gems and maxed everything. So unless you're going to be that, I wouldn't worry about this tier list too much. Shadow hunters reach high damage quick but they cap out quickly after their lvl 10 gems.

I was shocked after see pistoleer tier but I still play. Its really fun class in my opinion.
I always get mvp in G1-G2 vykas on my reflux sorc because the bosses move around so much that entropy cant do anything without a provoker so the tiers mean nothing because its only considering you are peaked for damage and synergy which in public lobbys is nowhere close to possible. Each boss has its own mvps.

I really wish I was a tad better at the game. I play empress and PM. Probably don't pull their high end dps. but I have fun, I guess. I don't like the slow playstyle of sorc, summoner, or arty ... and back attacking is smoge imo. Those 1 gem andy classes, though, are appealing even if I would hate playing them haha.
Was deciding if I wanted to go EO Soulfist or Emperor Arcana and this did not help 😂

Yeah man idk. As a lance master main it just seems like both of our class engravings feel bad to use generally. Pinnacle almost feels like theres no actual buff for perfectly managing your gauge and even when both are up consistently, there isnt a very noticeable difference in the damage your outputting. Control is fun but your just piss weak compared to pinnacle until very endgame. The downside of losing skills and gauge buffs almost isnt worth it since youll do pretty similar damage even if your bad at managing your forms. I have some copium that well see some extensive buffs/changes since weve been getting like +7% damage on red skills since the class came to global.
Going off this video if your in the .01% of lance master/glaivier players, control is actually better but not by a huge margin.
tbh I overrated control In this video, it actually does the lowest dmg in the game, much lower than even pistoleer. pinnacle > control

Well every class has their patches where they become strong. I mean look at deadeye. Was considered one of the worst classes for a long time then got some good updates. no, i actually hate spec bard in pugs and swiftness bard is actually really good. Providing more shielding, good meter gen and better buff uptime. Swiftness bard's main source of atk power increase is Htune while spec is more focused on bubble

at 1800 spec and lvl 10 force orb cdr you can fit in 4 force orbs

I think empress performs normally quite well but every star card u get is such a massive decrease in dps, I think of all the times u can roll multiple star into clown which makes the floor lower than it should be

If you're an ambush master you should almost always go for the back attack, otherwise your relic set will be not utilized. In addition to your blade/gl synergies
if you're surge or an identity farming spec ambush class, it's often best to just get your gauge up and focus on hitting the back with your big hitters.
If you can though, obviously back attack. You get additional damage from relic set, engraving, more dmg from just back attacking, 10% crit. It's too good to not go for.

Why do you need a 9/9 stone for TTH to truly pump? I understand 1800 spec but 9/9 is unruly lucky.
Because TTH peaks with 5x3+1, as PM1 is by far one of the most OP lvl 1 engravings in the game. However, you can't reach a good 5x3+2 because you can't run class at lvl 2, normally a 9/7 rock only allows you to run the battle engraving at lvl 2 that was achieved by 7 nodes on the 9/7 or 10 nodes on 10/6. 9/9 allows you to bypass that and run 2 class accessories with + 5 (this means you can reach PM+2)

I have appropriate lvl7 cd and atk from community guides and intend to push her after I get my lvl10 gem on blade but curious when damage gets to really be up there. I currently enjoy her for the fun but you mentioned with buffs it’s really strong and wondering when can I expect to see the return on investment. This can be at certain gems and item level but in your opinion what’s a good gauge? Appreciate the content btw.
Once you invest this much the class easily out preforms 90% of other dps especially since it’s less reliant on good support uptime/synergies. But a blade will be cheaper to build and mvp with so keep that in mind.

I actually don't think BT is that far behind Mayhem because of the mana issues. If you're actually good at the class you're gonna keep hitting boundless. Unless you count mana regen food. But if you consider Mayhem with mana food, then you probably gotta give consider BT with stims. Idk maybe always having an artist solves the issue too though.
It's really hard to actually parse Mayhem in Trixion because you hit boundless so quickly.
The problem with BT is the abilities CD don't line up with red dust.

You're telling me you never miss a builder ability starting a fight with 100% attack speed? If you miss any of them, you're either waiting for wind blade to come off CD or you have to use hell blade. sry I actually miss abilities sometimes, guess I'm a shitter
also, (assuming you're bussing all the normal raids here, since doing them otherwise is boring as hell right now), the hardest mech imo (besides brel g4 which I think needs you to specifically build around yellow mech stagger) is clown g2 maze skip. Even saving 7 seconds of downtime rebuilding can often make the difference here. At least in the gear I currently have, it's real tight.
@Jiggy B no? I never said anything about parsing. But if you want to go there, at my gear (1565, level 9 damage, level 7 CDs, 5x3+1) in Trixion the two are very close. The difference is Mayhem scales with CD gems and BT doesn't (you dont get another dust no matter what your CD gems are). So at level 10s Mayhem parses about 7-8% better. But idk if 10s is realistic for most people. Have you actually parsed? You run out of mana ridiculously fast with high uptime. It's why in KR zerks run an mp recovery bracelet and it's standard practice to use food.

If I were good enough at Lone knight to land 80+% of my 2 nukes with optimal uptime on the boss's face I'd totally main that class. Sadly I'm not, if you're good enough to pull this off then you're pretty damn good.
Hitting 100% of surges on the bosses arse is easier than 80% on a bosses face with a charge skill imo.
LK very hard to play class and I only know 2 very good LK players I've met, both of whom would outdps 99% of the avg igniter sorc population.

I don't get it. Why having 2 gems for transformation classes is bad.
Think about it this way. A transformation classes reaches its peak with 2 lvl 10 gems, and because of that the devs balance their power accordingly. Every wondered why transform classes only have 6 skills and not 8? A standard class like pm gunslinger gains access to 7 dmg skills which allows them to scale harder in addition to the tripods.
Demonic and legacy apply 40% dmg and 20% cdr to their transform skills which are unaffected by tripods thus scaling worse in the end game.

As a fellow "abicus/spreadsheet" enjoyer who also plays hellmode content I agree this is probably the most accurate tier list by far.
Very insightful as you also pull data (practical data as well) from other top end players.
However very early in the video I do think the RE vs Surge comment is quite exaggerated/sensationalized and can be taken as misinformation. The tier list is accurate and I do believe RE is Average tier in the context of the best players but the comment on "you don't need to land 20 stack... you can just do 14 stack..." will mislead the average db enjoyer to believe its Surge or gtfo.
A simple trixion parse comparing 14-16 stack surge rotations vs RE will easily show RE favorably outdps's surge.
For the average player out there reading this, find out if you can adapt to the flow of the boss encounter and have awareness of the hp/mech at all times. Many players do NOT even pay attention to the number listed in the hp bar and would be losing out on surge dps. You also have to make sure the surge lands to the back or else its smodge dps (more punishing if majority dps is weighted to 1 skill).
Obviously for the top end player, they will have both high back attack uptime (necessary for both specs) and awareness of the boss patterns + health so RE falls off hard to that demographic, hence the 'Average' tier dps.

Overall great tier list and I agree with the majority of what you have to say for most classes. I still do think that Arcana could be moved up a bit. Even though you have pointed out its dmg is not as high as people make it out to be, I think it's mainly the fact that it's super consistent even without the main cards to be compared to the rest. That is just me from what I have noticed with Arcana.
For people wanting more information about Wardancers, as someone who mains 4 spenders on NA and KR I 100% agree with the placement with the class if it has entropy synergy. Without synergy I would said it is slightly behind a surge blade. In some scenarios I found that if there is a really skilled igniter sorc, master summ or barrage artillerist, it can become really difficult to compete and upkeep your damage in Hell Modes and high end raids like Kayangel, Akkan and Voldike. It all kind of depends on how well you understand the fight and what type of patterns the boss decides to do.
I think for the average Eso Wardancer player, if you play 2 Spender Dominion or 3 Spender Hallucination I would probably rank them in Strong, but there are arguments where you could even rank 2 Spender in Average (in front of FI) as you start over gearring for raids. 3 Spender Entropy would definitely be in Hey I want you! behind a deathblow striker. 4 Spender Hallucination would also be ranked around 3 spender entropy.
Overall pretty good tier list!
Arcana dmg stems from staying in boundless which it barely spends anytime in when you're doing 8 man content, thats why people have been playing dominion instead in some situations. It's definitely op tier in bus content where you can maintain boundless

The reason I don't make an average skill level tier list is because at average skill level it literally does not matter what class you play. At that point gear matters more than anything else. And no, i don't think scouter/demonic MVP ever you can check my recent vods to see that they never do.

Mana regen is actually a - because every hm class in summoner party does not want mana synergy (eg empress/emperor/igniter)
Empress arcana dmg is not coming from the class, its from the player/pilot like you said, i dont see any arcana player as good as Jiudau, even you when it comes to gunslinger too Jiudau plays better. 😌
